I think it's because it's still a shieldbow even with the bonus, so it only gets 100% of ammo damage as opposed to SSB getting 150% ammo damage.

It's still broken on abilities, because for ammo using bows/crossbows, ability damage only runs off your ammo damage stat, and doesn't account for weapon damage at all. Hex 'fix' v3 already lol

Hex is better on autoattacks now, but still terrible when using abilities lol. Also, when fighting the Kal'gerion demons, you can hide behind the rocks in the dungeon to avoid their specs - especially the annoying 5k heal.

Well you can get pretty much 100% accuracy with like +20 Magic attack, so I ended up wearing Karil's and DFS for the magic defence. It's like the game encourages you to be Green098 though :o
