  1. And thus ends page 69.
  2. Now that's just rude that's what that is.
  3. If you look at it that way, sure. I'd agree that's a wrench it that line of thought. But if we're trusting that they are going through with this update then why wouldn't we trust the word of a jmod speaking on that same subject? Dunno. If we're going just off of personal feelings then? I don't care if gravestones are around or not, so long as things are lootable one way or another. Say that a grave collapses, and you can loot it only when that occurs. If we're going to party like it's 2007 though, I don't want them around at all. They're nice, but it'd be nice to have a little risk back in the game too. I'll give my personal opinion. Having being around both in the past and the present, I can say that I am the cockroach of this game. I don't care what the conditions are, I will adapt and change to meet them. But, personally...I am so confident in myself and I always play to lose. I always go to a bosshunting trip fully expecting to lose all of my stuff, and that is why I never bosshunt unless I KNOW I can afford to lose it. Having that safeguard there has never saved me. I'm not one to plead for blesses or place alt accounts to do the same. So, for me, I'd lose nothing if graves went away, as I am all but uncrashable (maxed combat, overloads, turmoil,) and I am experienced enough to know what to do if there are multiple people in the boss room (especially at DK's,) I could potentially gain some "dirty money" from anti-crashing, or crashing myself (I only crash at DK's, and I give fair warning that I WILL lure Prime on anyone who doesn't know how to deal with him, and I only crash in certain cases (e.g. someone solo maging in a low pop world where I want to tribrid,) but I really don't think I'll "go rogue" and become a hardcore crasher just because of material gain, because it takes all of the fun out of the game. So I don't care which way it goes, as long as the update is done RIGHT. No half-baked update that just ends up creating more problems than it solves.
  4. Seriously, how do we know anything. This is the same company who has said repeated times that the old ways of doing things will NEVER EVER COME BACK! How can we trust anything that ever comes out of their mouth AGAIN?
  5. Harry potter meme's r win. EDIT: UNSPAM OMFGGGGGGGGG ITS A MIRCALE OMFG CHRISTMAS CAME 3 DAYS EARLY ON MY BIRTHDAY OMFG IM LIKE THE JESUS OF RUNESCAPE BUT THAT'S SORTA OFFENSIVE, I'LL BE THE MOSES OF RUNESCAPE SO IT'S LESS OFFENSIVE BECAUSE MOSES DOESNT HAVE THE HARRY POTTER POWER TO RESSURECT HIMSELF@@@@
  6. I'll keep it short and sweet. Obvioulsy everyone knows about the poll, and while there are many skeptics, if this was to be implemented, we know NOTHING of the new restrictions (if there are any at all,) that Jagex will impose. I have seen many topics on Staking/PKing/Free Trading, but all of these are conscious decisions made by an account to try and transfer wealth in some way, with a KNOWN risk factor involved. What will happen if you die outside of these controlled circumstances though? The question is this. Will Gravestones still be kept? Will they be scrapped completely and your items will be dropped immediately on the ground for people to pick up? Or will there be some middle ground, where you can still bless/repair graves, but once they degrade, items will be available for ALL to pick up. If, in any way, items dropped on death will be available to be picked up by other players, this will undoubtedly bring out a far uglier side of the community than we've seen in the last 3 years. Crashing will not be done because of necessesity (or for the sick sense of pleasure certain people get from overpowering someone weaker,) but now there will be material gain from such activities. Will the newer generation of Runescape player be able to deal with this, or will our community hit an all new low? I don't want to be cliché and say discuss, so I will end with this word. Speculate.
  7. 6 of 9 lives? So you're you're just putting it out there that you are, infact, a pusay? i guess that makes two girls that i know :/ I have no comment. MY 18TH TOMORROW OMFG CASINO + NIGHTCLUB TIME LELELELELELELELELELE@ Also, would Jagex stop trolling, I saw A [bleep]ING EDDIMU AND A SOULGAZER (OMFG AT 69 DUNG@#!@#@) in the same dung, and got nothing from either of them. Now I get a MED with 2 night spiders in the same room (spiders number 26 and 27 btw,) and still [cabbage] [bleep]ING ALL I WANT TO PUNCH A KITTEN IN THE TAIL@
  8. This is a pre-recorded message from IHasChicken. I regret to inform you that I have gone in exile to train my dungeoneering skill. Right now it has taken me 5 [bleep]ING days to get 1-70, and I have used up 6 of my 9 lives an heroing after the idiocy I have to deal with on 117. Please make a note of it.
  9. I agree. I still don't even see the need to change the achievement diaries to the task thing, can someone explain that to me? Yea, this tasks thing confuses me to no end. The thing that annoys me to NO END is that there is a perfectly good empty spot there for the Dungeoneering Party interface, yet when you go into Daemonheim it replaces the QUEST LIST with the party interface...
  10. Picture: Link -> http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Torva_armour Any thoughts on this? I initially actually saw this leak in the actual KB so I can confirm it's accuracy. This is my theory. Saradomin and Zamorak GWD have always had a conspicuous absence of armour piece drops. They are also both declining in popularity, which means less people are doing them now than there was a year ago (especially Zamorak.) Torva to me sounds like the name of an Icyene, so I believe that Torva armour will be dropped at Sara GWD. I think it will have good defence bonuses and these said LP boosts, but have negative attack and strength values, so they are much more of a tanking piece. I also think that a demonic armour will be dropped from Zamorak, which will be the exact opposite. This armour will have lower defence, and will DRAIN LP (lowering your Max LP,) while providing very good attack and strength values, so they are more of an attacking piece. This is just speculation, but this would make sense to me.
  11. "Trolling aside" is something of a catchphrase for me. The use of "socially redundant" instead of a simpler phrase gives me the impression that the poster was trying to sound more intelligent through the use of superior diction. Unfortunately, the user fails to grasp the proper method by which informal and formal dialogue may contrast in such a way as to be delightfully unexpected. In addition, the word "redundant" is used so improperly that one's cranium may go through spontaneous combustion. A wholly ironic outcome for one who desires to be taken seriously, no? It looks like the word he was looking for was "[developmentally delayed]ed," but apparently he was too [developmentally delayed]ed to find it. Not mah quote, not mah problem, but ur a woman so I don't listen to you.

  16. My DK's setup now soaks 19% range and 9% melee. TAKE THAT SUPREME@@@
  17. With this latest update, the damage soaking ability has been added to much of RuneScapes armour, which means they will also now absorb a percentage of any damage you receive over 200 life points. Previously, only three Dungeoneering rewards had this ability (the farseer, eagle-eye and chaotic kiteshields), but it has been applied to many other shields, headgear, body and leg armour, in all three combat disciplines. This ability has been added in line with the combat triangle, so youll find that magic armour is generally better at soaking melee damage, for instance. Also, how much damage you can soak is cumulative based on all the armour you have equipped, which should add an extra dimension to choosing what combat gear you wear. All armour stat tables in the Game Guide have been updated with this new information, so you might wish to take a look there first. Most of these tables are found in the Skills category (particular in Magic, Melee and Ranged), but there are also some found in the Combat, Activities and Miscellaneous Guides categories. To complement this update and provide further feedback during combat, you'll find we've also made extensive changes to the hitsplat system, as we first mentioned in the Damage Control blog. The main features of the new hitsplats are: New animated hitsplat graphics. Damage type is now displayed next to the hitsplat to help identify what damage you are taking - melee, ranged, magic - and hence what prayer/curse might help reduce or prevent the damage. Further damage types you can now distinguish between cannon, deflected and other damage (e.g. desert heat, dragon breath). Max hit splats if you hit your max hit (or above it via use of special attacks) you'll see a different, more vibrant hitsplat that will show off your combat ability. Faded splats any damage caused or taken by either you or your familiar will be shown by a vibrantly coloured hitsplat. Any damage caused or taken by other players will be shown by a faded hitsplat. This allows you to see what damage you are taking or dealing if you are in a group, so now you'll really know if you were the big damage dealer in your group! If your armour helps you soak damage, you'll have another splat displayed alongside the damage, so you can see how much each hit has been reduced by. Mod Chris L RuneScape Content Developer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In other news... Duke Horacio has realised that players may want to have multiple anti-dragon shields, so will now offer another shield to any who ask
  18. Nah man, 4chick is where it's at.
  19. I actually just had one of these just today. I was at DK's and I was solo tribridding, but I had forgotten my RoL. So, I was slightly on edge, but the trip was going fine, 70 kills in, Rex drops a ring of life. So I was like PHEW, and I went to pick it up, and then went to attack sup. Unfortunately for me, my inventory was badly set up by this time and I didnt have any access to any food or brews, because I had no free inventory space and all of my remaining brews were in my yak. So, of course Sup decides to go range-rampage through my +350 defences and hit me 3 times in a row for 200+ hits. Luckily, i had my RoL (that I had JUST gotten as a drop from Rex,) on, and I got Rol'd out at 30LP. So yeah, close one.
  20. I always kill Prime, but not always at a 1:1 ratio. Mostly I 2.5, sometimes i'll do a real tribrid trip, and sometimes I'll bust out the cannon and go nuts. But I think I'll go with 2.5'ing for my 10k kills, it's just so much more relaxing.
  21. I am offended. Please leave my blog and go to Obt's where this sort of action is sociably acceptable.
