coming from a 99 miner, that means a alot! thanks! i was going to finish with gold to 85...but i want SOME money...so i want to do addy in the desert mining camp. theres 6 rocks there. any1 give insight on how many people are usually there? or is it deserted?

9/10 it's small...and the bulk of the value is in combat items...most of my money is in skilling (like if I got some levels I'd b "comfortable" again). the trouble with having expensive items is that their price fluctuates. I remember buying a mages book at 3.6, then it dropped to 3.2, then [bleep]ed to 3.8, and now is 2.4ish

i originally wanted to mine gold from 83-85. i am now close to 84 and will level soon. and i have just found out that the desert mining camp has adamantite rocks. my question is should i go there and mine addy and then tele to alkharid to bank and run back? and is that place packed most of the time? or can i find an empty world without any disturbances? please help

exactly. they rolled it back because it caused a great affect in the economy. here, they were able to stop the crashing within a few hours, and nothing major happened. not compared to phat dupe

looked at high scores....how can someone go so long without getting 99 in range especially with 1 exp to go...

[hide=] Mining 50k ess isn't an achievment? What Runescape do you play? With a titan you can mine up to 3k ess an hour, this means it would only take 16 hours, 40 minutes to mine this much. That really isn't that long for an achievement. He/she is unranked in summoning. not only unranked, never did wolf whistle. so imagine how hard this mustve been for me to do. i challenge you, skillz, mine 50k ess with only 3 pouches (small, medium, large). and then you can talk please. That would be like me challenging you to get 99 cook with trout, sure you can do it easily but it is completely inefficient. You can easily make more money doing different things, and you can get 10x more mining xp an hour doing granite, so that was a complete waste. Im not going to waste my time mining essence slowely, and not using my summoning to assist me. I would rather get more 99's, which you won't be anywhere near for a LONG time if you think mining essence is a good method to gain xp or money. [/hide] u didnt even ask what i did with it...half the story, half the understanding. i dont do p ess for money or exp. thats just stupid. not everything every1 does is based around money or fastest way to gain exp. i like mining, so i decided to do this. and it was a huge achievement back then. i just found out about this forum 2 weeks ago.

they shouldnt do a rollback. this wasnt that big a deal. yes, its unfortunate, but a rollback wont solve anything

ill train a skill if i want. and mining is actually very decent money in both f2p and p2p. i mine gold. ~140k an hr and i can AFK it since all i do is listen for when the pick stops picking at the rock. and its not a waste of time. far from it. if mining is a waste of time, firemaking is taking yourself to a beach and counting all the grains of sand. just because you dont have the patience (or mental capacity, evidently) to train mining doesnt mean other people are like you.
