  1. Greetings all, I am currently lvl 115 combat (melee). Trying to level up attack (-> 85), and defence (->>~95). Many people have suggested training on Ankous and Armoured Zombies, I was wondering whether there are any other creatures to train on. I don't really mind profit, just enough to pay off the potions and food (though I have Guthan and Enhanced Excalibur). Also any suggestion on armour to be investing on, if I fight these creatures, with around 7-9 million budget. My current set of armour include: Helm of Neitiznot, Slayer Helm, Guthan Set, Verac Skirt, Karil Set, Dragon Platelegs, Dragon sq shield, crystal shield, Dragon Boots, RFD Barrows Gloves, Amulet of Glory, Salve Amulet (e), Rune Defender, Abyssal Whip, Dragon Scimitar and Saradomin Sword. Any suggestions and advice welcome:)
  2. I think best way to farm is plant best trees you can. You can also grow limpwurt + kwuarm for super str (for herblore), or i grew ranarr + limp, sell them both for other ones (with better exp per gp) if you want to minimise loss. For mining, I would suggest mining iron ores with sacred clay pickaxe. This way, if you buy coal and make steel bars, then steel platebodies with Sacred Clay hammers, you can level smithing as well. Since iron is fairly fast and easy (and they cost ~170gp ea), while coal is slightly slower (~190gp ea, i.e. 380gp per bar), you would probably minimise your loss while saving time as well. Time you spent on mining the coal can be better spent on mining iron ores. Sorry that's all I can think of for the moment.
  3. Thank you all for generous advice, I will just stick with steel bars.
  4. Greetings all, I am currently at lvl 69 smithing, and is smithing steel bars. Aiming for 80 smithing. Was wondering whether cannonballs are worth the time for their exp (and cash). I still earn a decent amount of cash from the steel bars as I mine the iron and buy the coal. Any suggestions or advice are welcome.
  5. The release was indeed a little obscure. It's a nice little feature. Just being able to keep track of my own progress, game time, etc. And being able to see recent activities of my friends. Perhaps a new blog-like section for players to enter a journal-sort of stuff, to enhance the 'Log' style of the feature.
  6. Greetings all, I was just wondering what does a Zamorakian Spear really do? I was trying out the weapon speed and accuracy and it would have turned out to be worse than the abyssal whip with rune defender. If using for its crush attack, why not use dragon battleaxe or guthan warspear (if prefer 2h)... And for controlled option, abyssal whip seem to work better too. For stab attacks, why not use the one handed leaf bladed sword with rune defender? Special attack, same as dragon spear, cannot be poisoned and pretty useless outside of PvP and CW. And slash attacks, surely Saradomin Sword or Abyssal Whip + whatever shield/def, would have done a better job... And the slight prayer bonus would not make much of a difference... So, when should I use my Zamorakian Spear and what should I use it for? All suggestions are welcomed.
  7. I agree too, merching clans frequently spam the screen especially in world 2 GE. I hate price manipulators, their conducts are unethical, i.e. the leaders pre-buy stocks before they announce to their clans, and then sell them before they ask them to dump their stock, so to maximise their profits, disregarding other players. Besides, those who don't merch (like me), cannot buy what they need, say for example for level requirement for a quest etc. (Look at iron ore) Or to buy a weapon for slayer tasks or just for training combat, (Zamorakian Spear and Guthan). I think Jagex should do something about price manipulation and the fluctuation of prices like sharemarket. In my opinion, this is an unwanted consequence (general inflation) from an unwanted update (GE), and i think something's better to be dealt with soon, before things escalate.
  8. 1: Price Manipulators - cc become stockbrokers, commodities and items become stocks and GE becomes the stockmarket 2: Grand Exchange - see above 3: Buyable Skills - what's the point apart from the cape? 4: Autoers/bug abusers/macroing 5: PvP System
  9. Thank you all for the suggestions, perhaps i will stick with bronze knives for the time being.
  10. Greetings all, I am currently at 70 ranging, planning to get ~85. I am currently using bronze knives fighting orges. I am just wondering whether crystal bow or rune xbow with broad bolts will work better than knives; and what sort of creatures should I be training on. Any suggestion? Thanks.
  11. Oh, i see, thank you all, I got there, thanks again:)
  12. Greetings all, i was just wondering how to get access to Fairy Nuff after completing Fairy Tale Part II, because of a clue scroll (lv 3). I have tried entering the code that you use during the quest to get to the queen chamber without succeeding; and the fairy was not around the slayer master or the godfather nor in her compartment northeast from the Lost City Bank. Could someone help me please?
