yea ags is overrated. u pay 90m for an extra 6 dmg (on average). the spec doesn't hit that high that often. btw that comment was hilarious!!!!!!!!!!1111one!!!!!!

We all know that since the RC Guild came out, everyone has been going for 50 RC just to get in and play the minigame. But what they don't see is the actual use of RC. It's not meant to be leveled just for a minigame. It's meant to be used to make money. I bring this up because I am 92 Combat and have an RC level in the roughly top 65K highscores, and I often see 110+s with only 50 RC just to play the minigame. I've also seen high levels with an RC goal of 50. If all you're leveling up for is to play a minigame, you shouldn't even be training the skill in the firat place. I'm not sure where this goes, but feel free to discuss. My point is that JagEx nerfed RC as a skill and made it into a requirement for a minigame.

i just browsed first page but my training spot when i need cash (short of mining and crafting ess into laws since laws are once again sub-300), i go to ogre enclave (gu-tanoth) and kill blues. theres almost no one there, and most every1 is ranging the lessers in the corner.

i never really do slayer (dont get fun tasks, like blue drags), but my idea would be, if for the last like 25 u didnt get a good drop over 10k, kill the extra one, because then maybe the "drop ratio" by then would be "full" and u mite get a drop.

I've experienced this as well. I love mining, always have. so when I say, "I'm getting 99 mining!" ppl flame me for being a no lifer. why? cuz it's the one skill I love that I will do it everday till I get 99? what if I looked at ur fm cape and said (with great pleasure) nice nooby 4m cape? I don't, even though I'd love to rip them apart, cuz I guess it's something they've wanted one way or another. I don't flame u for getting the easiest 99s, so y do u flame me for getting one of the most boring, yet most respected, 99s? it's because they don't have the same determinion as I do.

good to see that rc minigame isnt bull crap anymore. u didnt get tokens for effort, and thats a waste of time. gg jagex. also, run toggle is nice, since i dont wanna click on settings > run when im using minimap to traverse the plains.

Capes i dont respect: fletch firemaking cook* (i somewhat want this because IRL i love cooking, so i mite just spend like 8m on it as sentimental value, and not wear it) Capes i respect: HP prayer con slayer herb agility smith woodcut summ (congratz 1337paintball on 99 summ today on august 19th 2008) farm runecraft mining crafting Cape that i think deserves the most respect: mining why? because theres no easy way to level. sure u can powermine granite, but u cant do that fast enough. coal is slow, gold is scarce, and iron is little exp at a time. i am currently doing nothing else but mining coal in mining guild, and thats where ill be until i get 99 mining. it takes 2months at the fastest mining over 6hrs each day, but i cant do that with school starting soon. im aiming for thanksgiving time to get 99, but i doubt it. maybe by christmas, and that would be nice. im surprised not that many people said mining. im also not surprised because no one in members does mining, which makes it more valuable.

Using the examples above it becomes painfully obvious that time is an issue as well. Not everyone purchases a year's worth of membership at a time, and in order to enjoy everything you want out of your brief time, you're going to have to do the job within a set amount of time. But if time is on your side, you could mine your own Pure Essence and craft all your own runes to train your Magic with. But really, who does that. i do!!!!! and i dont mind. i have the time. so w/e. but in reaction to this, yes, i am in the "gotta have it now" group. when i mined my 50k ess (the same ess in my avatar), i mined ess for a 3 weeks straight. i felt like i needed it, that nothing else mattered. and now, im almost done alching 15.5k yew longs with the nats i made from the ess and i have been alching for a week straight. i set goals in rs, i dont really just run around doing whatever. and though ppl may say i have no life, its cuz i am dedicated to a goal i set and what i do.

rc guild is ruining rc. even though there has been over 30m p ess sold on g/e (up about 11m since rc guild came out), the price hasnt drop drastically. (also, why are laws dropping?) i blame many factors: 1. assisters helping 2x and therefore putting more nats into the economy 2. rc guild giving p ess as a reward wayyyyy to easily 3. p ess prices are wayyy to high, thanks to g/e 4. graahks/altar tabs make rc too fast and too easy, and rc is not to meant to be a fast and easy skill. you cant make money by doing virtually nothing, thats not how it works

i hate the new rc guild, if u can even call it a guild. its only a place to hold a minigame. rc was the best money making skill before this update, but now because of tabs, prices are dropping because more runes are being produced. i have done my research, and whoever on the first page said the average trip is like 2min, u gotta rethink ur math. u dont add in the time taken to obtain the tabs, because you dont do a run like that. rc guild is: too easy to get into makes rc un profitable kills rc kills rc ruins the good rc name causes the rune prices to drop (nats are 228, laws are 291) other stuff too complicated to name and im tired.

i cant believe i almost fell for this. sum1 gave me a free yew long (u) to alch to see how much i get per alch (384). yew long u are 393. i 4got that i got my first one for free and i almost buy like 2k yew long (u)s for alching until my good friend Necrodon1 says "yew long (u) are 393, and alch for 384" lol. i dont think he was trying to scam, but i almost lost a lot of money. ty Necrodon1, narb buddy and rival 4ever
