Soon there will be a new tick in the membership benefits page. - No advertisements between changing worlds. Doesn't effect me, but 10 seconds extra for players who don't pay doesn't bother me. They could make the ads last say 30 seconds max I guess. Up to them either way.

Heard the login server went down. Stayed online until they booted everyone off. Went and did IRL stuff, came back and it was on again. RS has very low downtime and very many updates compared to many other "big" games. Just do something else while they fix the problem. not worse than that.

Liked the update. |^_^| I always use my effigies as soon as I get them, so I won't notice any difference from the change. Now to get my Comp Cape back when I go home to good internet.

Sounds like you mixed the Tetris theme and Port Sarim's theme. Strange thing is, I kind of liked it. :P

I didnt have textures/shadows on when I did the caves yesterday, so I don't know if it still happens. :unsure:

These haven't been updated. Cave Goblins Elves (though they use the player model) Goblins TzHaar (coming soon) Ogres Monkeys The list goes on to other smaller races as well like giants and so on.

My fps dropped a bit in the new area. Hope the new fix works when it comes out. |^_^|

Agreed. It has to be the best or one of the best rs tutorials. Sad it's members only, as it made me feel like a new players exploring somewhere unknown. They really changed Taverley and Burthorpe a lot, so I had to use the world map several times to find stuff. Think they did a great job with the update. Cant stand being stuck at 483 Tasks though. Cant use my cape. :(

You could take the picture with AA on, then use the point-to-point lasso tool to cut the edges. He doesn't want AA on because it leaves odd-colored pixels around the character if you just remove the background color and nothing else. If it has something to do with the transparency however, there has to be something wrong with the project file. (Being started as a non-transparency-supported file perhaps.)

Looks like Steel/Iron Dragons to me. Add to the fact that a different picture had Bronze Dragons in it with the same green-tinted cave-area. 99% sure it's the Brimhaven Dungeon. I feel it looks Cheesy and old. :P Never understood why the lava in Tzhaar Land was different then the rest of RS either. Happy it's getting updated. Was nice to have a new Dev blog as well. Haven't had one in a while now.

Really like the overall graphics of the new media pictures.
