I don't see the SYSTEM RuneScape is built on changing over the years, and really, it doesn't need to. When you compare most internet games to RuneScape, you can see that when it comes to simplicity and player-player interaction (specially chat), RS pwns in all but guild/clan systems. As for JaGeX, I don't see them becoming a bigger company. Possibly if they hadn't turned corporate on us. They won't be making any really good games for a while simply because they don't ask the market's opinions any more. Newer players would be put off by all the strict rules and general unfriendliness - unless they find good friends, which is relatively hard to do when EVERYONE is a newb, I can't see as many people playing new games by JaGeX as there are Scapers. I spent about 10 minutes trying to work out why it wasn't doing anything, then realised I forgot to press function when I press numlock :wall: This is useful but rather annoying when I try to type and end up hitting numbers (laptop numpad ftl) For XP: LINK For Vista: LINK I remember about a year ago I had read a topic on the RSOF in which the author had purchased a new keyboard that had built-in key commands that you could edit, he asked if this was legal and got a response from a Jagex Moderator clarifying that it was in fact not in violation of the rules since it was not a third-party software but simply a keyboard. Does this mean that the macro that came installed on my mousepad is legal?

Actually, Jagex are always doing charity, they just don't announce it. Naming my char Dogwashere instead of Resonae (I thought I would quit after a few hours so didn't bother getting a cool name) Although that's not really a problem for me, what really takes the cabbage is the fact that I had 100k's worth of stuff without realizing it and only found out about merchanting AFTER the trade limit. Go figure.

Money equals happiness, sure, but fun equals more happiness. If I tallied up all the days spent goofing off with my friends rather than grinding, I'd probably have enough to get myself 99 mining. Why goof off? It's fun. RuneScape is fun because friends are fun. Mainly. If I had max gp... I'd probably still be doing the same stuff I normally do. RuneScape isn't in the almighty depression the author talks about... it's only a few people. Mostly members. All of my friends like to hang around with me. Yeah. That's it.
