  1. Was no doubt in my mind. They are easy to create, easier to maintain, and risk-free to use. Tempting... Isn't it. ;P. I have no problem with the average player trying out a bot. They aren't affecting anything. It's the companies who run hundreds and hundreds of bots in each server, each minute. I don't think these everyday players are botting for GP. They're botting because they have goals. Jagex's terrible grinding system makes some of these goals seem almost impossible. RuneScape is fun... For high levels. People don't want to spend countless boring grinding hours to be able to have that fun. Why would people bot for GP? Unless they've got 100 bots running at once, there's nothing profitable to actually bot that would result in 200K/night. These companies with thousands of bots running at a given moment are ruining the game. But, then again, it depends on how you look at it. Someone getting 99 Smithing gains huge from the flock of Aviansie bots. A legit player doing Aviansies to up their range... Loses out. One solution, which won't fix prices, is instanced training. Make every tree similar to tree patches in farming. Cut yours down, it's gone. But for the other person who's not cut that yew spot, he still has a tree there, or an adamant ore, etc. And they program their bots to look for certain items, certain sets of pixels, and voila, there they go cutting through the forest like a cannonball on fire. It's an idea, but personally i don't think it'll stop the bots, apart from the most simple ones with fixed clicking points. But those are outdated anyways, so i heard Not to mention the in-game space needed for 100k yews to grow, etc etc etc
  2. the amount of bots in karamja seems to have gone down significantly, what the heck happened? did jagex make some update the owners struggle to program against? or are they actually doing something about the bots on purpose? Either way, there goes my fun evening bot bot slaying in Karam...:P
  3. If that were possible, i'd be the first in line to apply for being your ammo carrier :P What we need is not 1 M2 Browning, we gotta sweep the whole world with a friggin flamethrower-equiped division OT: In my humble opinion, I still think they should remove Free trade asap, they've clearly proven nable to stop the bots, which they promised they would It would not only effectively stop the bots, but it's also a good protection against scammers
  4. why are item prices still displayed as minimu, market and maximum, while there are effectively no more min and max prices
  5. I for instance craft them, cause earth with gloves is pretty much the fastest F2p rc xp. now all i gotta do is cut through my supply (around 70k ess left of a 90k load) and hope in the mean time prices rise so i make a crapload of cash:P i'm useually accompanied by several other crafters/bots in any random world, so i suppose that's aalso a major factor
  6. How about if we just remove free trade, that'll fix a large part of the problem. Jagex have clearly proven they are unable to handle the bots and therefor the cons are far greater than the pro's no free trade means it's very hard to transfer gains from bots to other accs, hence making it a lot more difficult.
  7. Am I the only one who noticed the huge increase in cape prices (see GE centre) Another example of our lovely free trade........
  8. Just a reminder, guides such as the chaos elemental slaying guide need their revenant part updated
  9. Then click the Tip Me! button to be tipped on how many monsters to kill! to reach the next level in the skill you selected I think it would be better if it said something like "...to reach the level you selected" since you can not only select the next level as your target but any level above your current
  10. needs updating, ring 4 is not yet mentioned
  11. hello, just in case, can I remind you that the revenant gudie needs updating
  12. In the magic skill guide, I think the necklaces you can buy as Dungeoneering reward are not mentioned, while they are some of the best mage necklaces in F2p
  13. all the air-based spells in the magic guide are called Wind ...., just like in the rs spellbok, but the surge version is called air surge in the guide.
  14. In the Firemaking skill guide, under the heading pyreships, several logs are dark coloured, I assumed because those are F2p to cut or burn? However, the eucalyptus log is F2p coloured in the pyreship section, and P2p coloured in the normal logs section above.
  15. in the Revenant hunting guide a setup is shown under the heading "Survival - easy when prepared" I assumed the picture shows the ideal setup, but it shows (as far as I as F2p can tell) a Soul Wars cape while the text speaks of the fire cape, or as secondary the God Cape. Crew Edit: Moved to the main Website Updates & Corrections forum. ~Juhniz
  16. under armour: a rune platebodt instead of a platebody and under weapons: a rune long sword instead of longsword
  17. and then now the today released other dungeons all over Runescape, which can be entered with a certain dungeoneering lvl. See the dungeoneering skills tab in-game for the levels etc
  18. on beforehand, these are only F2p methods, P2p probably have faster things i don't know about personally I use silver to train crafting. you get 52,5 xp per tiara. If you have the money to buy a large load of silver this trains very fast. prices from tip.it website d.d. 14-7, 14:35h west european time silver ore: 334gp (Ge) silver bar: 338gp (Ge) tiara: 24gp (Ge) (high alc 60) for exact numbers on how much of each you need, refer to the tip.it crafting calculator.
  19. Is it just me, the time of day, or is the ice dungeon map missing. You know, that cave you can enter on the southern tip of the peninsula in asgarnia, to the south of Falador
  20. For the guard key room, I'm not certain if it's already known, but it's a room that can be solved by F2p.
  21. silver trains much faster than gold and it's cheaper. making 1 silver tiara takes you just as much time as making a gold ring or amulet and a iara gives you 52.5 xp each
  22. the Thzaar caves fight pit speaks of the island Karamaja. Thanks! This has been corrected - TheLeonardo
  23. Hi, I am not sure if this is the right forum for info on dungeoneering rewards, but I couldn't find a better one quickly and I don't have much time at the moment :) I noticed the following while mining coal. the coal in your coal bag doesn't add up to the total weight of stuff you are carrying. I had 3kg when i entered the mining site, and i still had 3kg when i had 27 coals in the coal bag. Of course the additional coal in you inventory does add weight like normal. sebas379
  24. I spotted a level 45 Hydra, which I believe is a level not yet mentioned in the bestiary. I Couldn't find the bestiary topic quickly and have little time so I thought I'd post it here so at least it's known
  25. I ran into a door called a "Liquid Lock Door". The only option you get is add-compound, but when I try this it says "you are unable to unlock this door". Up to now I haven't figured out what to do with it or to it. It might be members-only, but I am F2p. I ran into this door once up to now, at level 39 dungeoneering on floor 13 (complexity 6). Who knows wether I can do something to it, and if I can, what?
