  1. It's been a point of controversy in the discussion between the ranks. Ultimately we look at the 70 rc requirement the same way we treat our shadow silk hood requirement. if you don't have a shadow silk hood, we'll still take you because you'll probably get one eventually. If you don't have 70 rc, and don't have a hex or a comparably useful ammo bind. we're going to expect you to try to get 70 rc for a csb. Maybe not right away, but we expect you to devote some time to try to get it. The ranks will interpret "i don't plan to ever get 70 rc" very differently from "i don't have 70 rc yet" remember, if we rank you with single stripe, it means we think you have a reasonable chance of getting a star rank in the future. Without a csb, and without the intention to ever get a csb, it's very hard for us to believe that you will ever get a star rank. Thus we probably won't be inclined to take you in our floors.
  2. I use fraps + Vdub Runescape caps at 50 FPS so never go above that. I use 25 FPS generally. I usually record full resolution, but half is fine i guess. i use Vdub with DIVX compression at a quality rating of 4 (1 best, 31 worst)
  3. if you have easy access to spirit bloom and 4 blue charms like, within the first 5 minutes of the floor. Then yes, make one and give it to a DPSer If you have easy access to spirit bloom but only like 1 blue charm, you can, but it's a gamble that you might not have ragers for the boss. If it's between the 5 and 10 minute mark, it's a grey zone in my opinion. wouldnt consider it after the 10 minute mark.
  4. I seem to be following up your posts a lot today, lol. Don't make slingers solely for the purpose of doing Thundy. He's a fast boss as it is, and I'm fairly sure your time is better spent attacking him for 20 attack turns than making a slinger. (I don't have math to prove this, but from personal experience, this is my observation.) Just would like to point out that in gds slingers have higher overall dps as they don't need to move to switch targets. by that logic, stormbringers would be the best DPS since they don't need to do that either, and have the best accuracy against zombies and skeletons.
  5. ur not 99 atk/str/def either cannon + slayer tbh
  6. Which skill is 95 and which are 96? You didn't tell me what stats to assume for the target, assume equal stats? or 99 stats? Please just actually list out the weapon stats, and all of them. you left out the strength bonus for like everything but rapier + CKS also i'm not calculating all the numbers for you :P but for rapier + CKS, assume 99 stats for everyone, 480 stab defense, both users on aggressive style Average damage per attack is: 25.39 LP 25.38 if you switch to accurate. Normally accurate is better dps at low accuracies of 15-16% accuracy, by tiny margins, but in this exact scenario, the rounding error on the max hit of the accurate stance, was unfavorable. So accurate actually worse.
  7. also make a 250 x 150 pixel mini version of it too plz
  8. gold charms make 1500 ish profit per war tortoise atm. you should possibly consider that. thats about 4.5 mil gp/hour with a kyatt, ignoring time it takes you too loot the gold charms. obviously at 99 summoning and 5 mil gp/hour+ and no goals for 200mil summoning, you'd have little incentive to loot them. you still want some summoning xp though right? this still seems like a reasonably good deal if your not 99. and not making on the roder of 5 mil gp/hour. i won't calculate the actual efficiency number for you though, too many variables involved in determining how much "time" it costs you to loot gold charms :P
  9. yeah, gut instincts says maul's probably better at 480 equipment defense too.
  10. You can find the details on my spreadsheets at www.[Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] But if you don't know what i'm talking about then: Air bstaffs are generally the most efficient for almost all incomes. Sometimes certain d'hide bodies are more efficient at high incomes, and due to price fluctuations. Sometimes certain jewelry namely diamond jewelry actually make reasonable profit. And clockwork cats sell for a surprising amount of money, but the xp rate is really bad and you obviously can't do this in much volume.
  11. you could plug this into my melee dps spreadsheet. It's on www.[Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] for a quick answer but i can do it for you, can you just do me the favor of actually calculating the atk and strength bonuses? You also did not list your combat stats, am i to assume lvl 99 all melees for both players?
  12. You can check out my [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] spreadsheets @ www.[Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] if you want a breakdown of all the [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] per hour if you want the details. it's worth noting that you can speed up a lot of fletching training methods by making 1 set of ammo at a time. I prefer to not rush my fletching. there's many things to do on the way to maxing, where you can find time to fletch ammo in between. Most notably, livid farm. I believe broad arrows are most efficient even at as low as like 1.5 mil gp/hour income. But you don't really necessarily need that speed if you plan to fletch as a means of multitasking.
  13. this image you mean? i think ur looking for this thread btw: http://forum.tip.it/topic/273056-discussion-update-teasers/page__st__1720
  14. C6's can be efficient if executed perfectly, but if so, it's still only a marginal benefit. It's not so much debunked so much as it is, not really worth the effort. You need pretty good DGers, and generally need a hex. Teams for this can be hard to find, which I think is the biggest reason. I would much rather C2 fish for the fishing xp personally.
  15. i'd go with ape atoll if ur using surefooted :P
  16. 13 mil is from 1-99, 92-99 should be around half that so it seems about right. At 6 mil/340 per zombie it comes out to about 1/1200. By that note it looks like you got lucky compared to 1/1800 he did attack AND defense from 92 to 99
  17. no, i'm not referring anything. If you don't have the mindset to enjoy the particular method, you *will* get lower xp. As stated, not doing ZMI. As for familiar, as stated, less hassle, and the difference isn't worth it to me, as i make various stops at the G.E. while rc'ing, so costs start going up with dismissing/summoning. That, and i don't have the ideal summoning level, to have abby titan. abby titan isnt better than any other runecrafting familiar. if anything it's worse because its timer is shorter.
  18. Reasons for wilderness course being better? they both max at about 50k xp/hour the only difference is fail rates and pking, the former of which is probably untested.
  19. Bots or not, i'm sure it's due in no small part to 30-120 snapdragons noted being added to the rare drop table.
  20. rubber blackjack can actually be amazing xp if you hit your timings right consistently. Otherwise i'd recommend normal blackjacking @ pollivneach. if not that, then sorceress' garden. It would be Ape atoll for agility. As for crafting the [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] you want on my spreadsheets @ www.[Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] Unfortunately due to [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] circumstances I can not [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] tell you where my [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] spreadsheets are [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation]. But if you search [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] on [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation], [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] I am sure you will be able to find [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation].
  21. assuming 97 strength and 99 ranged. and assuming you're using +15% prayers. addy arrows on a shortbow with rapid will give you a max damage per game tick of 61.33 gravite rapier on aggressive will give you a max damage per game tick of 54.5
  22. Like Brunokiller said, you forgot that the mace gives you a 10% magic bonus. And, actually, God Spells with Charge hit higher then Surge spells. Although Surges are supposedly better then God Spells because they have higher accuracy, according to people who spend far more time then me researching it. i've never actually seen any data on this. well i saw latin post some numbers on the various ancient magic barrage spells, but he never stated what his sample size was so im just going to assume it was tiny.
  23. that's what I did From my experience, the drop rate is about 1/10. There is a rumor floating about that the drop rate decreases, the more court cases you do. I wouldnt be able to confirm though, as I don't do court cases, or look into them.
