Team Boss Hunting
Well, they are. Have you ever heard of turmoil, and possibly overloads? Have you ever heard that not everyone has stats like yours? Not every boss can have a level of over 9,000. That's not the point, the point was, the figures were correct. But this thread is kinda stupid, most people dont have turmoil and overloads with the best gear around.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
I'd rather just make ranging mixes (2). Profit is like 3m/h without all the running.

What levels have you gained so far??
Only 97 summoning, was trying for 99 but far too busy in real life so =(. If there is a next week, I'm getting 96 herblore and 99 summon.

Do you like change?
Just think how much better at maths we might become. Lol'd. I think the update itself should be more optional, as most bosses will take alot of time to adjust to (corporeal beast hitting a 50 would be a 5). I think eventually most people will be used to it, returning players are going to get a surprise but beyond that its a decent update. It really does remind me of the hp bar update, it was a good update, just took time to get used to

Ice Burst - Bug fix
Happened to me multiple times, they use a msb/karil's xbow then burst to lock the freeze forever

03-Mar-10 Changes to HP Skill, Shattered Heart, RuneScape Lobby/Login Changes, Success at Smelting Iron
    Seriously, I don't understand how people are so angry over this completely minor change... an extra digit added to HP. Big deal -- you'll get used to it.. complain about something worth complaining. I agree, I completely hate this update but I'm dealing with it, because it's pretty much like the hp bar update, it was awkard but you'd get used to it.

That's just grasping at straws to explain this change. They could already have done that with the HP skill. Sara brews already work like that. Rocktails heal beyond your HP. However, Constitution potions can boost that boost even further, plus the fact that disease would become more deadly.

Save the Date! 26-Feb-2010
I guess over half of RuneScape is selling their high end armours and weapons for the cheap summon/herblore xp you can gain. Lol Overloads with mousekeys will be roughly 3m xp for the first hour. Pretty insane if you ask me. Talon beasts are theoretically 8m xp for the first hour too. Hmm...

Today...
Lol'd. Technically your father isn't your guardian unless you can prove he's your father, and even though the account is yours, they see it as the money in your account is still under the responsibility of your parents until you are no longer a minor. That's what I think. My today has been a bit crap, yesterday was a different story, went to London but that was pretty much it. =(

Save the Date! 26-Feb-2010
Actually, near 2000 is pretty close.

Save the Date! 26-Feb-2010
Yes. Every normal way of getting xp works. By not normal I mean things like penguins and lamps. And you just reminded me of chinning... =( I want 99 ranged but I want 99 summoning more

Save the Date! 26-Feb-2010
I'm totally doing that too. I just need to start gathering charms for 99 summoning. Hopefully with double xp for roughly 6 hours, I'll be able to actually get it. Slightly offtopic; How fast can you obtain nail beast charms?

Lol at this thread. Anyways, I'm just wondering about how the economy is taking it's toll. Hmm.

What animal your own weight can you beat in barehand combat
Did you even read the first post of this thread? Having a weapon would give you an instant advantage, barehand combat wise... not so much. I think unless the rabid animal is slow or simply stupid, anything your own weight will be a challenge. I think I could take on say, a wild angry boar or something. Just kick it loads >.>

8.8-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Chile
Tragic, but inevitable. Well, I think it's actually pretty fortunate that Chile is way more prepared than Haiti, which were totally devestated after a relatively weak earthquake. Hmm

School used student laptop webcams to spy on them at school and home.
Yeah man, lets blame the victim. And that chick who got raped totally deserved it, she shouldn't have gotten drunk or dressed so suggestively. And that dude who got mugged deserved it because he shouldn't have been walking down that street at night. Well said, it is illogical and plain stupid to start blaming the victim. Unless it is obvious something is up with the webcam, it shouldn't have been recording anything or took pictures.

Heh, Humans. We are great survivors, with the brain roughly 6 times bigger than need be. This is why the human race has 'technology', because our ability to understand and learn science is what seperates us from the other animals. With a sword or some form of weapon, humans can fight animals many times bigger than themselves. This thread just shows how weak the human race is without any form of weapons. With correct training, a human can easily take out cows and perhaps a bear. Hmm.

Looking at ranks on the hiscores, definately noticing a change. I mean, look at RuneMonkey on ranks which you didn't even gain xp in. Hopefully we'll see a sticky showing figures on how many were banned, this is on par with the penguins bug. Literally billions of gp's created if a player botted it.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Lovely idea, bad execution. You always have to take into account a few other items, such as manipulation crap people will accept, whether for junk or as a rising. Easters are semi stable, but when they reach a higher price, merchants lose confidence. Plus it's not even that rarely traded on the GE, every few days it rises in value. That's probably more traded than Vesta's longsword. Heh

Definately alot of people abusing this. I think it would be a nice idea to check the hiscores of those who gained mage ranks, because it was the enc hantment of the bolts which was the part which gained any xp. I think even bots started abusing this bug. Luckily for me, as with most bugs, I wouldn't even know about it and it would be patched. I'd be wayyy too tempted. Hmm.

School used student laptop webcams to spy on them at school and home.
Actually it was a search for Ibuprofen, which are about the strength of four Tylennols. Or something close to that. I was supposed to write a paper on that. Never really finished. Whoops. Slight misinformation I guess. But I don't get the point of stripsearching an underaged girl for ibuprofen, it's not exactly a strong drug like cocaine. Meh. It's called zero tolerance for a reason.... That's the point. Zero tolerence in a acceptable manner is fine. Stripsearching a 14 year old for ibuprofen with no real evidence of her hiding it or any reason to believe that they may be attached to her nude body thus it is wrong and illegal to do so. And even if they were required to stripsearch the girl; they'd call the police, and they'd do it under supervised staff in a professional way. Anyways, getting back on topic; I still think bugging someone's home with tampered webcams is illegal and immoral. Feel free to prove me otherwise.

What animal your own weight can you beat in barehand combat
:o Are you saying you are 400lbs, and have the ability to defeat a vicious, adult whale in the water with your bare hands? Adult whale, my [wagon]. At 400 lbs it wouldn't have even been born yet. Love handles would be incredibly effective. Obesity might actually be helpful. Maybe by the time the rabid animal claws through your immense girth and reaches your vital organs it'll be too tired to move and you can sit on it or something... I said adult because that's what the OP specifies. I think if you're a master at Karate or Martial arts you'd stand a chance. The "GodHand" guy was able to defeat 500lb cows, 3/52 with a single blow. Bruce lee's punches reach over 700lbs of force at 1/500 of a second, also stands quite a chance (well, not anymore since he's dead)
