200M in all Skills
Don't forget The Mummy Mishap, The Sentinel Slip-up, The Skeleton Scare, and The Zealot...er I don't have one for that. Curious, what was the skeleton one? Chinning under Ape Atoll?

I'm back! Not that anyone will remember me. :P
I remember you! You had a blog that you made pretty interesting and kept up for a few months. Think you were also the one who joined RuneScape on a bet or something :P Welcome back!

Bl∞d's blog of being bad at maxing | 2595 Total | 120 DG Dailies
Thanks, I grew them myself. I have the supplies for 2400 just lacking time a patience  Also Polar, you're probably richer than me and Jason you definitely are :P Oh it's cute you think 8m is greater than 52m. NUMBERS DON'T LIE SIR! Don't you have a small fortune from killing TDs after Asc Xbow came out? :-P key word

Anyone else remember this? Hopefully we'll get to see them sooner rather than later.

Difference between 'Power Armour' and 'Regular' Armour
Power armour works for almost everything, like Slayer, small to mid bosses (Glacors/QBD etc), and DPS roles in the bigger ones (Nex/Vorago). Normal (tank) armour is specifically useful for tanking the bigger bosses like Nex/Vorago/KK; in most other cases the extra defence/LP don't matter.

Armour Types...
I think the armour contribution is slightly different in each case. In full tetsu etc, equipping the All class onyx (i) reduces some of your block chances while raising others, whereas the Hybrid class Tokkul-Zo will raise all 3 of your block chances. This is despite the Onyx (i) having a higher armour rating than the Tokkul-Zo (27 vs 2 iirc).

I wouldn't use the word buried. Maybe "placed conveniently". I mean, to get to all the old menus, you just have to hover over an icon on the ribbon and then select them. All of the ones you use regularly can be dragged onto your screen too. Oop, forgot about those popups when I wrote this, more of meant the function key menus. But yeah that's definitely a handy change from the initial NIS alpha, though the old RS2 option stones were also great.

Maybe Zamorak has much fewer supporters than Saradomin, and an in-game balancing mechanic is allowing Zamorakian supporters to be able to contribute twice as much to even things out.

Abilities are a bit clunky atm since they changed how the targetting works, so moving back and forth between monsters is clunky. They changed monster HP bars to info bars which include HP down to the exact number, level, weakness and name. Unfortunately they are also big enough to block protection prayer icons, which makes TDs/Akrisae a [bleep] to do. Some of the old interfaces like notes/friends list/friends chat are buried deep in the menus, but you can now assign hotkeys to each of these so it's not too bad. Audio is magnificent, problem I've been having though is that the music is like 5x softer than the rest of the audio. I turned up my volume to listen to the new tracks, and then when I destroyed something useless in my inventory the exploding sound made me jump out of my chair. It's otherwise pretty okay because it can be made to mimic the old resizeable version pretty well. Oh yeah and there's some world event now where you get to shape the future of Gielinor, which involves Zamorak and Saradomin shooting each other with lasers for 10 weeks straight.

Here Cow, I can't help you which much IRL stuff but I can definitely help you get a Runescape thing done :P Teething problems and general clunkiness, especially with the action bar atm, but most should be ironed out along the way. If you have time to log in though, you should definitely listen to the new audio tracks, such as Scape Slow, Second Harmony, Medieval II etc.

200M in all Skills
Based on my 15min timing, it takes 3 hours to get 3k tears. You can do it daily. It takes 2500 tears to buy a huge lamp (which is around 65k XP). What were you doing though? Within the battlefield, there's a multiplier that slows you down as you accumulate more tears, with the last 200 taking almost forever.

This week's OSRS Poll (Placeholder Firecapes & more)
The gnomeball was going to be an antibot measure - law crafting bots would be thrown a gnomeball, and then the monks would refuse them access to Entrana because of it. Looks like the question got entirely misunderstood, or it detracted too far from the nature of OSRS.

HTML5 beta discussion
Seems to happen randomly to me too, usually minimising and maximising the action bar makes it work again, if not then loading another layout works.

Anyone keep getting a "Failed to transfer!" message that keeps them perpetually locked in the battlefield?

Since F2P Runescape no longer competes...
Rune Scimitar only became the best training weapon when RS2 was launched in early 2004, before that the Rune 2h was the best.

You make no sense... They want you to log in and immediately become immersed in the first struggle of the sixth age. Then again only a runescape player would log in and say to themselves "ohhh shiny new interface that might get my better xp rates and faster kills!" and become completely oblivious to the interesting lore they would be immersed in. I hope these players get "pillar'ed" so I can loot their graves. It's going to be cool to be thrown into the Sixth Age and straight into the Battle of Lumbridge - it's going to undeniably be an immersive experience when you have the new audio and graphics. And then you realise you have no clue how to open your inventory and get killed by a pile of imps.
