  1. You're in the definite minority then. Most people would love the opportunity to take the junk items in their bank (like unstrung bows, summoning scrolls, etc.) and turn them into tons of money. And it doesn't screw up the economy; the demand is higher than the GE price can rise, so people use junk trades to match that very high demand.
  2. Can you not access it with fairy rings before doing the quest?
  3. "Crush" weapons. Warhammers, staves, maces, granite and obsidian mauls are all examples of blunt weapons; they don't have a bladed edge.
  4. Nice job wasting three posts without actually bothering to explain why the construction level isn't necessary. . . . . Anyway, in world 31 people with high Construction levels have house parties in Yanille, and allow others to come visit their house and ooh and aah over the fanciness. You can go in and use their altar to get the maximum prayer experience without having to build your own altar.
  5. +1 to Ray's comment on Defenders. Unless you're fighting dragons, scrap the DFS and go pick up a rune defender. Yes, you have to work a bit to get it instead of buying it instantly with money, but its attack bonuses and strength bonus are much better than the Dragonfire Shield.
  6. However, Sumona gives plenty of cannon-able tasks, which can be nice for quick slayer experience.
  7. If you're going to use an obsidian maul, you should get an obsidian necklace to boost the power of obsidian weapons.
  8. Aviansies. Seriously, you're not going to find a better money maker than them. As for guides, just go to Archive of Wisdom -> General Guides, or just look around this forum, there's always a topic here about what to wear to tank them. Don't go with the Prayer method at Aviansies, it's too expensive in terms of prayer pots and with 92 range you should have no problem quickly killing them with a rune c'bow. Do you have 55 slayer? If so, use broad bolts, since they are far cheaper and more effective. If not, use mithril for the time being and work on training slayer.
  9. Simple, go kill stuff. Same as any other attack stat. Basically, go get a whip, go run around and do some quests, then go find a monster like bandits or fire giants that's relatively easy to kill. Fire giants are harder but drop much better loot. Pick your poison, go there with your best weapon, armor, and food, and kill until you're out of food. Rinse and repeat.
  10. Fastest is red chins, however it's almost guaranteed to be out of your price range. What's your current range level and how much time and money are you willing to devote to gaining 99 range?
  11. It's actually Bob Barter (herbs) who decants. I'd skip the p essence and flax in favor of killing green drags, preferably with a bone c'bow to get a boost on range training, and selling the hides and bones. It actually gains experience that way.
  12. 500k?? I never walk around with more than 50k if I can help it, at most. I bank gold in 10k increments. I'd try bones/hides from green drags, or ranging blue drags. Have you got full void yet? If not, go play Pest Control and work for it, you'll earn a fair bit of money there as well (it doesn't seem like much, but it quickly builds up, plus it helps you get your void as well), or try NPC trading like selling harpoons, vials, etc.
  13. Do Rune Mysteries. It's necessary. Go play Fist of Guthix and get some air gloves, if you want to speed things up even faster. Go craft until you can do earth runes. Once you can do earth runes, switch over to earth runecrafting using the gloves from Fist of Guthix for the extra experience. At lower levels, runecrafting is very fast, it only gets slower at higher levels. Mine is low simply because I'm too lazy to get around to training it, but I got my current levels in only a short period.
  14. Yes, a quick way to get points is to use a lower leveled slayer master to quickly burn through assignments, then using the highest level that you can to get lots of points on the reward task. Even faster is to use Mazchna, the Canifis master, since he gives even easier assignments at 1 point each.
  15. Good choice, since they're cheaper you can always return and earn the money for them quickly once you're armed with your whip
  16. Greens really aren't that much cheaper than blues... Blues are the perfect balance of xp and cost in my opinion, or maybe black bodies, never cared to check because I can't make those  You could use clay needles maybe? and noone throw in that garbage on whether or not playing the mini game is worth it. If you enjoy it (like me) and have 600ish points collecting dust(also like me) then it is a positive influence. And while playing the game may not let you save on time, it will definitely help you save on materials! The biggest negative aspect is the cost, and since you gain more experience using the SC needle, it will lower the number of hides you need and thus the bottom line cost will go down.
  17. Exactly. Expect a bonus every 10 tasks, with larger bonuses on number 50, 100, etc. By the way, Vannaka gives 4. I'd recommend using at least Chaeldar in Zanaris (gives 10); her tasks aren't really harder.
  18. +1, weapon is a lot more useful than armor. You can usually get away with lower leveled armor if you've got a nice weapon, and the whip you'll be constantly using all the way up through level 99 in melee stats.
  19. They drop a decent supply of blood and death runes.
  20. Okay, just making sure. :D
  21. Please don't make multiple posts when your first is still on the front page. It makes you look impatient and childish. As for training, consider training with protect melee at gorillas on Ape Atoll, Armored Zombies with the salve(e) amulet, or any other low-defense monster, such as fire giants.
  22. Just to be certain, you've got a black mask, right? It's the main thing for speeding up training.
  23. Cheapest smithing method would be to gather everything yourself. Iron ores -> iron bars w/ Ring of Forging -> iron knives with Stealing Creation hammer for profit.
  24. If you just want some side experience, I'd go with bolts/blasting instead of just alching. More fun, at least.
