Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
I've always wanted to watch someone who really deserves death to die of some rather unsavory means - reserved for the most prolific offenders throughout history. People like Harold Shipman (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/2136444.stm), or Delroy Grant serve as good examples (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-12803014).

Youtube linking accounts rant
Your complaint is sound, your judgement is not. Youtube is the primary source of video sharing because of it's popularity and ease of use, and also the lack of filters that most schools/establishments have on it (it's known to be strict upon adult content). Dailymotion has an easy to bypass 'Family content block', so no, I wouldn't agree with your suggestion. Vimeo, or a similar website however, may work. EDIT - Regardless of what you consider to be a 'minor crime', 'hacking' by definition entails a breach of account security, which is as serious if not more so than theft. Your 'right to choice' is irrelevant - it's a privilege to use their services, not a right. They're not obliged to provide you an account if they so wish. Besides, how does that 'right' justify committing a crime with malicious intent? Lastly, I don't believe the title of this thread is appropriate, it should merely be called a rant against Youtube.

Does anyone know if there's a recipe for the Hearty Italian bread for Subways anywhere? I couldn't seem to find any :(

The Sleep Thread
@Nox; Have you ever tried pulling a successful allnighter, so you could subsequently allow yourself to sleep when you're sufficiently tired at an appropriate? Most of the time I can't sleep because I find myself too engaged on RuneScape or Tip.it to be able to, but if I'm already too tired, that's impossible so I manage to go to bed and wake up with sufficient rest for my education. I think that's especially applicable to us, who happen to be gamers. Having the commitment to pull an allnighter is rather difficult from personal experience - after a while you feel very drowsy, feeling almost like you would lose consciousness at any moment. Coffee and such would help, and you do have to allow an extra bit of sleep (2-3 hours more than you would normally feel is sufficient, which is 10 hours instead of 7.5 for me). However, the difficulty doesn't discredit it nor mean that it's not worthwhile - it's a very quick way to get into the correct sleeping pattern. I'll have to admit the summer really screwed me over. Glad that's over now.

Today...
Today, I went back to College (the equivalent of sixth form high school for Americans) for my second day. It turned out pretty nice - I had a fun little time trolling my new classmates, and the course seems relatively easy. I did invoke a little heated discussion when I suggested the 'Holy Bible' may not be a credible source, when discussing the need for validating information obtained from the internet. Overall, a fun day.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Whilst that's true, it's easier to find a universal definition for those terms than ones which describe personal experience. Furthermore, depending on context, it may be quite easily objectively verifiable.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
When people bicker over a subjective subject, like whether it should be declared that one whom fights cancer is a hero, or if the said person is brave for fighting cancer. The truth value of that statement or judgement is highly dependent on how one defines those rather ambiguous umbrella terms, and it may only apply to some. Also, I don't see the point in arguing over something so trivial. On the contrary, I do enjoy participating in a debate which is rather consequential though.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
So, in a nutshell, you made rather uncompromising presumptions and sweeping generalisations about RuneScape players, and you then proceeded to bash them and the game on the basis of that reasoning? At least, that's what I can infer from watching it. No 'unspam' unfortunately EDIT - I'm not sure what you were trying to imply by labeling the video 'my [your] opinion', but it does happen to suggest that some sort of right/entitlement to have an opinion makes your argument irrefutable, which is ridiculous. I am only speculating on this point though, so feel free to correct me.

The Sleep Thread
The only solution that I could come up with thus far would be to do some all-nighters successfully. I'll eventually fall into the habit of getting tired at the right time to go to bed >.<

The Sleep Thread
Ah, the problem is actually waking up and not turning the alarm off. I've slept through thunderstorms and such before xD

The Sleep Thread
Summer has passed, and for most of us, school or college has started. Alike most of you, I struggle to sleep on a schedule during the holidays - I sleep when I'm tired, and that generally revolves around sleeping between 3am and 6am in the morning. The impact of it's evident on my grades, and I feel we ought to have a thread discussing it. Do you have any advice to share for a good night's rest? Does anyone have a nice story to tell? What do you dream about? Post it here!

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
The above quote is drawn from the 'Today...' thread, which illustrates exactly what people tend to annoyingly do - scapegoat racism and deliberately accuse someone of being a racist should they happen to be of a different ethnic origin. Speaking of racists, I don't see anything wrong with disliking someone of different ethnic backgrounds, should the reasoning be valid. The presumption that it constitutes racism is rather unfounded, as it refers to prejudgement on the basis of one's colour/skin/ethnicity, which the above is not. I judge people by their behaviour, personality and actions. If they so happen to fit a racist stereotype, then so be it. I'm amused yet frustrated at the amount of people who fail to understand the basic concept of prejudgement and racism.

A sad fact about erections: It's incredibly difficult to pee with one. This is particularly pertinent when waking up in the morning.

Tip.It Times - 4th September 2011 (Jiblix Interview)
I should read my posts before clicking submit (damn sleep deprivation). What I should have said is that they don't act in the best interests of the player community, and their motives is blurred from a player's perspective.

Tip.It Times - 4th September 2011 (Jiblix Interview)
Or, as mara_planter suggested in his/her(?) original post, he could have resigned his position and then done what he did. Question - If there's so much cynicism amongs the pmod community how come they don't resign their modship in disgust (you don't actually have to answer that point as I know what answer I'll get and from where ). I'm guessing because albeit much of the moderator communities feeling discontent, they still desire to better the community to make the game 'what it once was' - what's perceived to be a Utopia of sorts. Also, raising awareness is rather important, as although the issue of bots is frankly a dead horse, the magnitude of it is generally unnoticed, which appeared to be the goal of Jiblix when he made the video. Admittedly the judgement is somewhat influenced by nostalgia, but it's not untrue that JaGex's actions have been moving seemingly in a backwards direction, which can be rather well explained by the fact the investments were made by the rather shady companies with rather ulterior motives.

Food
I had beef jerky the other day for the first time ever. It's not bad, but I don't see the appeal. And it's certainly not better than sunflower seeds. It's like black coffee. It's an acquired taste.

Today, I had a pleasant discussion with my parents regarding ancient torture methods, and which would be worst in terms of amount of pain and suffering endured. We came to the conclusion that Scaphism would be one of the worst, if not the worst form of torture, due to the severe suffering for a prolonged period (takes over 2 weeks to die). It was fun. I hope to do that again.

I believe the charges were related to an unhealthy obsession with young children.

Rather old news. It is interesting how JaGex removes the affiliated content though.

Choosing a career and education
I believe my career path has always been somewhat influenced by my RuneScape career, as I plan to study Economics at University level. I've always found things like the effects of supply/demand, manipulation clans and such particularly intriguing, and it's great that it's rather relevant to the real world too (stock markets, financial investments, politics regarding taxation, etc.) I find it's particularly pertinent to today's society due to the nature of modern day economies, and it's also great because it's such a diverse subject to study in. There's almost bound to be some element of Economics in a part of every sector in business, and it's rather interesting to see where it would lead me. As a career, I'm not too sure - I feel I would change career paths quite a few times throughout my natural lifetime. Perhaps starting in the banking sector... or a teacher. Who knows?

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
My parents get real mad when they're criticised, so I criticise them a lot. By that, I mean every half an hour or so (maybe less).
