Blue secondaries would be much higher than they are now, and Crimson secondaries would be cheaper (since no one's actually going to use them anymore). Or, another solution would be; Don't make it so that you get exactly the same xp with better charms. A simple fix would be make a 50% markup on the amount of charms required, making it unworthy of making Crims -> Blues

i have never seen any manipulator, clan or otherwise, indefinitely hold the prices of a non-discontinued items artificially high. so no, based on what i've seen, it is not possible. Simple answer; No. Why would it rise again? In Economics, there's something called a 'Substitute good'. This makes the demand curve for the first product shift to the left (less demand), therefore the price equilibrium would be lower. Chaotic weapons are the substitute good. It's better, stronger, and is free. The only thing that keeps the price up of Bgs is Corp teams. I disagree on your reasoning. I'm pretty sure it's mainly because everyone who just gets 75 Attack immediately thinks Godswords are where it's at, so they're willing to pay the "low" price of a BGS over the others. That little misinformation is our most likely culprit. :rolleyes: A small portion of misinformed 'noobs' doesn't keep the demand curve high for very long. Unless you could prove there are a lot of these 'noobs' in proportion to those who actually know what a Chaotic can do, I'm still right.

Why are people so stupid? Even the arguments for CLS are usually stupid. I'll just have to repeat what I've said pages back. "I get CLS instead of Rapier because it's stronger" The rapier is 4 game ticks per hit, and the longsword is 5. The average hit of CLS must be 25% higher than the rapier to even match the same DPS. That difference is even harder to get when you are wearing armours that increase your bonuses, because it makes the bonus differences much less significant. If you get a CLS for the high hits, why not get the Chaotic Maul? Assuming the argument for CLS vs CR is "It hits higher", so does maul. Why don't people choose maul? The most common quote I've personally heard is, "It's slower". That contradicts the argument that CLS is not slow. People are just stupid these days. The only logical argument I see is monsters with a exclusive weakness to Slash, something that requires a 5 tick weapon, or something that is best fought with Divine. The only two situations I could see for that is Td's and Bandos. Even then, it's still arguable. Sigh
