Also double runes or not doesn't affect how much ess you can bind, or how much exp you'll get. So if you're planning for double exp, just be concerned with the exp per ess and the number of runs possible for each rune.

Avantoes are more profitable and give more exp than ranarrs, but the best are snaps/dwarf weed/torstol with a Scroll of Life.

Did you miss my recommendation that you should buy claws? If so, I'll repeat it here: get claws, they are by far the most useful offensive spec weapon for slayer and general killing, which seems to cater to your playstyle. Either way you should exchange dragon for barrows for more money so you can merch with it, especially since you'll get far better armor by doing so.

You're math (no English accents here :razz: ) is fine, but I wouldn't consider herb training right now unless you want to take advantage of the bonus exp weekend. If you take that into account with and average bonus of 2x then you'd only be losing around 42mil. Otherwise, wait a loooong time to let prices stabilize, and that means both letting herb prices drop and pot prices rise and all the training will cause tons of pots to be dumped into the ge at once.

Also, just so you know, you can't have familiars summoned in your house if it's in building mode, so you have to use the butler to fetch extra planks (Even if you were using a BoB, you'd still have to bank).

Sell the dragon plate and legs, buy Torag or Dharkok's top and Verac's skirt to replace them, and then buy claws. And no, you don't NEED the extra def of barrows for just slayer, but it will help and it's FAAAAAAR cheaper than full dragon (12mil versus about 4mil) for better stats.

Always have a spare GreeGree, because there's no easy way to make another one after the quest. If you're down to your last one make more immediately, so you can do it disguised.

You're going to have a VERY, VERY, VERY difficult time without a terrorbird/war tort and/or kyatt to help you against Nomad (Especially considering your other stats are sub-par as far as boss-like enemies go). If you want a basic strategy though, basically have the same brew-NORMAL rest ratio as you would have with a BoB, try and get a good BGS spec in at the start of the fight, and use all the methods possible to not lose hp (Ie using the pillars to your full advantage).

Prayer switching means defending against the attack style that Jad is currently trying to kill you with by switching to the appropriate protection prayer. You can tell what attack style he's going to use by sound effects (For the mage attack, so it's vital to have rs sound effects turned ON) and his animation for the range attack (Look up some vids on yt for further elaboration). This is absolutely vital, as even at my levels he can kill you in two hits if you are not protecting from his attacks properly (And yes, that is speaking from recent experience...). If you want to train some levels so that the waves before Jad are easier (And to give you some possible wiggle room against Jad, not much though), focus on training range, def, and prayer (Possibly herb for better boosting pots, but that's not as necessary).

Thanks for writing this guide, it really helped me during my first legitimate attempt. I had a full blown panic attack at Jad, so I don't think I'll be trying it again anytime soon, but at least I know I can get through the waves.

Just know that it displays the warning that it will decay after 15 minutes of use, and then it will actually disappear after 20 mins of use (By use I mean being set-up, not necessarily firing).

ya but in order to bank at wildy volcano u have to have like 30 games necklaces and each is 1k so i just thought about how i could spend the least gp and make the most. :thumbsup: o and ty You have to spend money to make money, it's not even worthwhile to use the Ring of Kinship as a cheaper dueling ring, much less as a cheaper games necklace. Also, a cannon would vastly improve your ability to kill dragons and the rate at which you kill them (Meaning fast banking ie games necklaces become more important). And you might want to adjust the invy and setups below the pics to account for those with super antifires, bandos, etc (I'm not saying you need those things, or take a pic showing them, but account for them so your guide has a broader audience to reach). A good start though!

Yeah and you'd better have like 99 agility, since I think the traps in Isafdar can one-hit you at 10 HP. :-? I think I will also work on Agility because running to bank, and running out of run is a pain in the ass. So I'll just train that. :) plus an Agility skill cape looks BEAST! It won't make you lose run energy slower (Adjusting your weight does that), it'll just make you recover the run faster.

I don't know if they are bought out, but cutting gems is pretty fast exp.

Hunting greenwalls is a good way to make money through slayer, but getting access to them would probably be hard for a skiller because of all the quests involved. Not impossible, I'm sure it's been done before, but it won't be a walk in the park :P .
