Nah, you can almost always buy long guns (rifles, shotguns, and very similar) for things such as hunting and varmint control, but some places have very strict restrictions. Although sometimes I find that they seem strict and a lot of work, but once you get past the first part you end up having very little to do past registering the gun or something similar.

I think it's 18 to prevent bad stuff from happening as parents are supposed to be responsible. In the U.S. (I have no idea where Vezon lives...), it usually depends on what state you are in. In Iowa, you need to be 21 to purchase a handgun, but there aren't any permit/registration rules for rifles/shotguns. Chances are you can find out local laws/etc by just googling [state] gun laws. In Canada... You need to have a special course before buying them, be over 18 to buy it, and then register it before being able to use...

Gratz Riku, now go make some money for OT :thumbup: Been a long few days. I've been on spring break, but all I've done is work, playing my euphonium, and I've taken up a new hobby, guns. My uncle worked for Ruger gun company back in the 60s and 70s, and he has a metric shit ton of guns in his house, so I've always had access to guns and such. I've been shooting for years, but I've found a gun I've taken as my own. A simple .22 caliber rifle. It's simple, the ammo is cheap, and it doesn't cause a huge racket so I am actually going to take this up as a hobby. I've picked out a tactical .22 I want to get for my birthday. Hopefully my parents will help me pay for it. Mossberg tactical .22 Here's to hoping :thumbup: I love guns! My favorite part is the shooting, was 7 I think when I first shot a .22, now because I'm still not quite old enough to have my own .22 and need someone to take a couple of courses before I can anyway I have a little Daisy b.b. gun! Still though I love shooting stuff, long as I have the right sights though because peep sites are a pain in the <3:

Congragulations! I personally just did 38 pound (or so) resistance training, aka walking my dog which is part husky. Besides that I've been relaxing because I have to go back to school on Monday.

Well I'm a bit out of BMI scale (less than 5) but besides that I'm just out of shape.
