I say lunch just because it's my breakfast. I don't eat breakfast. I also generally dislike most "breakfast foods." By definition, a more accurate description would be 'brunch', since it fits the criteria of being the first thing you eat in the day, as well as meeting the criteria of eating at the middle of the day.

Breakfast is typically considered as the 'most important meal of the day' because it's exactly what's in the name: Breaking of a fast. When your body has not had any food for many hours (during sleep), it 'needs' food to keep blood sugar levels stable, keep metabolism high and provides energy for day to day activities. It also helps concentration too. Weight gain is typical for those who skip breakfast as those who does the malpractice tends to get cravings due to very low blood sugar levels, thus often overeating. Combined with poor metabolism and lack of exercise, the result is what 1/3 of american adults are today. Unspam:

Dammit. I'm hungry watching the videos that I posted ._. Actually found a very simple, yet tasty looking recipe for a pasta sauce: http://foodwishes.blogspot.com/2010/09/penne-pasta-with-spicy-sausage-ragu-if.html

Well, I went on a little quest to see how many recipes I could find on foodwishes for OTM. Apparently, I found quite a few. Not all of them have cheap ingredients, though - be warned about that. 6. Computer illiterate people. Seriously, I saw a middle aged parent trying to operate Microsoft Word and failing miserably. Worst of all, he refused any help he was offered, claiming that he knew what he was doing. We need a facepalm smiley on TIF for this sole reason.
  7. I wanted to edit this in my previous post but it'll make it too long to read. http://www.adequacy.org/stories/2001.12.2.42056.2147.html <- My god people are stupid. There's more logical fallacies in there than there is bots on RuneScape. Perhaps the worst troll article I've seen thus far.
  8. Heh, this is why perhaps even the cheesier martial arts movies are better than some of these CSI movies, mainly because they're horrible inaccurate and often wrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXW-HnRSrbQ That's a good example of how wrong film makers can be. EDIT - It gets worse.
  9. Seems like a long post to fully read at this time of night. I'm unsure what you mean by 'if the Euro is viable'. The problem I see with the Euro is the base interest rates - with booming growth in Germany and the economic crisis in Greece, it's clear that there needs to be a better system which governs the base rates, as it has a significant effect on economic growth and decline. Hmmm. Could you also clarify the effects of Eastern markets such as China, and the social/political/economical effects of them being the largest creditor to the US?
  10. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Change back to the old name Any suggestions? Not Trolling The Flying Spaghetti Monster told me that I ought to get a better display name. Cynic was taken so I called myself a skeptic >.<. On Topic: Contradicting advice.

  12. The lack of activity on Tipit Forums. *rage*
  13. I somehow typed up a little rant. Here it is: I care less about my weight itself – it’s more about the mental and physical wellbeing, which involves my physique. A common misconception is that to live and eat healthily is too ‘hard’ - but it really isn’t. Whilst radical changes of the diet to become the equivalent of rabbit feed are overdoing it, eating a diet purely consisting of junk food will do the body no good either. Small changes make the biggest differences – you’re less likely to give it up. A healthy diet doesn’t have to consist purely of salads, tofu and fruits – it could be as simple as choosing fruit juice instead of soda, or fish instead of beef. Eating healthily is simply a matter of choice – do you want to feel more physically active? Eating healthily doesn’t have to be expensive or disgusting either – there are plenty of dishes that are nutritious and tasty, like steamed or grilled fish for instance. It provides plenty of protein, essential fatty acids and its low in saturated fats – an example of cheap fish would be Pollack, or Bream. What about vegetables? Eat frozen – it’s cheaper, and probably higher in nutrients (arguable, depending on the supplier). Buying in bulk saves money, and you don’t need to buy organic to eat healthily. Invest in a good freezer and a steamer – it’s worth it. Instead of reaching for the soda, try fruit juice (not the store bought stuff, fresh juice made at home), or water, or tea (not the English stuff with lots of milk and sugar, things like Jasmine tea). Arguably, soda is one of the most unessential calories you could get. What about exercise? You don’t have to sign up at an expensive gym to exercise – even walking counts. Walk to school or work if it’s close or cycle if it’s a little further. Why waste the money on fuel? Perhaps consider doing a sport if you’re not already, or even martial arts. In the long term, you may even save money by living healthily because of the reduced health implications in the future. Whilst a big change is great, small changes are a good place to start. Figure out what’s stopping you changing your unhealthy habits - all it requires is the will to change.
  14. What people don't tend to realize is how difficult the bot banning procedure really is. JaGex can't ban people on the basis of suspicion - with millions of active users, with many paying members, inefficiencies in the system is likely to cause mass hysteria amongst the RuneScape community. That's likely to result in a PR disaster, something that JaGex shouldn't want to happen. Assuming that it requires a system update in order to change the item ID's - the proposed 'solution' of changing them every few hours would be detrimental to gameplay; things like the Fight Caves, Dungeoneering and bossing will be extremely frustrating to do. Randoms are proven to be ineffective against bots (judging by the progress reports and swift fixes programmers do), and you have to consider how it'll affect real players. The purpose of bot eradication would be to make RuneScape more enjoyable to the RuneScape community - it would be counter productive if the new randoms confuse legitimate players. You can't be sure that JaGex doesn't have a sophisticated team of experts trying their hardest to eradicate botters, it may just be that the problem is too big for them to handle effectively. That's why I've written an article about it - I feel that the real solution has to be tackled at the core of the problem, RuneScape's gameplay itself. Oh, and regarding JaGex not 'caring' about bots - They should care, because bots are slowly but surely replacing legitimate members. When this bubble bursts, with no demand to satisfy as too many players has quit, RuneScape could collapse as there would be too few memberships to sustain the company. Is that something that JaGex wants?

  17. Are those two parts of your statement related  ? I am by chance actually writing a rather big fictional :P It will still take some time until I'm finished, though... I forgot the 'also' in that response lol. Edit - Sour skittles to anyone who can figure out the Easter Egg in the fictional. (Hamtaro excluded from this :o)
  18. I'd somewhat agree - there has been such a trend of beating the deadhorse topic that it just gets frustrating to read after a while. But hey, my recent article is probably the only one I'll make about 'em, until something changes about them... maybe. I'll personally assure that when Croce's article gets posted, that the readers shall be stunned though :).
  19. Whoa, what happened to Croce's article? 2 guest articles this week :/. The first article had a good concept, with a good premise to build upon. However, there's some parts of it that appear slightly repetitive, which tires the reader a bit. Factoring in the fact that it's only Missingno's second article, it's actually a very good effort at the article. I feel the second article is written with too much bias, with much of the theme slamming at players. Some statements are very subjective too, yet the author fails to elaborate why he believes something, such as the following: "the novelty of the completionist cape has worn off." It's a good effort, but it really fails to meet the standards that the Times should have. Gotta love the fictional though. Keep it up! Edit - @Jona Yep, it's a great fictional. You should submit more works to the Times :)
