An unorthodox solution I've come up with to get money in the past few months is this: You see I have a friend who's terrified of reading out stuff in front of the class in college and that, he really gets all nervous about it. And since I'm with him most of the lessons, every so often the teacher'll tell us to do a powerpoint and show it to the class. So he pays me £5, and I do all the talking for him 8-)

Americanisation is a bigger influence on a culture than the monarchy, so I don't see what she acomplishes there. While I think democracy is a generaly bad idea, inherited power--even in a ceremonial sense--is not the way to go. A strong Government needs to be chosen on genuine merit, not on blood or popular appeal. She doesn't really do much within the government so it doesn't matter. And though Americanisation is a problem (yeah I said it), I think if we didn't have the Queen, it would be moreso of a problem. I mean, when I think of London I want to think of Buckingham palace, the guards that don't move, red buses and all that Jazz not... well... nothing.

I'm off to bed soon but I just want to say how much I get. I do nothing and get £5 a week from my grandparents (parents too poor =/) and I'm 17. I get £2 a day for dinner at college but sometimes I have to pay for that myself out of my own dwindling money, my mum and dad owe me about £60. At 14 I was on about £3 a week and I'm a lazy arse so I did nothing for money. Lemonade stand? It works in cartoons... Say 'No, how about you give me suchamanydollars rather than buying me something', try not to fall into the trap. Negotiate your own terms. Fight, WIN!

My general feeling is up to G/S/C all great... after that it goes further and further downhill. Crystal is my personal favorite game... My first ever Pokemon game.
