I have trouble thinking of quest lines that don't have new updates on the horizon. New installments of Elemental Workshop, Plague City, Red Axe, Myreque, Mahjarrat, Fremennik, and Fairy Tale are all known to be in development. And all the new quests this year (except In Pyre Need, which was a holdout from last year, and is more of a D&D than a quest anyway) have contributed to existing storylines, even if only tying up a few little loose ends like curing King Vargas's curse or finding out what's in the mumbling bonesack. So I think Jagex is going in the right direction. Quite a few aren't in development. Plauge City doesn't have one any time soon. I know people think it is, but it's not. The Pirate/Rabid Jack isn't in dvelopment. Penguin just had one, so it's on backburner for a bit. The desert stuff looks kinda soft. Unless tied into Mahjarrat, which is may a little, but I doubt it. Still can't get into Menaphos. Lunar Isle looks like it had more coming, but doesn't look like anytime soon. Elemental Workshop? Maybe, but I haven't heard anyone from Jagex even mention it, let alone them say they are developing it. Aprosandra, only if it's tied into the dwarves would this be considered devloped. Oh yeah, still no Archeron, or however it's spelled. The History line. Slug got tied into penguins, so they have been merged. I don't know if it's technically a quest line, but I really want a new troll quest. Actually, find the chaos elemental suitcase thread, you'll read there many quests are coming soon, one of them being plague city, elemental workshop, red axe and fairytale installments coming soon.

Dude, Kirby isn't a minor Nintendo franchise. I mean, like 13 or 14 games doesn't really seem minor. Plus at least in the Kirby games they don't rehash the same plot over and over. Plot of every [bleep]' Mario game ---------------------------------------------- Bowser or the main enemy kidnaps the [bleep]' [bleep] princess. Mario rescues her. The end. Plot of different Kirby games ------------------------------------------- Dream Land/Spring Breeze (KSS, KSSU) - King Dedede steals all the food in Dream Land. Kirby defeats him and the citizens don't starve. (Not that unique, but it was meant as a game for beginning gamers) Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland - King Dedede breaks the Star Rod into 7 pieces and gives them to the bosses to protect them. After Kirby get's them all, it is shown that King Dedede only did it so Nightmare would use it. Dream Land 2 - Kirby get's some animal friends who help him save Dream Land from Dark Matter. Revenge of Meta Knight (KSS, KSSU) - Meta Knight tries to take over Dream Land with his ship the Halberd. Kirby destroys the ship and he and Meta Knight escape. Milky Way Wishes (KSS, KSSU) - Marx makes the sun and moon fight and Kirby goes to space and summons Nova. Marx wishes to control Pop Star, after destroying the nucleus of Nova, Kirby fights Marx and Marx crashes into Nova and their head a splode. DynaBlade (KSS, KSSU) - DynaBlade is destroying the crops. Kirby fights her, only to discover she was simply getting food for her chicks. Kirby gets the chicks some apples from Whispy Woods. Dream Land 3 - I don't remember the plot. All I remember is Dark Matter is back and Zero shoots blood. Kirby 64 - Dark Matter attacks the planet of faeries and a fairy named Ribbon flies away with the crystal. The crystal breaks into crystal shards and Kirby helps her find the shards. With help from a Waddle Dee, Adeline, and a reluctant King Dedede. After getting all 72 shards you fight Zero Two. Who shoots blood. Umm, I never bothered playing the Game Boy Advance Kirby games. Canvas Curse - Don't remember the plot Squeak Squad - A gang called the Squeaks steals some treasure or some [cabbage]. Mario plots are also diferent SMB: Koopa kidnaps princess SMB2: Koopa kidnas princes, but lays traps in every corner aswell as poisoning the entire world's mushrooms, leaving only a few eatable SMB3: Koopa kids transform the seven kings, koopa only kidnaps princess in the end SMW: Koopa kidnaps all the yoshi's, mario saves them and the princess. SM64: Koopa wants cake, kidnaps princess and eats the cake SMS: Mario goes on vacation and some dude paints the city where mario is, mario is called as a plumber to clean the poo. NSBM: same as smb SMG: Koopa wants to destroy the whole world and universe with peach at his side, mario gets pissed off, destroys koopa and leaves peach in th middle of destruction in hopes of beggining a new life with rosalina, wich dumps him in the mushroom kingdom to the unhapiness of mario. See? completely diferent storylines. However Myamoto said that mario games shouldnt have a strong storyline anyways.

One of the best times i've had the pleasure to read, specially the loose ends article. Looks like Big J is going to add new chapters to old storylines (seriously, right now i'm loving jagex, for making a Mourning Ends 3 anouncement in the CE letter, as well as fairy tale 3, soul wars anouncement and elemental workshop, but OMG ELVEN QUEST^!!!!!!!!!@@@@@)

I really like the part where the druid melts and then the 3 warriors come out. Nicely done, music and sphere wise. yup saw that one a few hours ago, didnt post it didn't honestly think it was that good, but if his with that length is accepted then my 2 min 30 one should be! BTW, does anyone know how did they srput that plant near the end? Is it edited or just part of the environment?

If Star Fox avoids the FPS genre it is fine. There arn't that many shooter games (is that the genre? I'm not really sure what it is called exactly) out nowadays so it is a genre lacking in titles. With Wii Motion Plus Star Fox will be very interesting. Anyone who has done the island flying game in Wii Sports Resort will know what I'm talking about. Star fox is fine, they just need to get back to the Ship and Landmaster ONLY, avoiding the third person shooter / FPS. Kirby needs a new wii-cannon title, with a new hook (Save the power for example, and being back the combination effect from crystal shards).

In my opinion it's a large update to the construction skill, njot just a summonning room. Can someone post the pictures jagex provided to us that are relative to the update?

#-o Oh no..... Metroid Prime 3's controls were excellent. I don't see why they would be a problem in the first 2 games. Kc's right, after metroid prime 3 i can't play fps in any way other than pointer+ analog or pc, the controls are superb :thumbup: (i know metroid prime is a FPA, not a shooter)

It is actually quite a nice idea, but i don't think it will ever happen.

Granted, farming is now replaced with sailing, wich you train by harvesting seaweed on the ocean bed. I wish i had 99 slayer, the max slayer lv on runescape.

Well, my first memory of playing tv-consoles was playing Turtles in time with me friend on his SNES, we even got to the final boss! We never found out how to beat it, the words "shell shock" are still in my head.

I've lost faith in Capcom recently over the whole Resident Evil 5 DLC thing. And Resident Evil 5 in general, as it took out all the horror and is really just a pretty shooter with clunky controls. Even though the DLC is the most degrading thing i have ever seen, capcom is not just RE, it also has Megaman, wich had a 8-bit style re-ash called megaman 9, available as DLG on al systems but pc and handhelds, Street fighetr 4, they gave the rights of street fighter 2 to nintendo so they could place it on VC and Tatsunoko vs Capcom is coming to america and europe (love you capcom )

I believe I have a theoretical answer to this question. Or statement. Or whatever :| Essentially, the egg cannot come into existence without the chicken, which lays the egg. So, thinking about that, the chicken comes before the egg. HOWEVER, you must also take into account the chicken laying the egg. They, too, came from an egg, and if they weren't hatched out of an egg there would be no "new egg". So, in summation, I can safely say that the question is completely stupid. As a statement, however, it has its sentimental value ;) The egg came first. Chickens don't lay eggs. Hens do. A lot of people don't differentiate between chickens and hens (okay some people do, but essentialy that is what the question is asking). Isn't a hen a chicken anyway? yes. But hens are a breed of chicken that lay eggs. Personally if it's packaged in a store I eat it. Chicken or hen. Okay hen or egg first? I would personally say the egg because if we accept evolution the chicken is a descendant of another animal ( i think it's the junglefowel.) There may not be any sepcific point when the junglefowel becomes the chicken as it happens over generations, but when the first "chicken" was made it would have started of as an egg. This is as the chicken is just a mutation of the junglefowel genes. Definatly the egg came first, as the first chicken to be born (from that same egg) was a mutation of a previous creature, thats how evolution works, the animal who alid the egg wasnt a chicken, but what was born from it was.
