  1. Fire Cape for sure. I think getting it was the most difficult thing I've ever done on RS, besides quitting which I unfortunately haven't done :P
  2. I have 500 Silver Tiaras on the GE on lowest, and I can't sell them after an hour. They will eventually sell, since some people might use them to train RC (I made body tiaras to get to 38 RC).
  3. I had 54 crafting and wanted to raise it to 54 fast so I could create a slayer helm (with poison chalice). After some thinking, I decided to make Silver Tiaras. At first I wanted to string Yak Hair into ropes (25 exp), but due to difficulties getting them on the GE I settled for tiaras, which I'm thankful for. You have 13 levels to go requiring quite a lot of exp, so I'm not sure if Silver Tiaras are the best for you. Bowstrings definitely aren't, because you'll easily make back the cash lost from Tiaras + Bowstrings with the time saved.
  4. I've cannoned the mighty banshees two times (sumona task), and I managed to break even one time while the other time I lost 10k or so. It's the common Pure Essence, Ranarr and rare Mystic Gloves drops that made me break even. I wore prayer gear with a Slayer Helm, then cannoned and meleed them at the same time. I prefer Sumona over Duradel :geek:
  5. It was the "ur hawt" and "be my gf" part that got you in trouble. It's a quite recent rule they added, probably because a lot of people before pretended to be girls and went around gold digging. All others, like **** it and gtfo are all acceptable though I wouldn't recommend you to use them much since they sound a bit silly. Asking for someone's gender I don't think is against the rules, but it does raise some eyebrows if you do that lol :P
  6. At what level does it give +2 prayer points per dose, and how about for 3?
  7. It'll be enough when you go through the doors that required red mists in bottles, and watch cutscene. You will then get a varrock teletab from the scout dude, after you teleport back to varrock you can get inside the place unhindered. So the smithing and all that isn't required.
  8. Probably just bad luck. I'm doing a Turoth task right now and I've obtained 3 ranarrs after 15 minutes, not sure if that's what to expect.
  9. I'd say that there are more skill capes, simply because you can get 99 in a skill by spending a lot of time while a Fire Cape cannot be obtained by spending lots of time without the skills.
  10. Woah didn't know that! Thanks for the tips.
  11. I'm guessing you get around 50 - 90k a day, is that what you guys are averaging per day?
  12. How much profit can you pull in per day? I'm interested in doing some MTK but I don't know whether or not it's worth the time. What happens with MTK if you turn non-member, and can you directly retrieve your gold invested in the kingdom?
  13. I think it'll be a powerful familiar that attacks with magic, so powerful that after being summoned, it will constantly lose HP every second or something and once its HP goes down to 0 it turns into an egg with maybe 50 HP. If the egg can survive for a short amount of time, the Phoenix will be reborn and start losing HP once again. So in order to kill the Phoenix you need to get its HP to 0 and destroy the egg before it is reborn. That's just my idea, it's taken from Warcraft 3.
  14. Moss Giants are good too, they're easier and faster to kill.
  15. Ah I was foolish, I should've asked the Penguins W60 clan chat. Here's what I got: Everything resets on Wednesday, both cashing in points and finding penguins.
  16. Getting the Bull Ant at 40 summoning would be good too, since it's similar to the Spirit Terrorbird (52) and can restore run energy, with the difference that it holds 3 inventory less. I don't know if there are any other significant differences.
  17. I was wondering when the 15 points per week cash in resets; I cashed in 7 points today, when can I cash in more next time? Will it be on Monday, or does it reset depending on the day I cash it in? How about the penguins, do you get points for finding them on a daily or weekly basis?
  18. My opinion is that slayer is definitely overrated. There are ways of earning cash and gaining experience points that are significantly better than what slayer has to offer. Slayer is not reliable as you cannot really select your assignments, and you have to train it to a high level in order to have the cash rolling in. The reason why it's overrated is because it's almost become a default answer to questions like "How do I make money on members?" and has remained so for quite some time. It doesn't suck however, it's just overrated and not a skill I would train more on. It probably does benefit you psychologically, since you get an assignment and you're more focused on training.
  19. So what really did happen with Arthur Petrelli that made everyone think he died, and what was the cause of that? I think those at Primatech deliberately tried to kill him when they found out what he could do. I'm puzzled why Parkman's dad helped Arthur in the first place, and he looked terrified when he was having a conversation with Arthur two episodes ago when he was still weak in bed. How about Sylar, has he switched sides once again? Could it be possible that he is still loyal to mom, but is faking his actions to trick his dad (or has no choice as Arthur would own him)?
  20. Mining granite like that guy did in the video is the fastest, though it certainly isn't good for your arm / hand / fingers. It's a bit more calming if you mined a full inventory and dropped all at the same time because you won't help to move the mouse so much.
  21. No matter how careful Jagex is, they can't control stuff like this. That player could've done the things required to become one in the game and do bad things outside of the game. Jagex cannot just ban him if they even happen to see his name on a cheat site, and a very possible explanation could be because screenshots (or whatever evidence you have) can be easily faked. If they relied on that kind of information you could get a lot of player moderators or players busted.
  22. Yes player moderators are worthy and Jagex does carefully select them. About them abusing powers isn't really true, though it depends on how you define it. Abusing powers to the degree of muting innocent people won't work for long, because when you mute someone you send in a report as well so Jagex can investigate. The fact that a large number of them can act rude, or more accurately, annoyed, is because tons of people bother them or sometimes even insults them based on generalization. They don't get any favors besides that crown and ability to mute and aren't obliged to help out even if you ask them to or if there's a rule breaker nearby. If there's one thing that holds true for a large percentage of Player Moderators, it's the fact that they report too much and even for small and harmful matters. This is caused by the fact that a player must send in many reports in order to become a moderator, and thus continue to do so after getting the position. Other than this you can't generalize. I've based my thoughts and opinions on my own time as a previous player moderator, so I've been in the pmod environment.
  23. I'd actually replace one or two ranged potions and a restore potion for saradomin brews. If this is your first time, you might make a couple of mistakes and take damage so the extra brews will come in handy. Ranged potions aren't so necessary and you'll probably only want to use it during later waves. With your stats and gear, you should have no problem at all completing it. It all lies on your ability and skill, doing things right and making as few mistakes as possible. I have done the Fight Caves myself in which I died on Jad, but it was just a mistake made by me. I still had enough resources to beat him left. And I was using a similar gear like yours, though my book is just a +5 prayer boost. Keep in mind that I have 69 ranged, 62 prayer and had 70 defense back then, way below your stats.
  24. The best dropper for gold charms would be Moss Giants. You can find them in quite a lot of places, I was at the island with them. Go to east Ardounge and take the boat to Brimhaven. Walk west and swing the rope to an island with 5 or 6 mossies. Fire Giants have the highest drop rate according to a guide though, but it's only a little bit higher than that of mossies'. But since they take longer to kill, mossies are probably better. Here's a good guide with charm drop rates. http://forum.[Please Use QuickFind Code].ws?19,20,471,57525290
  25. Your starting money is too low, with 2 mil you won't be making enough to meet your expectations. Items can only go 5% above or below the market price, and there's also a restriction of how many items you can buy per four hours. Using realistic calculations, you'll make maybe 6% per reselling, which is 120k of 2 mil. Buying those items could take well over a day or two, often even more if the market's bad. If you really want that little, here's some advice. Think of items where there are enough people who sell low or at market price, but at the same time with people willing to buy them at max.
