No you do not need the miniquest to get in, you just need to begin the Fairy Tale part 2 quest to use the rings.

Trust me on this. I am did 4k casts on Aviansies which have much lower defence and that only got me about 50exp per cast on avg. Doing Metal Dragons will not be as easy, they have a very high Defense compared to Aviansies therefore you WILL splash often. I would really say your going to need 6.5k casts at the very least, 8k max. Well Aviansies have a higher magic defense then Metal Dragons. In fact maging metal drag is a good option, it just gets expensive that is why other prefer to either melee or range them.

If you plan on getting a good team, get 70 prayer first. Most people won't take someone who won't be able to bless their grave. If you do slay for charms i suggest to buy Guthans to help heal with while on task. Other wise you could try camping for charms.

Waterfeind's drop rate for crims is about 85%. As for greater demons they are a pain to kill unless 127+ combat. Black Demons in the CT do have a better drop rate of Crims, but only slightly better then those in Taverly due to the recent update that was made. AS for whats best i would say get Slayer up to kill Dust Devil's and kill those. Other then that the best would be either Black or Greater Demons.

Since that one getting kinda long i might as well post here... Slightly higher stats then rune scimmy and im perty sure slayer isn't that fast i guess i just be at rock crabs for now. Well slayer isn't that fast but compared to rock crabs it great imo. At ur level most task won't be much of a problem. Also the Broad Bolts will help out when you feel like ranging other things.

Could try slayer so you can use broad bolts once you hit 55 slayer. I just used Rune weapons so idk much about the Brine Sabre.

Dags in Waterbirth use both range and melee i believe, so you have to pray one protection and have good defence against the other. There are better places to cannon though. But let me say this: If your're willing to put money down for cannonballs and a cannon, why not just buy some chins and go chinning your exp?

MTK doesn't have a set day in which you collect your items. You could check it every day and collect or you can wait a week (this is what i do). Whatever you do make sure you go back to get your approval rating back up to 100%. Also depends on how much GP you put into your coffers. You can go 90 days without getting ur approval ratings back up and your coffers will then run out.

Yews, magics are slow until 90+ from what i hear.

Get guthans until you have the charms from slayer to get 68. AFter that sell Guthans and BUY yips from the GE to use. Woodcutting is good money at 77. Maybe be better ways. If you plan on just wc then keep the hatchet and dont bother getting guthans unless you sersiously just going to slay.

is the extra prayer from the mitre worth the loss of accuracy and str? (im 99 att so i dont guess accuracy matters) and id prefer the 11 extra slah bonus of the rune defender, but ive never been there so yea... :oops: If you don't have a trimmed skill cape its best to wear a Cloak. Zammy or Sara cloak will work. If you kill the sara mages you need a sara item. IF you kill the zammy mages kill them in the Zammy area and just wear a holy symbol and drop it once you get in the fortress. Defender would be better for attacking. Prayer bonus will make you stay there longer. Accuracy is always nice to have, I'm 99 attack and i find a defender to still be great. also Barrow gloves would be better if you can get.

I just think its kind of pointless as if you're going to look at someone's stats when you can look at the high scores. But thats just me.

Well imo pieing isnt worth it. I pied at 80 slayer and only got 1 pair of boots. I think its a waste of time and would be better to just get the level them camp if you like. But i also frown upon campers. If people see you camping and pieing get ready to get flamed. If you do camp then i suggest you kill the sara sp mages that are getting attacked by other monsters. This will save money on prayer pots.

Only if you want. It seems like it would help with the attack/str boosting prayers or the protection prayers. And for the def, you could get it to 40 and make it a rune pure. I don't know much about pures or pvp so take my advice with a grain of salt.
