Never played disc golf, although I have thought about it before, just never had/made a chance. The second half though is true of most hobbies though, generally there is a low entry/starting cost but you can likely spend as much as you want on it.

Exact opposite problem. Unless a deadline is looming and I have an actual assignment to do I find it hard to force myself to study for more than 40ish minutes before procrastinating for at least an hour. I think my biggest issue is just dry and boring material that I have to try and slog through. Anything interesting however, I'll study that no problem. My problem might resolve itself though as I have much more interesting classes next semester and right now I don't think I can fail any courses unless I forget everything I already have memorized.

@Major - I've considered trying adderall it at the same time I'm already broke. I think I just need millions of flashcards then because it is almost all rote memory. @Lower - Hard to do a GPA because the majority of classes are actually just pass/fail but I'm probably pulling of at least that now. Just thinking I need better habits before anything heavier hits. @Ring - Any suggestions on a good program for that? Lots of reading that I get assigned and I find it very hard to read the textbook. @Rpg - Might need to start doing that. Right now I tend to treat any between class time as social time and I can definitely see it being better study time.

As a Canadian I am severely worried about Trump being elected. How will this affect the maple syrup production? When is he building the wall? How long should I wait before WW3 begins? /s I know this could have a huge impact, however given that he doesn't even take office for another 2+ months I think that you should take a deep breath and relax until January.

I bought a trackball mouse the other day off of amazon to try out since I have less desk space now. Just received it today and I can say it is really nice and there wasn't that much of a learning curve getting used to it. Also nice is that it is designed ergonomically so it just feels much nicer in my hand.

Finally have myself settled into school and through the first week of classes. Seems like its going to be a rough semester with a lot of studying ahead, but definitely better to have the year to do the studying instead of the previous 3 months the program had. Otherwise, although its really early in a 2 year program, I already face the dilemma of what to do upon graduation. Most people I've talked to working in the field, paramedicine, say that you should grab a couple of years experience at the PCP/BLS level before moving up to the ACP/ALS level. However, one of the instructors pointed out today that if we plan to go ACP and know it we should just go straight into the program because no other profession in the healthcare field does the same thing.

Lower, I think you need to take a moment and calm down. Nothing is definite until you get results from the doctor. No need to think about moving in unless you actually want to. You may be responsible for half of the child but at the rate you are moving you'll be proposing or married before the baby is even a thing.

Seems like a pretty sucky deal on your end Lower Levelled, should be a lesson you'll never forget if nothing else. Otherwise I just got back from working for the Summer and now have exactly a week to get all my things in order so that I can move into college next Saturday with classes starting the following Tuesday. Seems like when life decides to happen it happens all at once.
