  1. If you plan on training Strength a lot (like into the 90s), a sara sword might be worth the extra money. If you just want a couple quick levels, just get a scimmy instead.
  2. Consider getting a prayer level for Piety (are you close?) and train with piety/melee protect at ape atoll monkeys, or possibly do Armored Zombies.
  3. Barbarian is very fast, although there's no profit/reward. Shilo village fly fishing is also very fast, and you can bank your catches. Monkfish are also quite fast, but they produce the highest profit. I would recommend to go with a mixture of barbarian and monkfish, for a good balance of profit and experience.

    BH!

lol rogue? Rouge you put on your face.
  5. Head over to the MTA and work on getting the Bones to Peaches spell or some infinity robes. If you are worried about money loss, keep in mind that infinity robes can be sold for a decent price to recoup some of the cost. Don't do the teleportation, it's the worst exp in the Arena, but enchanting is very fast experience and the alching is basically high alch for points.
  6. I think not. i think so. Agreed. With Broad Bolts and a rune c bow, it makes it nearly worthless. No, it still has some uses. For example, running around all the time with Ava's Accumulator gives me a large amount of steel arrows. Steel arrows with MSB from a safe-spot at fire giants earns me some very decent exp/hour, especially, with full void. It's a cheap alternative to crossbow bolts if you've accumulated large arrow stockpiles over time. It's also a very fast method of dealing damage, especially with its special.
  7. We have a sticky at the top of the page for this. Just leave a post there and take a look at other people who have recently posted on that thread.
  8. A helpful tip: You need the Banshee Scream to get through the gateway (obtained by killing a Mighty Banshee). Get the banshee scream, go back and restock and heal up, then re-enter to have a full inventory of food when proceeding to the boss fight.
  9. There is an "Ultimate MTA guide" on the front page of the AoW. Read that if you want to get the spell yourself, but it's going to be a long time to earn it. It's much easier to go to the GE and buy some Bones to Peaches tabs. You DON'T need the spell in order to be able to use the tab. If you just want to kill some Aviansies fast, it's much faster to simply purchase the tabs.
  10. Damaged armor can be repaired in a player-owned house, yielding a random piece of armor, of any type, in return. It's pretty much just droppable junk though. I'm not sure on the dig site quest, but if you're having too much trouble you can purchase charcoal from the general store in Ardougne.
  11. Yep. Farm the highest level thing you can in allotments, although watermelon seeds are so expensive that they're not worth it if you're buying the seeds. Baskets of strawberries are useful for healing, too, once you get up to them. Farm marigolds for profit. Don't worry about protecting your allotments, just pay the farmers if you're worried about them (FARMERS TAKE NOTED PAYMENTS). Marigolds are cheap seeds and 3k each, so they'll pay for most of your farming costs. Farm the best herbs you can, basically. Ranarr and Toadflax can be grown for a profit when the seeds are bought off the GE and the herbs are sold on the GE. Remember to use supercompost! If you need some supercompost materials, head to Catherby and buy Arheim's daily stock of pineapples. The majority of your experience will come from trees. I'd stick with oaks/willows as much as you can, since the seeds get more and more expensive as you go up in tree quality. If you plant a willow tree, be sure to use your secateurs to trim branches from it before cutting it down, since willow branches can earn you a few thousand on the GE as well. Finally, be sure to use the magic secateurs from Fairy Tale, Pt. 1 for everything! The leprechauns will store them for you in place of normal secateurs, and they boost your yields by 10%, giving you extra allotment experience and the occasional bonus herb. Also, if you're in between farming runs and don't have much else to do, select the "teleport" option on the leprechaun nearby to play Vinesweeper. Once you hit level 40, you can trade in Vinesweeper points for farming experience at a 1:1 ratio. As soon as I hit level 40, I had level 45 waiting for me with a single Vinesweeper points exchange click. It's very useful if you only need a couple hundred more experience points for a level.
  12. How about training to 70 and then switching over to yews? Yews earn much more profit than willows, even though the cutting time is much slower. 200 exp per log isn't bad either. To top it all off, there are plenty of places with both multiple yews and a nearby bank. Getting 99 woodcutting will still be horribly slow, but at least you'll have a much better secondary product to show from it. Willow logs are 18 gp each, yews are ~800 last time I checked. Also, if you later plan to raise fletching, you can profit by crafting yew longs and alching them, while willow longs are only good in gigantic numbers for junk trades.
  13. I'd say  on steel drags, the profit is iffy and unreliable and there are much better/faster ways of earning experience and money. And don't bank on getting a visage drop. Might as well go farm level 2 men for the left half of the dragon shield.
  14. Very very long, how's that for an answer? You still need about 12.5 mil experience, right? And woodcutting willows and banking in Draynor earns at most about 30k exp/hour, I'm pretty sure. So: 12,500,000 divided by 30,000 comes out to be about 417, so roughly 417 hours, or about a year and two and a half months at 1 hour a day. If you're members, might I suggest some (much, much) faster methods? The best would be to do the Monkey Madness quest and cut/drop mahogany on Ape Atoll. It's random free, and you can easily get much higher experience rates than you will with willows. And willows are crap for junk and worthless for anything else, anyway. Final summary: It will take you forever. Find a faster way.
  15. Armored Zombies are great if you've got the Salve(e) ammy and you've started the Defender of Varrock quest. They can give up to 190k exp/hour (I'm fairly sure on that number), and a consistent profit. There are a few guides in the AoW on them, too - I believe that a good one is on the first page of the general guides.
  16. Yep, that same gang affiliation carries over. That's why you need two people for it. If you're having trouble finding someone who's a member of the opposite gang, be sure to check and post in the sticky at the top of the Help and Advice forum, where there's a constantly active list of everyone seeking a partner for the quest.
  17. Fishing monks, green dragons, aviansies . . . you know, boring and repetitive tasks that earn large amounts of money. Killing green drags might be decent if you need to lay your hands on some money because it will also put at least some mediocre experience towards your melee stats as well.
  18. I personally supplement my agility training with penguin points, they really help with the medium levels.
  19. Volatile tools change into random tools, and you can't select for which skill it goes. It does give slightly more experience than the regular morphic tools. In my opinion the volatile tool isn't worth it, especially if you're going to be training a specific skill with it. If you just want to try some of everything, consider the volatile tool, but if you're getting the tools to raise a specific skill (as you probably ought to be), just go with the morphic.
  20. I've found that an excellent way to gain smithing experience and not lose money is to smelt iron bars with Rings of Forging, and then use the Stealing Creation hammer to turn them into iron knives. You gain smelting + double smithing experience, and the knives actually sell for a profit on the GE. It's decently fast for gaining levels and makes a profit, which can then be invested into gold ores for smithing with goldsmithing gauntlets.
  21. Yes to rune pickaxe.
  22. Good, but don't use ring of wealth, use ring of life instead. It might save you if you lag, and since bars aren't considered a rare drop, the RoW actually slightly decreases your profit. You end up with more key halves, but that simply shortens trip time.
  23. Editing how? More complex than simply pasting the screenshot into paint and erasing names/cropping?
  24. You can cut the opals/topaz/jade for some crafting experience, and turn them into bolt tips to keep them stackable, but they aren't profitable and bolt tips don't sell, since the bolts aren't worth much. Don't bother.
