Some combat related/money issues
Here's an AoW guide to combat training in Ape Atoll, can't help with the TD's since I've never done them but at your levels I can guarantee it'd be pretty difficult.

Construction XP
Construction was made to be a cash-sink skill, if you're power leveling then you should be building, taking out, and rebuilding oak larders with sc hammers.
-
Waterfiends Setup
There's a subsection in here on collecting charms, with waterfiends at the top.

Herby, agility and smithing
Invest in MTK (Do both of the quests relating to it if you haven't) and put 10 workers on herbs; you can sell the herbs you can't use and make pots with the rest. Smithing is either the best platebody you can make or superheating gold. And finally I liked the Brimhaven course before the wildy, but do whatever until you can get into the wildy.

What does 'Bank Sale!' mean?
Usually someone trying to make some cash for a big purchase by selling items that might not insta-sell in the ge, or they're trying to get rid of junk like low lvl allotment seeds...

slayer advice?
Considering whips are around 4mil nowadays (Or they were a week or two ago) abby demons aren't bad money, though I'd definetly get a bunyip first since guthans will slow your killing rate. If you want fast exp you should pot, cannon, and 10% str pray with prossy top and verac's skirt; also invest in piety as soon as you have the spare cash to, it will really speed things up.

Thinking of getting P2P
Also, do you have anything besides the 400k? Because you might need some armor or a weapon to complete some quests.
-
50-60 Con
Self reliance is the road to poverty, that method is insanely slow; just stick to oak larders with sc hammers (You should switch to oak dung doors when you can). You'll need 3.3 proto tools (So 4 and blow the rest on smithing or something).

Elemental Workshop III
Unless you need to do the quest for the qp cape, Elemental Workshop 3 gives you access no useful items whatsoever.

Help with Crafting
I hear cutting d stones is fast and actually pretty fair priced exp, though it takes a truckload of startup cash to get the stones initially.

best money making monsters?
I'd focus a bit more on exp to bring that def up to your other stats before you really start camping for profit, but Ankous are pretty good (Even better in p2p than in f2p).

90-95 Magic
Only difference between humidify and alch is that you need to use the f-keys to switch between your spells and your invy, which imo makes things a lot more annoying.

Tip.It Times - 06th June 2010
You mean like the puzzle from Within the Light? I actually found that to be the best quest puzzle to date: you needed to have a good understanding of the mechanics and what your end goal was but it was condensed to one area and easy to control. The Temple of Light is just too big (Not to mention the agility obstacles) and the controls for EMIII were just god awful. On topic...I enjoyed both articles this week, keep up the good work!

Maximising profit via RC
Since the rc update I'm pretty sure astrals would be more profitable since you're very close to making double astrals only two levels away, but deaths would be very profitable and better exp.

penguin points & level 1 dungeon
Was just double checking for penguins as I know with juna and some quest reward lamps you do need to have a minimum level in the skill you use the lamp for . For Juna (Tears of Guthix) you can be level 1 and still get exp. The skill just has to have been around long enough. Same with non-quest exp lamps, and I'm pretty sure the only quest that give exp rewards with a skill requirement is WGS. No, most quest reward lamps require an existing skill level. Generally, the more the exp, the higher the requirement. According to the Rune Wiki it's actually a pretty mixed bag, especially since a lot of them give only combat exp; the usual skill thresholds, if they are there, are 30 and 50 though.

Farming Fruit Trees
If you pay for your trees to get protected, then them getting diseased and then cured makes them miss a growth stage, theoretically if they kept getting sick they would never mature.

Ring of Life
If you are getting attacked and killed often enough that it's causing you economic troubles, you probably should wear armor instead of decorative clothing whenever you're doing to pass by aggressive monsters that pose a threat. A ring of wealth will help, but you'll see a lot more cash if you're more cautious.

Member again..
Keep the whip but sell the rest; do you want to train skills first or get right into combat? Do you like questing or no? Do or did you have any goals in mind?

Best way to 99 strength?
All right let me cut straight to the chase here son, because you obviously haven't been on this boat long enough. And I say boat as in forum just incase that slips past your head too. The argument that slayer is the "best" form of cb training or strength training in this case is as old as these forums. Different strokes for different folks. I'll leave it at that. What he's saying is that his "stroke" is to train str and other combat stats through slayer; just because you don't like the way he trains and gives advice to others doesn't mean his opinion is flat our wrong. Also saying a stance is old or has been repeated a lot doesn't imply that the argument is invalid or outdated...

Swiftkit?
I like laid back training and browsing the internet at the same time, so SwiftKit only slows me down by making me switch windows; and honestly most of the features don't appeal to me or I have a faster/better method for using them.

questions about slayer
I unblocked irons but kept steels on the block list due to the time it takes for a steels task, I would do that first if you're considering it just because it gives you a taste of steels without making you waste points.

Best way to 99 strength?
The reason there is an Obsession with slayer is because, if you EVER plan on training slayer, it is more efficient time-wise to train your combat stats doing it. There is no sense camping monsters for 99s, and THEN get 99 slayer, when you could have done it at the same time. Also, in all honesty, camping at one monster is boring as [cabbage] to me. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyways, since you can't do Armoured Zombies, you could try the money zombies on ape atoll instead. They work the same as the Zombies in that they're undead, so you use a Salve amulet. There is also an altar near by, so you can use constant prayer. Bandits and SoS spiders are also popular methods. ---------------------------------------- There's very little use for a Slayer ring if you use Kuradal. I've yet to unlock the ability to make rings, simply because I'd rarely use them. I only ever use them for Spectre and Terror Dog tasks. Join date: 26-January 10 Same arguement 5 years ago. Not everyone here has the same mindset as you and why are you assuming OP wants 99 slayer? It's better to assume that down the line you might want to have high slayer, either because a high slayer monster will be released that gives enormous profit or because you might want to max out stats later on (people and goals change). Slayer isn't terrible exp, it's just not great; all choosing to slay now does is give you choices later on to be less irritated training slayer and not looking forward to any other level ups. To OP: 500k from 99 str all through slayer and I don't regret anything, it's what I recommend.

Train range, collect charms..
You could also look into ranging black demons in the chaos tunnels; yes they are slow and boring if you aren't paying attention to a movie or something, but there are spots that no black demon can reach (meaning easy safespotting), they drop tons of crimson charms, they profit a little, they only require welfare gear to be effective, and they are easily afkable.

BGS vs. Whip + DFS
I prefer the DFS + Whip for purely aesthetic purposes, but this really isn't the kind of question others can answer for you. And if you want to actually DO something with these things then a DFS would be more useful for slayer (though not as good as a rune def) and training, and a gs would be better for boss hunting.
