This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.... and I love you Jagex, but seriously? Okay, the only reasons they give against this being cheapening the current skills are: "It's only 10 hours". Well, that's like saying "Oh, I only killed 1 person, I didnt kill a 100, so thats okay then". And the second reason, "It'll give people who wants to reach their goal the oppurtunity to reach that goal". So that doesn't cheapen the efforts of those who did it with 1x xp? I'm disappointed by you Jagex. This is pointless.

Why is nobody choosing Lunar staff? -_- Its the only one I really use in every day gameplay...

So, I checked out Zarfots adventurer log and....omg!! WTF! That is insane.... look at this and note the dates: That is TEN MILLION xp in a single DAY! Thats almost a 99 in a day.... :o

They're also the nr 1 and 2 spot of the prayer hiscores :) Both with 200m xp leading with about 85m xp on 3rd....

They didn't say plainly no, they said "Yes and no. You'll understand when the skill is out." So it will involve other skills, but you won't need levels in other skills to do this skill =)

If you wanna argue it, a fire cape would probably protect you from the icy attacks of the wyrm. But then you would think that you could still attack it, just be owned =)

50% melee protection for 1 minute = tank twice as many claw / ags specs against you = you can pray range / mage against a boss you'd normally have to pray melee against (e.g. Corp beast) I mentioned this already. It was good in theory, until someone tested it and found that it's too slow. It would be like using a D Long against the Corp, you simply won't do enough damage to make it worthwhile. That's disappointing but at least it isn't OP. Either way, it's still viable for just straight up tanking hits / piles. Definitely still doesn't seem as epicly useful as everyone is making it out to be.... as a mage staff comboed with meele weapon for rangers, sure its useful. But the special... not so much.

I'm 94 Slayer without Fire cape (had twice, lost within 24 hours xD), and you don't see me complaining. I'll just wait till I get a jad task and own the heck out of him. Then I have deserved the privilege to fight Ice Strykewyrms (yes, a privilege, not a right). If you can't beat Jad, you're not worthy to fight the hardest slayer monster in RS. Simple as that. EDIT: I don't understand all the fuzz about the staffs special, isn't it exactly the same as prot meele, only that it doesn't protect 100% against monsters...?

Ahh I love you Jagex =) Sadly I wont be able to do much with these updates as I have limited time to play, going to a boarding school and all -_- Doesnt make the updates any less epic though =D

Wow, I don't think you could have summed up the way Jagex operates in a more perfect way. That is pretty much what they do these days, mention update, create speculation... delay it another week. Anyways, definetly FTP3. Duh. Mention one example of when they did that excluding this week? And I certainly hope you aren't blaming them, as its certainly not their fault.

I'm split about this change of events... One one hand, damn I really want to find out what this is xD On the other hand, after all this teasing and a WEEKS delay, its yet again likely to be the new skill, or atleast FT3, and I shouldn't really care seeing as I wont be able to play in another 2 weeks atleast anyways :P But yea, I'm EXCITED Lets bear in mind though, players create the hype ;)
