u guys arent reading what im saying. im not complaining. im just asking who remembers when u had to go around for 10min getting everything for a quest or TT. where in this post do u get the idea im complaining about the easiness of things? if this were a complaint, itd b in the RANTS section. this is a discussion with people who remember the olden days, when things werent so easy. im not saying g/e sucks. im just saying people who joined after g/e dont understand what we, those whove been playing for a while, had to do to get a simple item.

good luck man. im going for 99 mining and eventually 99 rc. both great skills. how about a race to 99 mining? seeing as we both have the same lvl, but ur just 20k exp better than me?

i agree. im going for 99 mining because its something i like doing. call me crazy, but i actually enjoy mining granite for countless hours when i can be killing irons/steels for a visage. im not gunna choose an easier 99 to get. i feel more accomplished if i do what i want, even if its harder, and finish it.

Nah, it wasn't that good. You didn't mention pure sets, took a wrong ppot/antifire ratio, the sharks aren't needed as your hp will recover naturally, range pots should be brought when ranging and the grammar sucks lol. Not trying to bring you down, but it's not a great guide either. Anyway, you seem to be alright melee'ing them. /slightly off topic post was made for his lvl. so I wouldn't waste time writing parts for pures. what if ur running and a drag melees u? ur up will heal enuf to a safe point where u can get meleed again and not die? also remember I said "recommended", not essential

me and pmod monsterma22 went star hunting. got a lvl 4 in wildy near rune rocks. took forever (only 5 ppl there), and we got attacked by 3 revs!!!!!!!!!! he has screenie

It wasn't fun it was annoying, i'd rather have the stuff instantly. Completely agree with Skully here, I've been annoyed way too much because of items that were annoying to get. but thats what made it more rewarding. spending a measly 5min to get some item like rope or a spade. when g/e wasnt there, ud have to walk to it. and that in itself was a mini adventure and was fun

Remember, way back when, when you couldn't find anything on the forums (like molten glass), so you had to go to the Range Guild, get a glassblowing pipe, and then find a bucket and get some sand, just to make molten glass for a bull-eye lantern? Pepperidge Farm remembers. My point is, now anyone can buy stuff on the G/E instead of travelling across RuneScape to gather materials and make it. Promotes laziness IMO, and even though its convenient, it makes the game a little boring now that you can just stand there, wait for that "Duhnana Dum Dee Dum De Da" tone and get your bullseye lantern. I myself would rather take the leisure time and go around getting the stuff and who knows? I might come over some random event or get a clue scroll or something while travelling and get myself some 3rd Age or whatever. Point is, G/E makes things too easy and too boring IMO. Discuss. No flames, please. If you have nothing intelligent (supporting or not), don't post.

i would do this: either mine or buy p ess and craft nats and buy yew longs and alch. u get decent profit.

this is what u do: for melee: inventory 12 pray pot (4) 8 antifire (4) steel wc axe (u will drop this after your at drags) 875gp 1-click tele *optional* fire staff w/ nats for alching rune drops *optional* dds *recommended* 2 sharks incase u miss the "resistance to dragonfire has run out" message worn(for ur lvl) helmet: berzerker or slayer helm or dark/black mask (w/e its called) body: proselyte legs: proselyte shield: anti-drag or DFS cape: dont matter, preferrably a god cloak for prayer boost boots: dragon (recommended, as u get a str boost) gloves: barrows (recommended, if u didnt finish RFD, dragon FoG gauntlets, or cooking/goldsmith/chaos gauntlets from family crest) weapon: whip ammy: glory or better ring: wealth if u mage: inventory 18-20 antifire pots (4) runes for at least 2.5k fire bolts (idk how long it will take u to kill them all) nats for alching rune drops steel wc axe (once again, will be dropped) 875gp 1-click tele *recommended* 2 sharks (same reason) worn helmet: farseer/ahrim hood body: mystic or better legs: mystic or better shield: anti-drag or DFS cape: god cape boots: mystic or better gloves: chaos gauntlets weapon: fire staff ring: wealth ammy: glory or better ***another option*** u can wear full void to increase damage dealt if range: ***i wouldnt do it...u kinda need 80+ range for it to be effective here*** (i hate range, but this is what ive seen worn, and inventory is filled with pots since u pack lightly for range) inventory 18-22 antifire pots (4) steel wc axe 875gp 1-click tele *recommended* fire staff and nats (u kno y by now) *recommended* 2 sharks worn helm: blessed coif or karils body: black d or better legs: black d or better shield: anti-drag or DFS cape: accumulator boots: snakeskin or better gloves: black d vambs or better weapon: rune xbow ammo: emerald enchanted or broad bolts ring: wealth ammy: glory ***optional*** u can wear full void range too ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hope that helps

uhmmm.....do airs until u get to fires. then buy a bunch of duel rings and lot of rune ess. u dont wanna use pure cuz ull b losing more money. go from cwars with full inventory of r ess and fire tiara. tele using duel ring to al karhid. then run to fire altar. craft, tele to cwars, bank, repeat.
