  1. ^ Very good idea. Alternatively, there's the barbarian pub in world 2, kills go by quite fast if there are lots of pures.
  2. Alching. Alching to 94 isn't bad. Just do something else to take breaks, or do it meanwhile alching, like farming herbs.
  3. 40 def ... you'll need some more strength and attack levels since you have the def :\ hopefully you did dslayer.
  4. My first "good" run at waterfiends. I got very lucky with the drops ^^ Normally I'd run back with less than 40 crimson charms. [hide=setup]Equipped Helm: Slayer Helm Torso: Karil's Leathertop Legs: Karil's Leatherskirt Shield: -- Boots: Dragon Boots Cape: Magic Cape(t) Gloves: "Barrows Gloves" Ring: Lumbridge Explorer's Ring Weapon: Verac's Flail Inventory 2x Bunyip Pouch 2x Super Attack Potion 1x Dragon Mace 1x Prayer Potion 1x Games Necklace 80x Swallow Whole Scroll 12x Pineapple Pizza ^ That was something I posted on my clan's site for waterfiends miniguide :P And that ppot was for the skeletons that popped up when you rummaged through bones.[/hide] -> (I used runes to cast 'Charge' just for the xp :D)
  5. ^ Normally crimson pouches.

DFS more if you love hunting dragons, training slayer or farming hard hitting monsters, BGS if you love GWDing or just finishing off that slayer task. Personally I think both aren't worth it. If you're willing to buy one, save for SGS, or even AGS. Though the godswords are terribly slow to compensate for their tremendous attack, strength and prayer bonuses. Then take the DFS, its defense bonuses are very nice with a hefty strength bonus, but a rune defender has 2 less strength points but compensates with +20ish attack bonuses.
  7. Could You Go From Riches to Rags? <-- very interesting! I'd like to see the people who used to bash my ol' untrimmed fletching cape to read it :P :ohnoes:
  8. Untrimmed slayer by far. Though recoils could help, untrimmed HP is much more easier since you get to pick your own monsters.
  9. I think it was around the Easter Event of 06. Didn't do the event though :P
  10. as f2p? But anyway, I used a combination of alchemy from lumby ring as well as the normal high alch spell. I barely was able to alch 1k an hour, it was around 700? The fastest way as free-to-play though.
  11. Maybe, but they do sell quickly.
  12. That was funny enough for me to take a screenie of it so people can still read when the thread is locked/hidden/eaten by the page 51 monster \ [hide=Big image!][/hide] Haha! That's one of the funniest threads I've ever read on RSOF  Although, to me, one of the funniest posts by him was on page 4. I decided to screenie it in case no one saw it: Probably the best reply to an insult I've read! :D LMFAO
  13. If you're still looking for money via melee, you might want to pick a more consistent monster or a monster with definite drops that you can sell off, like green dragons.
  14. If you're asking about something to merchant with the money you have now, I'd avoid trying to until you had 1m+ so you could buy trimmed/god rune armors. Those are the ones really you should watch. If this account is still fishing, fly fish to about 60, then lobster fish. It's relatively fast gold for experience. Alternatively, there's mining iron ores with rune pickaxes.
  15. I've gotten a drac visage going from 50-81 slayer, and no dragon chains.
  16. Battlestaves are good too, better if you make your own.
  17. 1. --- 2. I normally craft 1k-1.3k with law runes. If you craft nats, it should be faster since you can bring edgy tele, or house tele stuffs. 3. Terribly low. I went through 7+ tasks of 100~200ea with no drops.
  18. You can do it. Melee would be slow, but your mage and range are enough for it alone. *I maged ALL the brothers when I first did barrows btw, and only had trouble with Ahrim*
  19. I think you should look up a couple of vids. A lil note, when I was on the 360s, I never flicked prayer off. D: EDIT: Whoops, same link :D
  20. Those three are the best. Cursing is 29xp each, and you can continually curse (of course, it's not automatic) at the magic dummies at lumbridge. Alching is 65xp each, and if you alch "good" items, you'll lose close to nothing. I lost about 8m to 99 doing a combination of two item alching while I was f2p. (Yes I know you want 85, but I didn't start extensively alching till 88+). Then finally, Superheating mith ores is about 50 or so magic xp and 30 smithing. Not bad, eh?
  21. You don't know how many people I've traded in waterfiends by doing that.
  22. I'm just wondering how mage becomes blue. White and black makes sense, like white mages and black mages, but aqua ones? The woodcutting one matches almost completely as compared to the fletching one. Where do you see yellow arrows or green feathers? D:
  23. How's it that low? Through the abyss you can get 42 runs per hour, 61 ess per run is easily over 2k. Ghraak runs are 55 seconds each I believe? I used a couple of charged glories (before I learned how to mount one D:) and dramen staff method. Only lightness boots, and no running speed recovs. The last time I did it this way, I had like 40 agil too. And thanks, that sounds about right :D thanks
  24. Mining by far. Slayer is luck and hunter is ridiculously overcrowded at peak hours and peak points.
  25. Was that by the same method, or by abyss? I remember making about 1.2k laws per hour using abyss..
