Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
People who say 'Like' as a filler word (instead of um). Teenage girls tend to do this the most. Deaf people, I don't want to scream in your ear for you to hear me. Stop asking me what I said. People who say 'eh'. One of my pet peeves, generally people do this on Msn/Instant messengers. Beggars. No, I don't have 50c change, GTFO.

Favorite OTers?
Me, Myself, and I. And probably Sue_Kitsu/Wongtong for obvious reasons. Zierro and Shiny are cool too. There's more to this list, just can't think of them at the top of my head >.<

Homelessness
Edit - Yes, these people do exist, but with the continuous growth of the 'fake beggars', it's extremely hard to distinguish between the two. Giving them food is a nice gesture, giving them money is a different story. I wouldn't feed some guy's cocaine addiction through giving them some spare change, especially considering the fact that some of them make $80k+ per year, tax free (albiet illegal) Homelessness, by definition, isn't that bad. It can just be a normal guy going through financial hardship, struggling to get back on their feet. It doesn't help that the country is going through terrible conditions, be it UK or America. :|

Tip.It times - 3rd October 2010
Since when are opinion essays supposed to be unbiased? Tip It Times has features and editorials, it doesn't report the news. Seriously, people need to stop criticizing articles on the merit of bias. Saying "that's your opinion" is quite possibly the most meaningless criticism you could ever make to someone, because literally everything could be construed as an opinion. When it's presented as fact, it is in a position where it can be argued against. And facts aren't opinion, facts are facts, so no, not everything can be 'construed' (wtf does that mean) as opinion.

Efficiency
Guys I'm the most efficient player ever. I don't use the GE, I kill goblins with and easter carrot and I use wind strike with -65 mage Oh, and I shall address jrhairychest by a random girl's name from now on, hi Charlotte

Efficiency
I am critical thinker with a closed mind. I only troll when I disagree with something. Thats not often I promise. I can't see what you put in front of my face 10 times. Try harder. Efficiency can be defined with Pythagorean's Theorem. "Make 4mil gp/hr"^2 + "Spend 10mil gp/hr"^2 = "fun"^2 Cool quotes, where did you get em from?

Efficiency
I disagree with the first statement. Again, we can all claim it. We disagree on how it's defined so we agree to disagree. Go on, give examples, you know you want to. I'm not after a guide at all. I'll get those from the guides section. Just some sort of justification as to why you consider yourself an efficient player. Combat is just one aspect of the wider picture. How do I believe something you're reluctant to prove? Just how many are friends of yours is irrelevant. I knew that my initial post would have the swarm come in, and interestingly at pretty much the same time. They were practically fighting each other to post insults in my direction. I just sat back and let it happen. Shows how just how the pathetic pack hunting goes on and how they have very little to bring to the table. More the fool them for wasting their own time. Like anyone cares. We're efficient because we can and will do things the quickest way possible, is it that hard to understand? Edit - Oh, and cool, admitting that you are a troll. Really makes you a reputable Tifer.

Vegetarianism
I don't see why you would hate the girl for doing that. I do that all the time. At my work, a lot of my coworkers order in pizza sometimes, and they'll say to me, "We got pepperoni, but you can have some if you want," assuming that I would be fine with removing the meat or fat. I would never, ever pick off pepperoni from a pizza, mop up the juice, and then turn around and eat it. That's like asking a vegetarian to drink a cup of chicken broth, just because it technically doesn't have meat in it. And for what it's worth, while your friend EJ's reason is perfectly valid, I find that Random Girl's reasoning for being a vegetarian is far more honorable and respectable. The real thing that annoys me about it is the whole "I see the animal's tortured face and feel super guilty D:" thing. That just isn't true. It isn't like they have some psychic perception that tells them whether or not they're eating meat, nor even what kind of animal it is. If she eats a school lunch, does she see a raccoon? Of course not. It might also help to add that this person is a daoist, who believes that the "Universe" will take care of everything, and that you can sit back and everything takes care of itself. :\ It's really the whole mindset that I dislike. Another mindset that bugs me is that 'killing livestock is cruel'. Even if they have the right to live, it's silly to say that killing these animals are 'cruel', because even out in the wild, they won't die of old age with their family by their bedside holding their hands. They usually get eaten, and being eaten is usually more frightening/painful than the way they get killed in a slaughterhouse. Except these animals wouldn't even be there if not for food production. They basically get created so they can be killed (and eaten). Which brings us to the next question, is it better to create life and then let it live a pretty horrible life and kill it, or just not to create it at all? That is the fault of the American Meat Industries, not the meat eater's. Bad practices in producing livestock isn't really our fault, because we're not the ones raising it. If we're talking about life in the strict sense, growing vegetables for the sole purpose of harvesting it is also 'murder'. But personally, I think it's not entirely ethical to raise animals solely for slaughter though. Perhaps we should find a more sustainable wild food source, certain species of fish that never stops breeding.

Bug abuse ehy... He's probably referring to the eat right before damage calculation thing. Not sure if that's bug abuse, though

Not useless. Almost useless. It is still a good PvP weapon choice, it has a good special attack and acts as a strong primary weapon without risking much in a +1 world- Tip.It times - 3rd October 2010
[hide] You continue to assume that efficiency is IMPOSSIBLE to attain' date=' without being bored. SIMPLY NOT TRUE. Citation needed to prove this is true of efficient players. 5.) It does' date=' according to my style of play. I am an achievement player. Making, meeting, and exceeding goals is what I play for, in large part. If I achieve more, for less, in a shorter amount of time, then other players, I AM better, by definition. The definition of Better is, among other things: To surpass or exceed, More highly skilled or adept, More useful, suitable, or desirable. Hmm. Once again, I am better in the game. This has nothing to do with my real life standing, my "worth", etc. 9.) Do you really mean this? So, you are for allowing anything, as long as it is in the rules? I should hold you to this. From now on, you have NO excuse to complain against anything which is within RS rules, and Jagex ToS. No more complaining about 76k'ers, rushers, etc. 10. [/hide] I barely glanced through the article. But I do agree with you on that mostly, how long did it take you to write that response?- Efficiency
Can you show me where it's against the rules, or that skills aren't linked in any way, or that Jagex said it wasn't supposed to play this way? His point wasn't Jagex said you should trade to play right, his point was Jagex never told us the "correct" way to play, so stop trying to tell people there's a "right" way to play the game, because there isn't. (waits for JR to say the efficient guys are telling people there's 'right' ways to play, even though they haven't) Claiming that it's more efficient to play inefficiently is just wrong. Which is just what jrhairychest is doing ooookaay...? Why did you quote me to say that? Not sure why I quoted you, I usually respond to the last relevant person who quoted someone that I was making a point at.- Efficiency

Interesting idea. But shouldn't you only be using 2 points per lure anyway? Ahrims and Battlerobes degrade before I use up an inventory of prayer pots- Efficiency

Can you show me where it's against the rules, or that skills aren't linked in any way, or that Jagex said it wasn't supposed to play this way? How does rules even relate to this? You're nothing but a failed troll. Nobody has to play your style, stop preaching ignorant child.- Efficiency
Oh for the sake of sanity and the rest of the players who might learn something from this thread, don't respond to him. He will tell you that he knows it can't be done, because he has never tried it. That is the 10 word summary of all his useless spam on this thread. Ignore him, he is a troll. I have never tried dying, so it can't happen. On Topic; Would you find playing RuneScape fun, if you did everything in an inefficient manner? Such as refusing to use the GE, Slaying for xp, and doing other things deemed inferior? Not using the GE and being efficient don't connect, but to answer your question. No, i wouldn't, which is why I don't train skills like Runecrafting and Hunter, because I don't find them fun. However, the things I do find fun, I do efficiently, because I find it more fun that way. [/hide] Pretty sure not using the GE means DIY'ing everything, which is 'less efficient' most of the time. I don't do boring, low rewarding skills because it's so slow to train, hence playing inefficiently isn't fun at all. Oh sorry, I misread it. How ever, you're wrong about slaying being inefficient, as you gain more Total xp/hr doing slayer then you would camping a monster for just combat xp (unless your master doesn't like you, and gives you every slow task possible) Anyways, misreading aside, I still answered your question Slaying is the most efficient way to gain slayer xp. Not for other levels. But if one of your goals is to reach max stats, then yeah, you're right, slaying is efficient- Efficiency
okay so about the divine. it's 557.9m, 585.8m max in the ge. you have two options for getting a divine. the first is getting the gp then sniping it. just getting the gold will take around 150 hours. then you're looking at camping the ge for 1-6 hours a day for about a week before the price updates - another 30 hours we'll say. 180 hours. THEN you have to wait several weeks and MAYBE you will get the shield. otherwise it'll be another 10 hours of money making and 30 hours of camping the ge and several weeks waiting to MAYBE get a shield. OR you make the 1.5b, and buy the shield + junk for cash. it'd take you about 375 hours, then probably 10-25 hours of actual "shopping" on the rsof to find and haggle with a seller with the junk or do intermediate trades. it'll take you about 15-25 hours to shift 1b junk, and you'll lose probably about 15-20% of that 1b. so either way you're looking at 200, 250, 300 or more hours to get a divine. plus you get NO xp during any of the trading, so there's additional losses there. as for his stats, he has not been playing as much for as long as many others, i know that much for sure. please don't play the "level card", especially when YOUR stats are pitiful compared to his. can you show me where jagex said that not trading and DIY is the way the game was meant to be played? maybe you should read about something called emergent gameplay "Hi I am jrhairychest and I shall claim that it's impossible to make 1m/h because I have never done so. Also, DIY is the best way to play RuneScape because I hate clicking on the GE and pressing 'Buy Death Rune'. You have max stats but you have no stats to prove that you can make 4m/h, although I have pitiful stats compared to 99% of the RuneScape community. Being efficient is stupid because it isn't fun. You're all 12 years old, and don't know what this is." On topic; I don't get what's so efficient about training skills you hate, really. Most of the idiots here are just too stubborn to accept simple knowledge, it's almost like they're trolling.- Bots are making a come-back
kill green dragons - rage at the quantity of bots there, lol Bots very rarely exist in PvP. Pretty sure those can reach 3m/h if you're doing it right- Efficiency
