this happened to me too. i thought it was just lag but it happened a few times with a few different puzzle boxes. last three or four puzzle boxes ive had though have worked fine.

in the other thread that was here earlier there was a huge argument about this, steels are a negative 80 gp loss. mith bars are (doing this from memory) 40 or 30 gp loss and addy bars (with all items bought at medium price) are a 1 gp loss. this is an effective way to train magic if you can smelt addy bars, and buy/gather some of your coal at the lowest price or get it yourself.

it works best if your a member when you can use a mud battlestaff. although you could make your own earths/waters/bodies or all if you want. im not sure what the best f2p method is.

im not sure, but if you browse around the most recent two or three pages on here, someone linked to a guide on how much it would cost to do it and a very thorough guide.

this only works with battlestaves which are a members only item.

put on as much equipment with the worst magic defence you can possibly get. and the varrock sewers are the best place to do it.

you just described my little sister and all ehr friends perfectly. every kid in my sisters elementary school is a chubby little kid, and they all just sit around and watch tv. my sister rarely goes outside.

ogres with iron knives if you can afford it. if not just a normal bow. thats the only method i can think of.

it's definetely worth it, but only if you woodcut often. the dragon axe in comparison to the rune axe is 15-35% faster (information i got from the knowledge base) i personally love my dragon axe . it makes woodcutting SOO much faster. one negative thing about it is that people ask to borrow it almost constantly -.-

i agree actually. thats what i did, went with no armor no food to the ones in fally and when i died just went and picked up the cash i had. this way is easy. but blackjacking is quicker xp if thats what you want. but now i should shutup cause im talking too much.

rofl. there have been at least four threads about thieving ive seen in the past two hours. seems to be a pretty common question. im not sure if dt can be potted, but get your thieving up to 45 and start blackjacking. quickest method i know of.

its also great for cutting the yews right above rimmington because theres rarely anybody there, let alone more than one person there.

i mean the god dragon hide. theyre all pretty expensive but not as expensive as a robin. just go with the cheapest one if you dont care how it looks. they all have the same bonuses.

you should just get a god coif, or a FoG coif. robin is expensive it has a nice bonus but you can get stuff close to as good as it for much less. and yes karil's armor does degrade, as do all the other barrows armor. and he said you should be above 20m in cash because its quite an expensive item and if you lose it its a HUGE loss.

the locker like a deposit box, its members only though. and you unlock it during the rocking out quest. its a member quest. comes in handy if your cutting yews down there.

if you want to make money id go with gold, or do the coal trucks. coal is decently fast xp, and is always in demand. you could also use it to get your smithing up. you dont need to go to the bank when you go to the az mines, theres a dwarf who will bank your ores (he takes 1 out of every 5 ores) in case you didnt already know this. another method of gold mining is necklaces of skills, and fally tele/teletabs. powermining works well but you dont make any money that way. iron is easy to powermine and there are many places you can powermine iron without anybody else being around, although it does get a bit lonely. if youve done dealing with the scabaras you can powermine granite without any waterskins. which is good xp. not sure what lvl most people start doing that at though. theres a mine near draynor bank where there are about 10 coal rocks 5 mith rocks and 2 addy rocks. this is always good if you want mith ores, and at your level theyre pretty quick.

you need to upload the picture to an image storing site, liek tinypic imageshack photobucket etc.. and then while youre writing your post click the button that says img on it and paste the url in between. itll say <-- put the url in between those two theres a huge guide on how to do it on one of the forums around here forget which.

kill chaos druids and only keep herbs above ranarr. if you can use a macaw that would help too. killing green dragons is another good method, sell the d hides, or sell the d hides and the bones. lessers are good xp decent drops, plus the tzhaar bank is pretty closeby. killing cockroach soldiers or whatever theyre called in the stronghold of safety is a great method, they drop alot of rune items, and theyre easy xp. mossies are always good to fight, easy to kill, decentish drops. generally not too busy on mem worlds.

harpie bugs are quick to kill, and drop crimsons gold and green charms quite commonly.
