Looking at your magic level, you'd get something like 130 charms/h. And you might get crashed due to low combat/using bursts. Cost.. when I barraged it was roughly 1k barrages = 420 crimsons. Gathering charms with barrages is like 200/h. Do the math from there.

There is no efficient way to kill waterfiends using Defensive mode. Your best bet is to either; Use Zspear and just put up with slow defence xp. And powertrain at armoured zombies after. EDIT - You can Defensive barrage at Rock Lobsters. That would give you some fast xp in summoning, defense, mage and hps.

Borderline overpowered. Honestly, i've been beaten in my tank gear by people who weren't even wearing a plate and legs. They just soul split and turmoil, and if they don't kill me, they put a huge dent in my LP before going down(I mostly FFA clan wars, and DA). But i guess if they spend 150M on prayer, they deserve the effectiveness. I don't know. I don't have huge inputs of money like boss hunting and bounty hunter, so i guess it's my fault. I would go with the prayers. From level 80, it costs 150M to get 95 on a G alter. Although I'm not too clear on how much herblore costs. Haven't really researched it. But considering how much you have to spend to buy overloads or extremes, the prayers would be a lot more effective in the long run. Ah; I only say I would go for herblore more because I was faced with the same scenario. I expected herbs to crash down and herblore to become cheap once the fad was over, but nope, it got more expensive. I got prayer up, found soulsplit and turmoil useful, but I would be wayy better off with overloads outside of PvP. There's not just 2 useful potions. And they aren't just melee based either. Overloads benefits a warrior just as much as it benefits a ranger. Using Brews instead of sharks/rocktails also means you last longer, and don't lose attack turns. I would definately think Overloads is better than turmoil, as long as you fight monsters. They are almost equal in terms of accuracy or dps (extremes + piety vs turmoil + supers). The way I see it, is, unless you want to PvP, go for herblore first. And herblore costs nothing/profits you if you clean herbs too. Just 'costs' time.

I use a laptop and I use mousekeys... But having a mouse is better than the touchpad. The thing is; How long it takes really depends on YOUR attention span. Some people hate it, some people find it's the only way. Some people find it awesome. Once you reach level 65, you can do cadantines. 12k herbs = 150k xp. Do that everyday and you'll get it in less than 2 months Edit - A mouse isn't expensive.. Move the mouse and spam 5 and the + button. Simple.

I already told you. You can mousekey herb cleaning. Even if you can only acheive 5k/h, you are still getting ~44k/h xp (irits). That xp alone is worth 1m, and you can profit from it. The market currently is more volatile than usual due to the new skill I agree, but after everything starts rising again, you should clean herbs.

Supersets much? You there are still useful pots that are trade-able that don't require an arm and a leg and hours of training to use, they just aren't as effective as extremes/overloads (And superantifires, but that's beside the point). I would go with herb if you plan on boss hunting a lot; I casually slay so I'm planning on getting higher prayer first since it's cheaper and suits my needs fine. Supersets? You either; Use normal food which costs more gp/hp, less hps per inventory space (difference of roughly 40hp per slot), and losing combat turns from eating. OR you use brews to last longer but fight with base stats because Saradomin Brews lowers stats. Overloads you can just brew for food, restore back up and wait for the 15 second extreme set boost you would get. Sure, the Overloads do cost, but they make your trip last so much longer that it's worth using. And I'm not even finished; You can use Super Prayer potions and Special Recover potions to last even longer still. So Overloads >>> SuperSets. Plus the fact that Super sets require 3 times more space. It's pretty damn fair to say Super Sets suck compared to Ovls.

If you're making THAT little gp/h, you are definately better off cleaning herbs. Use mousekeys with the 5 and + button keys spammed (you do this manually), moving your own mouse to clean the herbs. Probably not, as Dharok is only a little bit better than waterfiends and I'm pretty sure maul does less damage than Dharok at ~200LP. Again, it really comes down to whether or not the maul is 3 or 4 speed. Maul is most likely 3 speed (considering granite maul is) However; A maul within the dungeon itself is speed4, so I'd just assume it's godsword speed outside the dungeons too.

They even mention it in chat. If it truly halves damage, that means you hit 58s with Leaf-bladed sword... No one is sure. Perhaps it's the way the Corporeal Beast's shell/skin was made, to be strong against slash and and crush but weak to stabbing. I'm not sure, I just think of him like a slayer monster

Brews being tradeable isn't the point; the point is, with overloads, you'd get your stats kept high, without, you're going to monsterhunt with base stats. And it's obvious that monsterhunting with base stats just suck

If you stand around the rares section of W2 for long enough, you'd sometimes see dungeoneering items being bought/sold. Something's wrong with this game. Saw a "Selling R.A.R.E Katagon arrows for Crown!!!" offer earlier. This game is getting dumber. Or at least; the players are.
