I have lots of high farming effigies, add me Lioness 32.
  2. Are you doing it through your fremmy boots? It might just be a glitch because of elite diaries.
  3. For everyday occasions melee is usually preferred, since there's no ammo to buy. Honestly you're best if you train both unless you're going to be a pure or something; in an environment like castle wars the more combat skills you have access to the better off you will ALWAYS be.
  4. Sorry for the double post, the forum was acting screwy  .
  5. Which you ALWAYS should; Claws should always be a priority over a DFS if all you do is slay because claws are useful for the vast majority of tasks, if not all of them, whereas DFS is useful only on a few, one if you have 85+ herblore.
  6. Treasure Trails and perhaps Zammy GWD are the only ways to collect junk that aren't a complete waste of time, you could also borrow things like claws or an ags for something and get junk that way, but you'd be better off making money the regular way than to go out of your way to collect junk. And those "idiots" are right, you'd be wasting your time or breaking the rules to try and get much higher than it's ge value in a trade.
  7. A glory would be a better choice, both the helm and the ammy take advantage of the super set boosts, and cannoning in the polly dungeon is worthwhile.
  8. Large circles around the whole room, or that's what I did and it seemed to work. EDIT: Gratz!
  9. Not recently, Kuradal and her dung was a huge update to the skill and I think it's a good idea to let it settle for a while.
  10. Just keep running around in circles, cutting when you can, and when the beast starts to attack start running again.
  11. Doesn't that contradict the first part of the OP about gathering your own resources. I mean, I'd rather make money through slayer to buy my pure ess than have to mine for hours upon hours upon hours to get all that I needed.

I guess the point of having them in helmet is to get one more space room in inventory and take them out when needed. But it is a bit of hassle to remove them from the helmet. No, the point of scrolls in the helmet is that they activate without draining the special bar, so you basically get free attacks.
  13. Mother Gaia: An In-Depth Manual to Farming ; no they don't die if you're off schedule, they only die when they grow but if they make it to the last stage they'll stay healthy till you harvest them. Just farm them in the order I stated earlier, [/feeding thread jacker]
  14. Now should I farm the highest herb I can or the most profitable? I usually do Irit or rannars. Do ranarrs till avantoes, then those till snapdragons and keep doing those till torstols (Also get a Scroll of Life before you start doing snaps). Is Scroll of life worth the 10k tokens because I have around 5k tokens right now so im not that far away. Worth every token.

  16. Just for future reference, when training construction the gp/exp is usually constant for the same kind of plank, it just can change when you move to a different tier of planks.
  17. Evidence shows that in the long term you will always profit while slaying, even if you're powerslaying.
  18. Oak larders till oak dungeon doors has always been the standard way of training construction, I'd just do that.
  19. Buy them daily from Zaff and Baba Yaga and always keep in offers for them in ge, they'll come in every 4 hours (Keep them in at max if you want to make sure to get them). Other than that just browse the RSOF, look around w2, and hope for the best.
  20. The video belongs in either the RuneScape Screenshots, Videos and Sounds Thread or the Begining Guides Subforum if you embellish and explain the methods a bit more. If you're looking for recruits for your clan though use the Clan Recruitment Subforum.

I'd go with around 2k as well, you can always resell them at minimal risk and the LAST thing you're gonna want to do is rebank/buy more and run all the way back there.
  22. I can guarantee you charms aren't affected by the RoW. And to further prove my point the Rare Drop Table is shared by almost every monster in rs, from Goblins to Fire Giants to Zil. Now, since many of those monsters don't drop effigies we can conclude that effigies aren't on the Rare Drop Table, and therefore cannot be affected by the RoW.
  23. I believe they are extra drops and would have no chance of being on the rare drop table, so no.
  24. And if you have no friends online, you can just try random worlds, sometimes there's random nubs fighting there that you can kill with ease.
  25. Responses are bolded, I know a lot of these things are annoying, costly, and you probably don't want to do them (I don't, but I don't worry so much about my exp rates) but these are the major things you should do if you want faster rates of exp.
