  1. All the way to the frikking elves place for a tt coord clue and forgot watch!!!! :wall: Went back with watch, forgot spade :wall: :wall: Forgot axe at Karm dungeon Forgot 895 gp for entrance to Karm dungeon
  2. Although it DOES say "players", I wonder about NPC's using prayer (Tormented Demons)? hmmmmmmm
  3. They are? Where in Edgeville? In the dungeon past the blue drags (forget the name atm....neeeeed....more.....coffeeeee). You can set up the cannon and duck away so they cannot attack you. So even though it is not multi the cannon can still attack multiple targets. I imagine may be a bit crowded since the update.
  4. So now that it's fixed, can someone explain how it worked? I thought everyone knew already? Player A is giving money to Player B for one reason or another. Both players get Karamja Gloves (at least 1). Player A gets 25 uncut Dragonstones Player B gets several obsidian items of different types (fast method), or huge piles of fire runes Player B sells the obsidian items (one of each type at a time) or the fire runes (1 tokkul each) to get a pile of tokkul. This comes out to 10-12 GP per tokkul via items, 9 gp per tokkul via fire runes. Both players gather at the gem store. Player A sells 25 uncut dragonstones and gets ~4K Tokkul. Player B buys the dragonstones for ~18K tokkul, and sells it back to player A for ~1.2M cash. There was a limit so you could only do this twice every few hours, making for a total of 4, maybe 6 trades per day. So... if anyone ever wanted to try BH-ing, now would be a good time since all the dragonstone traders are probably resorting to BH now. Unfortunately it's still fairly safe unless you're unlucky enough to get 2 people on you + your target + a rogue. I see, ty for explaining. So in essence it was like trading 18k fire runes for 1.2 mil. Interesting.

  6. ^ Courtesy of KoA. The strategy is mentioned in the guide I linked to, with a few exceptions, most importantly the attacks Kree uses. While his main, ranging-based attack can hit in the 60s, his second attack, that hits up to the 20s, isn't based on magic, but on either ranged or melee, and is blocked more often by melee armour than by magic defence. The third direct attack, is a lot less accurate, but I don't know how high it hits. Max I think I've seen was 26, and that was a lot into my GWD career, so getting pecked more than 0 seems to be uncommon.[/hide] Hey!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) EDIT: Oh, to "un-spam", I concur with what Deekay said.
  7. color change? If so, would be nice for the "slayer task complete" one. I know it's pretty obvious, but I know I have accidentally blow past my amount in the past. The antifire makes a "tick-tock" noise now. and your not the only one to overdo the slayer :P LOL, I went so far past one time, I couldn't even see the message in the chat box scrolling all the way up  !
  8. More npc's would be nice too. The chaos tunnels certainly helped for some assignments. (Hellhounds perm-blocked for me for just that reason) Err, kinda veered off topic sorry.
  9. Ya, you and everyone else. Great more people at abby's? As if there isn't enough already. I may decide to put these on permanent block, seeing as I've only gotten one whip from 85-90 slayer (15-20 assignments?) anyway. Spiritual Mages FTW :P [/hide] Always is crowded Slayer tower, yes, but soon, I imagine the uncrowded place will be too :wall:

  11. I guess this is now true then for jade vine and bork? If so...sweeeeeeeeet! Also sweet. I have definitely forgotten a time or two in the past color change? If so, would be nice for the "slayer task complete" one. I know it's pretty obvious, but I know I have accidentally blow past my amount in the past.
  12. I am afraid this will be a 1 item thing, as in you can only check 1 item at a time. I hope I am wrong otherwise it would be only mildly useful. It's nice to know how much you have made during a slayer task or things along those lines.
  13. If you walked into the bank and found the safe open and a stacks of cash in it and you decided to take them. Do you think you should just have to give it back? If JaGex JUST took away the xp/ levels it's like saying "go ahead abuse the bugs, worst thing that happens is if you get caught, it just wont count" If you knowingly abuse a bug, you deserve punishment. "I accidentally clicked on the penguin 47 times, I didn't mean it" - BAH "I was cleaning my knife and boom, it just went off...47 times"
  14. In my opinion being a skiller is like joining the army to be a cook. But hey, to each their own, whatever makes the game fun for you.
  15. That's what she said. :D OT: The only thing that I dislike about some skills in Runescape is that you can take raw materials, do something with them, and you lose money. You are spending time doing something, so why should you lose money? In real life, taking raw resources and creating a product usually makes you money, not lose it. Some skills to name are smithing, crafting, herblore, etc. Other than that, I like almost all the skills, except farming, it is soooo boring to me... All skills can be done for "free". Training a skill by buying the resources makes it cost money. Gathering your own resources will make it more like "real life" in that you will make money. Catch fish (= free), cook fish, sell fish. EEEEH! I'm sorry, but that answer is incorrect. You do not make money be gathering your own resources for making end products, but LOSE money. An example: You gather Green Dragonhides worth 1.5k each. You craft them into Vambraces worth 1.3k each as well as tanning them for an increased time expenditure. You actually LOSE 200 gp on each hide and even more from the time it took to gather and tan them. And in reality, businesses almost ALWAYS buy their raw materials or parts and then use them to produce something worth a good bit MORE than the materials, wages, and time expenditure. I see and understand your point. I was looking at it from a more overall point of view. It is not to say that I train by collecting my own resources. The point I was making is if you have a raw shark that you caught, it is a raw shark, not gp. You could sell it for 1k but you cooked it so you sell it now for 800 gp. Overall, you made 800gp (and gained both fishing and cooking xp). Now if you sold it raw you made 1k gp so either way you make money, it's just a difference in how much. I think it is all just a matter of perspective. In general if one was to train a skill by collecting their own resources, they will be much richer in the end than if the purchased the supplies. Obviously, it RS is different from real life because of xp. [/hide] I do get what you mean, but I disagree. I'd much rather go and do GWD, aviasies, green drags, rcing, than collecting my own seconds for herblore (or herbs too, in fact). You see it in general, but that gives you a wrong view. It's the FISHING that GIVES you money + fishing xp It's the COOKING that make you LOOSE money +cooking xp Simple as that, no way around it. In short: catch fish, cook fish, sell fish = $ gain Buy fish, cook fish sell fish = $ loss That's the only point I was trying to make. Hell, I am no "purist", when I train rc, am I buying the ess? absolutely (BTW, here is your make money skill, buy ess, make nat, sell nat = proffit) Some may argue you can make more money doing other things (as was stated in another post) and of course in reality (well RS reality) that's how I do it. BUT in the world of RS, we tend to have to "pay for xp" in order to do it quicker.

  18. Very nice!! [rant] WTF! I think my runescape is broken :P ...1 whip in about 15 tasks. I've gone from 85 to almost 91 slayer with 1 freaking whip! That's it! I quit RS! [/rant] OK, i'm back..wow I quit RS for an entire 7 seconds! Longest retirement I've had so far.
  19. Niceeee assuming you made about 18m from whips lol the price rise is nothing for u :P I KNOW it's not on topic but what is the deal with the SGS? Why is it rising so much lately? I'm glad I got mine when it was 38.5.
  20. I don't mean to come off as some psycho clan recruiter, my point being that there are MANY adults that play the game regularly. On a personal note, I have found a great community that consists of adults that play. It is certainly not the only one out there but I love it and will be a part of it for as long as I play the game. I have met MANY nice people through KoA. It is not run by a tyrannical power hunger 13 year old like some clans ( no offense to tyrannical power hunger 13 year olds :P ) and the requirements to get in are kind of steep (110 p2p combat OR 1600 overall) but the commitment needed to stay is not. It is understood that as an "adult" clan we have many real life obligations to take care of. I am pretty sure the monthly requirement is just attend 1 event and make 5 posts on the forums. The founder is awesome and the admin's are equally as great. (Okay, so maybe I did come off as a psycho clan recruiter :) ) EDIT: Here is a link to our "Recruitment Thread" here on tip.it: viewtopic.php?f=173&t=759373&p=6038399&hilit=koa#p6038399
  21. Old. (See sig :P)
  22. :D Hi, I'm with you, I KNOW there are lots of adults (like myself) who play. There are even clans/communities (see my sig ;) )for adults who play. We may be a minority, but is not as rare as you think, some of us are just quiet about it.
  23. EXACTLY what I was thinking! They said they worked on it more then RFD. It was a great quest IMO, but did not seem that it took as much work as as RFD (then again, what do I know wrt the programming involved). Maybe that was just a portion of the effort they were speaking of and maybe 150 will be the "rest" of their labor they spoke of.
  24. Can someone please paste the original thread in here? I can't get to RSOF atm. As far as I see it, without reading the thread yet: Sailing is to Exploring as Carpentry is to Construction Everyone was all over carpentry a while back and wham "construction" came out. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out sooner than we think.
