I dress well, in the sense that it doesn't have 600 rips from use, not to faded, and has no bad stains. With that being said, I wouldn't wear what I usually wear to a fancy/formal event (unless they put it as an option). I just don't go out of my way to have a certain look, so I end up in hoodies and sweatshirts most of the time. And my sweaters aren't even branded, heck one is at least 5 or 6 years old (it was bought big).

I'd check that out (tigerdirect) as it is well under your budget, and shipping at most would leave you somewhere's around $100 up, worst case scenario. Also, if you want an Alienware don't get the M11X. Playing any games on an 11 inch screen for any period of time will strain your eyes, so go up the the M14X for the bit of extra cash (worst case $200 I think). Also, the M14X has slightly better bottomline specs with the bigger screen. Sorry for using $ but I can't go accurate trying to switch to pounds, as I use $. Also, the M11x is fine and great, was going to get one myself until I started reading a bit and realised that an 11 inch screen is not worth playing games on, let alone any associated health risks.

Like you don't understand how to use them? That would be a fairly simple problem to fix if you know anyone with a geared bike. Just hop on it and ride around for a couple minutes and try different gears. You'll figure out what they do pretty quickly. You don't really need anymore understanding of them than that. Unless your using a BMX, or your a hipster, there is really no reason to limit yourself to one gear. I thought about that, so I took out my bike (which I had just stuck where it felt about right) and played around a bit, think the gears are <3: but besides that it kinda made some sense.
