  1. Some players have the icon for months after months, and for some it goes away after like 2 weeks; it's pretty random but expect it to go away in the next month or two at the most.
  2. You also only need to get approval up about once a week, and that's when you should collect the profits, since the time spent helping and the hassle (imo) is far greater than the better payout you get; as long as your approval rating is above 90/85 you'll be doing well.
  3. In terms or making pouches the most useful would be the most efficient, taking into account both time and income. And I'm not sure, but it seems like you're asking which pouch is best to summon in order to train summoning; summoning familiars give very little summon exp and you'll do almost all your training making pouches.
  4. I don't think so, since equipment doesn't matter when it comes to the cannon, only your range level does.
  5. They're still useless if your stats suck and you can't even kill the boss once without banking. Never said he should boss hunt, either way they'd be a good investment to get even if he's just training for now because they speed up exp.
  6. Just as a side note, if you're hell bent on killing boss monsters barrows gloves will give you a good boost, it's like wearing 4 torsos on your hands not to mention the accuracy boosts.
  7. Like schmuall said, superglassmake is decent crafting exp, as well as mild mage exp, with the bonus of being profitable; with it you can make money to powertrain with d'hides without having to waste training time.
  8. If you don't want to use spellbook swap I just slayer ring to slayer caves and use climbing boots to get through the stronghold (Takes a while, but the patch is worth it), but like others have been saying you can pretty much do everything you have to with lunars and more.
  9. I expect it will make them slide slighty. It is a fairly low level, easy to acquire item, which can then be used in all bar dragon combat really to gain prayer xp. Factor this in for newer players especially and odds are overall you are going to knock 1mil xp off of getting 99 prayer (if not more), which means lowered demand for bones. Not a huge impact, but an impact none the less Most "newer" players aren't going to have bonecrushers, though. 1mil XP is kind of a ridiculous estimation... that's 250,000 normal monsters killed or about 14k dragons. If you train slayer ur easily gonna kill hundreds of k of monsters tht drop bones. Why would you waste an invy slot for an item that gives only minimal exp per task? Sure, you could say it all adds up, but an extra spec restore or prayer pot would be far more useful and its benefits will add up far faster.
  10. Easy, people probably aren't powerslaying them and without a cannon kaphites and living rocks are boring as hell; hellhounds are hated because of their lack of drops and bad charms and warped tortoises, while they give fast exp, are boring to me and probably many others. Honestly, it all comes down to the way you like slaying and what your priorities are.
  11. Uni effect is alright if there's a summoning obelisk nearby, but since the effect drains points you'd be better off with a yip + super antis (Tried it once at jungle strykewyrms, took a hell of a lot of damage because I ran out of points and refused to recharge or bank <_< 0.
  12. If you're looking for a good spec weapon then buy claws, the spec is much more beneficial; if you're going for a wep for bosses a rune def + whip usually works well unless you're trying to get into a rsof team (Which always require a gs...), then get either a BGS (Cheapest) or whatever GS is most requested at the boss(es) you like.
  13. To make people think about the words they say, if a word is censored it forces you to put effort into using it which deters some from typing it, at least in theory.
  14. I'm pretty sure the best combat money outside of pking comes from ankous in the SoS, Roaches in the Safety Dungeon, and that newer dungeon that came along with The Blood Pact.
  15. Why are you comparing FoG and PC? FoG gives more tangible, degradable, and in most cases tradable rewards whereas PC gives non-tradable and non-degradable armor and exp.
  16. I block Hellhounds (Bad experience with getting them as an unskippable 100th task, it was horrible...), Kalphites (Good exp if you cannon, but virtually no drops and I hate having to cannon tasks), Steel Dragons (Just getting used to Irons, and Steels seem waaaay too slow), Terror Dogs (Just plain annoying and I was getting them too often), and Living Rock Creatures (Can't mine them, boring, and people always crowding the lower lvls). Really it comes down to what you consistently hate as tasks; some tasks you hate on and off depending on luck or if you've gotten them too often but a task is worth blocking if you disdain doing them.

Overloads, vengeance, turmoil, soul split, full d claw spec, and a lucky whip hit afterward and you might get a 7 second kill; You don't tank Jad, you just rush him.
  18. If you're looking for more consistent non-boss monsters than spirit mages profit per hour is around that of abby demons, but if you're looking to do it asap bosses would probably be your best bet.

That's pretty accurate, I think that factoring street price it boiled down to about 600k/hr (including gems and other obby drops as well).
  20. X millions of dollars per hour is almost exclusively boss hunting (Except Greenwalls and Nats of course, but you don't have the levels for those) and you can't even wield a whip yet; I would just train combat for a while, I would say using slayer but however you prefer, and you'll most likely gain profit along the way and be able to access the better $ making methods.

Depends entirely on the market, but bows of all kinds (strung and unstrung) are usually a safe bet though they consistently do cost; I also hear that a combination of alching and superheating gold can get 100k exp/hour, but it takes a lot of concentration and losses more than just alching.

Are you planning on saving crims for later? Because there's not a whole lot that you can make at that level and you'd be better off waiting to use them. I'd put off doing waterfiends until you can make decent pouches with them, plus the extra training before you go there will help you be more effective there.
  23. Well I guess I came in a bit too late, but prossy gives better exp/hour than bandos at armoured zombies and since they're so cheap there's basically no depreciation. But don't fret, if you want you can sell bandos once it rises above what you bought it for and then you have a viable alternative; you can profit from any economic change as long as you're willing to be dynamic about your methods and habits.

Once you get 65 slayer Dust Devils give a good mix of crimson and gold charms, but once you've gotten that lvl you'll probably want mostly crimson charms anyways...
  25. By right clicking your background on the main screen, going to properties, and then going to the settings tab; it will only look right for you but if people want to view it without the margins being weird they'll have to change it themselves.
