Film photography
Ask Dreamtongirl, I know she does. Actually interested to hear this, I have an old Minolta SLR that used to be my Dad's sitting round at home, with heaps of lenses and stuff. The main thing I would be worried is getting stuff developed, especially when you're learning to use it. Can't just check them on your computer then delete them.

Come visit me and we can drink in true scarfie fashion lol. Depends on your budget and how you're gonna get around. Queenstown can be pretty expensive during the winter, especially accomodation. The whole of Central Otago is a pretty cool place to visit, lots of scenery to see. I would say come visit Dunedin, but tbh it's not that interesting. Granted there is some cool architecture, wildlife and is a student town. Ask Wongtong what she thinks of it, I lived here for a while now so I'm biased. But Queenstown is probably cooler as a party town, I spent a week up there on a university field trip, and we went ever night and it was good every night. Heaps of Poms work up there, but I think during the ski season there's heaps of Americans, Canadians and Aussies during winter. Wanaka is a pretty nice place to ski, Treble Cone is supposed to be a World Class skifield, and it's the only one I've been to. Dunno if it will be cheaper or not, but I might be going there in a couple of weeks. I don't really think I answered much, but feel free to ask whatever

So I did my first LONG exposure photo last night...
It'd be cool as well if you could merge it with one shot so that the foreground is slightly more exposed. But good, work, did you just have your remote shutter shutter clicked down for the whole time? And your battery lasted the whole time?

Cars with driver's side on the right side.
I still have no problems with changing gears with my "weaker" hand. Of course that's entirely because that's how I learned to do it, so I'm reasonably co-ordinated between my left foot and my left hand, in terms of clutch control and shifting the gear stick. I think the bigger issue would be driving on the "wrong" side of the road, that would be weirder, especially when combined with have to consciously change gears with the other hand. I can see why people take a bit of time to adjust between the different systmes.

Tis all that GDP and stuff. In Taiwan, medium fries from McD's costs ~$.90 USD (conversion rate). That might seem cheap to people in the US, but it's probably somewhat "expensive" for people in Taiwan. So I'd imagine that in Qatar you'd have a hard time getting a job that pays enough to make $60k USD seem cheap. I don't know how to say this without sounding like an utter racist, but facts are facts so my apologies if some of you find this offensive in any form. Truth be told, if you are a westerner (more specifically white) finding a job that pays that "pays enough to make $60k USD seem cheap" is somewhat easy. This probably because these people are skilled workers, which is why they are in the country, because they can earn quite a lot of money. If you're unskilled, it won't matter where you're from, you're not going to be able to pull a 60K job.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
If you're in a pub then just go and talk to people. Don't hit on girls, start by disqualifying yourself and have fun. No girl spends an hour getting ready to go out, hoping no guy will talk to her. The more things you get involved in, the more stuff you have to talk about. Universities are gold. Full of stuff you can sign up for, and full of young women that you can talk to while you're there. I also think I prefer meeting women during the day rather than at night, because it's simplified. And you can actually hear what they're saying. Convosation in some bars/clubs can be pretty hard sometimes. Oh yeah Tim get yuor roommates to get there friends round and have drinks etc, good way to meet some of their friends, and hopefully make them your friends.

Yep. Effort, time, commitment. gay kk Damn, you're lazy. Basically you need to be a bit of a douche, be the alpha male. It's easy to get the technique right. It's hard to get the feel and confidence right. Just make sure you separate that person from yourself - don't become a 24/7 douche. Meh, pretty much just rip them out constantly. But also be nice. Girls like being teased. Pretty much you have to put some spade work in, otherwise it's hard to get results. Unless you get drunk and go to town and get with random chicks. But that works a lot easier if you sort of know them first, say, you've put some work in beforehand. Then if they like you...

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Well I guess I didn't frame that very well. It's kind of like we're going out, though neither of us has bothered to clearly define our relationship, which is fine with me. So I technically we aren't going out, but if I got with this other girl, it would sort of feel like I'm exploiting a loop hole. A guess a decent measure would be to ask if she got with some else, would I be upset. Possibly. Actually, probably.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Uh, we have sort of gone past the dating stage. Well, I guess we have, she's stayed at mine a couple of times, and I've stayed at her place at least 7 or more times. The other one asked me to drink at hers tomorrow, but I already have plans but she said she'd see me in town. Ah I'll just let what happens happen, and hope [cabbage] doesn't hit the fan :shades:

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
You know how when it rains, it floods? That's what it feels like atm. I kinda of have a thing with a girl at the moment, beening seeing each other a bit recently, well that's a bit of an understatement but anyway. Another girl who I'd been putting a bit of spadework in with likes me now. Just talking to her on facebook now, we're both at the uni library, not sitting near each other, but I said I was hungry and told me to bring me some food. Anyway some flirting later (eg: What's in it for me ;)) I notice her status has changed to "I capital L like you", as a not so subtle message. So pretty much went "Doh" cos I'd kinda forgot that I've been flirting with her this whole time, but sort of almost with someone else. TL;dr - Damn moral dilemmas.

What are the older cars like? I'm guessing there aren't that many cars pre 2000 on the roads?
