You do realize so far the promotion has been offered once in the US, and now in the UK? Any players from countries outside these two did not have the chance to get it at all. It's been once in the UK, then went to the US, then Australia and now through GAMEwallet. I was lucky enough to be on holiday in the US when the promotion was going on. With the exchange rate, it was the same price as my discount membership price as well. :P

Doesn't affect me. Still cheap but yeah.

I noticed a slight drop like the first few weeks of the bot nuke, but now I get around 20-25 on my 4 year old desktop pc and a stable 30 fps on my 6 months old laptop.

I like how all the info they had stored on customers/developers and their code was given to Jagex. Anyone who used that bot must be worried if they tied any lines between it and their rs account.

Laughed when I read that, then carried on doing other things. Wish they would just make gambling through trust-trades against the rules.

I liked the Agility Course. Wish more agility courses were like it. Having to time jumps so you don't get hurt or knocked off.

Of course you wouldn't be surprised. Nobody would be. We already know they are making "The Runescape Olympics". ;)

Then RS would be no different than most other online games out there. The diversity of skills available without focusing on combat is part of what makes the game unique. I know. I like Runescape because of the skills and the focus around combat is what puts me off many MMO's.

Most skills could easily be replaced if Jagex really wanted Runescape to be all about combat. Herblore could be removed and potions could be sold in NPC shops. Attack and Range could be merged into an "Accuracy" Skill where all forms of weaponry (Swords, Bows and Staves) where possible to use as the level went up. Defence could be removed and replaced with a system where your armor decides your defence bonus and your combat level decides what armor you can use. Even though some skills are more useful right now then others doesn't mean they cant be made useful if some changes were made. Firemaking could be connected to fire magic. Construction and crafting could be combined to create new house items. They did this really lightly a while back with Agility helping some other skills. They need to take it to the next step however.

If there was a way for me to play RS in Single Player while saving the environment, I would certainly use it at times.

Ancient Magic spells are already expensive. No Runecrafting would increase the cost by a lot.

At Runefest they said they were not working on a new skill and wouldn't be until they fixed up the old skills.

MG got T7. They got a Vex with a Glow and Particles falling like a fountain from the top. Funny though as some others showed me a thread about some of their members wanting in-game benefits for getting T7 first and were ranting about how useless it was.

Looks cool. Looking forward to it even though every player and their mom can do it now.
