  1. Well, I suited up for the Bandos event, and as luck would have it I couldn't make it; I had to run errands right before the event. Now, I have an optimal boss-hunting inventory, and I want to kill something =P~ I will be ranging. Inventory- -Two ranging potions -Two super defence potions -Two anti-fire potions -Five prayer potions -One super anti-posion -12 sharks -house teletab -Forinthry bracelet -a terrorbird filled with sharks And my equipment is- -Barrows gloves -Netz hemet -Black dhide (top and legs) -Rune crossbow with diamond bolts(e) -anti-fire shield -snakeskin boots -unholy book -Ring of Life -Glory Amuet -Accumulator Could I do it? If so, what should I do? If not, are there any other bosses I could solo (other than Giant MOle and Choas Elemental)?
  2. Must not be worth it then. Though insanely fast exp is a pretty good morale booster. Shame I don't like pking anyway.
  3. I was planning on pking anyway, I just seeing if there was anyway to get them as quickly as possible.
  4. 1. Other than killing someone who is risking >25k, is there any way to to make your potential go down? Like logging out and logging into a regular world? Or dying? Anything? 2. How rare are brawling gloves? I'm after those, given the apparent insane exp rates. Thanks
  5. Gosh, such a same I suck at pking. Are these just a random drop? What's the best way to get them?
  6. What do you think are the rarest (non-quest (as in, you use it IN the quest and can't get back after) and non-holiday, including half wine, disk, etc.) items in the game are? What I mean is, what is the rarest set-up? Hat: DEFINATELY the gold 5-feathered Chompy Hat Shield: One of the spirit shields, Third age kite Cape: Untrimmed slayer cape Weapon: Inferno Adze, Iban's Staff Ring: Explorer's ring (1) (who doesn't get this upgraded? LOL) but possibly ring of visibility Arrows: Ice arrows from Temple of Ivok, hands down Torso: Gold CW armor, Third age Legs: Glod CW armor, Third age Amulet: Third age Boots: Flippers from mogres, runner boots (who wears these?) Gloves: Third age Vambs Thoughts?
  7. Riods2525, for penguins.
  8. Legend's Guild does not sell it.
  9. I think that pretty much confirms it. Gnome Stronghold will be the next diary. Varrock came out right after Karmaja, and it was #1. They skipped Seer's and went stright to Falador and Fremminik, but then came back to it. Don't know about Lumbrdige, since it wasn't on the list but was the third to come out. Next on the list is the Gnome Stronghold. I'd bet money on it. I highly doubt there is going to be a release for arrows. However, there are three remaining choices (Ardy, Gnome and Burthope) and three remaining item slots (neck, cape, and legs). Now I REALLY hope that there will be a diray cape, and that it will trim my quest cape  Especially sicne the reqs for the diaries are quite high. 70 farming, 80 fletching, 80 cooking, 70 prayer, 66 runecrafting, 75 firemaking, 73 smithing, 65 magic, 72 slayer, etc. Also, I can't complete the Varrock medium. I've done hundreds of rock samples in the museum, but none of the give me the ruby necklace :wall: It's my last req, and I can complete the hard already (will boost farming with stranger plant, will spicy stew the smithing. Assisted the runecrafting req before Jagex fixed it  Potted most toher things. Must get 80 cooking though, apparently :(
  10. In my opinion, burting rock lobsters and focusing on getting charms and raising summoning only is idiotic. It is best to train slayer, and then periodically use up all your charms.
  11. Seer's, by a long shot. The enhanced Excaliber is perfect for camping at monsters where a Bunyip can't quite cut it (e.g. where you need slightly more than 8hp per minute)
  12. gah! I've tried everything. I cooked, like 20 sharks so far. I tried both ranges. DO you have to choose "cook:5" instead of all? Do you have to cook 5 in a row?!?
  13. I've had no problems, and I'm one task away (100 more lobs, Chef's Delight ftw  )
  14. Same. I hope you guys have tried it. What's not fun about 90k profit in 6 minutes or more than 20k xp for a few minutes of work? :? Yeah, I have. I just hate having to keep going back and checking, and then get frustrated when it doesnt grow right and I loose money, even if I don't loose it in the long run. Amulet of Nature checks automatically for you, set it to your last herb you plant. When it hums (if you're wearing it, if not, check it every once in awhile) And if you're worried about money, plant toadflax. Less profit than snaps or ranarrs, but if your plants die, you lose a LOT less. And always use supercompost! Seriously, even if you hate making it, they cost like 1k on the GE =P
  15. Nowhere else Helloooooo spicy stews!* *Unless my GE offers are fulfilled once I'm done getting 76 cooking
  16. Where can I get Chef's Delights, other than buying them from players or brewing it?
  17. Sipicy-Stewed the fletching part Admiral-Pied the sharks Must get cooking up before using Chef's Delight... Also, the cooking req. isn't one Jagex's list in the KB -.-
  18. (If you hate farming, you're probably not doing it right) PVP worlds, bounty hunter. Rcing and construction (that's what tears are for!) Trouble Brewing. Never done it. God Wars (except for the ocassional avansies trip) Cooking and fishing CLANS. I am not and never have been in a clan.
  19. Plus you get the satisfaction of starving koala bears. *Sigs*
  20. Even finishing all those quests will take much less time then you will save for 99 fish via lobsters v. monkfish. You may as well do them anyway.
  21. Monkfish do require a quest, but that shouldn't take you more than an hour or two. The # of sharks to 99 are worth more than the # of monkfish to 99, however those monkfish take SIGNIFIGANTLY less time to get.
  22. Good luck fishing sharks to 99. Seriously, if you only do either lobsters or sharks it will take you quite awhile to get 99 fishing. Fish monkfish. They're MUCH faster EXP than sharks, and higher gp/hour. The hours (upon hours) you'll save if you fish monkfish can be used for more profitable tasks. Lobsters are somewhat decent, basically a mini-version of monkfish in every way. But they are worse exp and money than monkfish. FISH MONKFISH. Period.
  23. I saw this same thing with a Granite Crab at Caste Wars. Seems to happen when the leader goes up a ramp (incline on the same "Java level")
  24. Compare the income that Jagex gets with advertising (aka how they pay for having F2P) And then compare it to the income that Jagex gets from membership fees. And then you'll realize why there should and never will be a F2P ONLY item. Here you go. That's a 1:10 ratio. It's not even funny.
