  1. I have to agree with Rapono on this one. It really didn't feel like much attention was put into this event (I'm not talking about quest here), I found it incredibly easy, and short. Sure, I'm very much grateful for the nice reward and all, but this Christmas event didn't seem very fun, exciting, or inviting for that matter. What's so great about having to go on a random "hotter/colder" hunt for Jack, then sift through a bit of dialogue and watch your character go all pyromaniac on Santa frozen be-hind. You played no active role in the process apart from moving your character to a white patch on the map, in which you were guided to by a snow-imp with a ugly, yet funny looking face. Not one of the best from Jagex, but hey, easy/quick free Santa Outfit right? :) ---- The quest on the other hand, well that was fairly decent. At least this was challenging to some extent, I did find the reward to be a bit on the week side though XD \ !! Happy Christmas All !! \
  2. I think what you will be wanting is something like Adobe Dreamweaver for the actual coding of the website, and using Adobe Photoshop for the graphics. I've got to say though, I am a bit confused about what it is exactly your looking to create? I mean the navbar in Runescape is more than likely constructed with CSS, along with most of the other elements on the page. This tied in with tables (which you can visually set-up in Dreamweaver) and xml for the content updates, will pretty much get you where you want to go. Pretty much you will need Graphic/Web Design/Game Coding skills to set all this up. As for tutorials for Adobe Photoshop, well it's as simple as typing it into Google. The joy about graphics is that you don't need to follow a designated "frame" tutorial, but rather look at some other pieces of work, and incorporate ideas into what you are looking to achieve. 3. Hey all, and forgive me if this has already been posted. But yeah, I was looking at the recent update and saw this new "Planned Future Releases" section at the bottom of the Falador Achievement Diary news article - I have never seen this before, please correct me if I am wrong. [hide=Image][/hide] I had a look around some of the other news articles and couldn't find that anywhere either? I definitely think this means the release of the sailing skill somewhere in the near future. But yeah, anyone think what it could be? Is it tied in for use in later updates, or could we expect to see some planned future releases, popping up in the Falador Achievement Diary news? (Which makes no sense to me what so ever...)
  4. That sounds horribly inefficient. Like everyone else said, I'd go with Yanille. Normally empty... so have fun with those rocks :)
  5. Stealing creation is a bigger update than the first grandmaster quest ever ? My bad, saying "Highlight of this month" was an exaggeration, however don't you think it's a bit bigger than some funorb/payment updates? The fact its being knocked of the main lists by those is what surprises me...
  6. Great... To be honest I don't think this should come under "featured news" I mean, Stealing Creation which is supposed to be a highlight of this month, has been bumped of the main lists by some Funorb/Jagex being good Samaritans. Believe it or not, I'm paying to see updates in this game, not Funorb o.0 I don't mind Jagex trying to push forward/advertise their other ventures, they are a business after all. But when it starts to become more visible than something they just included into the game, it seems to me they have their priorities the wrong way round.
  7. I heard that they can catch you as macro'ing for clicking on the same pixel a whole bunch of times? (Like place the cursor on a tele, and then use the mouse key) Well what about the touch pad on laptops? Because I can pretty much move the cursor to that same point, and keep clicking without having it move a pixel. Now that I think of it, that could lead to a false ban right?
  8. I use www.interfacelift.com myself. It has a lot of high quality work, and you can get the wallpaper in a variety of screen resolutions.
  9. I love HD for this reason XD Really has made it a whole bunch easier playing the game with the resizeable window, either having it real small for some tasks (tele training) or wide for others (fishing/banking). Being able to play it on a 22" screen my end, has made it useful for those repetitive tasks, Lowering the amount of times I need to click to get back to bank etc. Only downside for some is, that it requires a certain set-up/computer spec in order to play like this, which kinda can be seen as an unfair advantage to the game.
  10. Oh right XD (again my bad I figured that was aimed at me) Awww thanks highlanders :) Ok... this topic can really be closed or left to die now... :P
  11. Did I do something wrong yet again? I really see no spam/flames in this thread... Just a whole bunch of posts based upon another topic other than I had originally intended :D
  12. My bad... I always figured an Avatar to be the image under my Username... What with this being a forum and all XD
  13. I'm guessing FN is me? If so I kinda fail to see the pervy side of a Gas Mask? lol :)
  14. To keep updating members. I'm not joking, It must be some sort of incentive to keep seeing Members get updates numerous times a month, and being able to read about what is available to them if they pay the price. Not only that but the entire "restrictions" seen in F2P compared to P2P, I guess, would all account as an incentive for people to join.
  15. So I have to make a name with a mature attitude in mind? Hell it's just a name, get over yourself. If my name isn't "respectable" enough for you, ignore any posts made by me, to be perfectly honest I don't care for your opinion about how immature my name happens to be... Gahhh, considering this has gone way off-topic (and it was a bug anyway) could a person with power please lock/trash this thread. Thank You
  16. What kind of a complaint is that :S My name being too "immature" Sorry but I didn't know you had to not swear/have a proper name to become part of your "mature" group  If that's your logic I would rather not follow it because I find that... well pathetic to say the least. ^ Yeah that would be good, just like MM. Especially if they made it very costly. Regards - Nucking
  17. Well yeah, Would be a bug then (I do recall having to log off before finally being able to finish the task... I did kind of rush through them as Mylez mentioned.) But my rant still stands in which I hate puzzles and think they should rework the variables in the task to a better standard. :P And yes, it's true that practise makes perfect, I now feel more able to take on a puzzle box quicker than before :D Regards - Nucking P.S: Oh and RobinHoodie, please don't use sarcasm on me -.-
  18. I only use one passwords for everything, and it's: pass Naw, but I do use a long combination of letters, numbers, and other characters ({"£$%@~}) If it's for something I don't care to loose, then it's a simple 8 digit sequence. (Gets typed in nice and quick with a beloved numpad :)) Regards - Nucking.
  19. Finished: Rune Platebody Rune Axe Rune Dagger 38 Rune Nails I seriously think Jagex should refine the Clue Tasks system. Adding a few more checks/variables into it really could prevent the chance of such an epic fail of a clue scroll(excuse the meme)
  20. What do you mean attitude XD I know full well that what I get is not at all dependant on the lifespan of my clue task. I'm not meaning to sound arrogant by "expecting a decent reward" Because to be honest, I know deep down it wont happen :P And great, just got another Puzzle Box... *cries*
  21. FYI: Remember this is a rant, so don't even bother making posts telling me to "get over it" I know that, yet I still want to vent some in game frustration kthxbai... OK, so I just complete the nice long Monkey Madness quest (If that wasn't enough to throw me off puzzle box's. And being in a happy mood I decide to go do that clue scroll I had left in my bank from... well I can't remember. Starts of nice, with a few Uri tasks and such. Then I get a puzzle box to complete... I'm fine with that, and eventually end up finishing it. I then get a few anagrams before meeting my next box... Instead of going on about the repetitive state of my clue task, I will list what I have had so far... (for just one clue task) 6 Box Puzzles (Like what the? I figured 2 would be enough...) 4 Uri tasks 5 Anagrams. 2 trips to the wilderness for some good old digging. Oh and the best bit? I am still doing the clue task as we speak. I swear to god if I don't get a decent reward out of this I will [insert imaginative angry actions here] I'm fine with 1 / 2, but now it's just getting repetitive and amazingly slow... RAWR Regards -Nucking.
  22. Wow this is a great guide. Really makes a change from the way it is written, and very informative/detailed about the numerous methods :D Thanks for the good read, and sharing of methods  10/10
  23. Link to the original image please? (so I can see what you done in it) Looks neat though :) Regards - Nucking
  24. I got a dragon full helm from one of those before. ... .... ..... ok ok , most valuable item I got was a Steelplate :( I find myself just dropping the rewards on the floor TBH...
  25. I agree with you on that, They have gone and changed things around, which simply "didn't need to be changed" And yeah, in terms of a IM this is one of the bloated ones (Less than that stupid Mercury Messenger though, IMO) However I still think it has some real potential with the new webcam features, makes it a lot easier to snap a DP of yourself etc. Is this what you people want to see as the new IM from MSN/Windows Live? Or for a better question, what would you like to see happen with it?
