Oo nice! Ancient body looks really sweet, I got it from my first elite, it was only worth 400k at the time :lol: I just finished another elite and got 250k :thumbdown: What a coincidence, this was my latest elite :)

The thing that astounds me is the fact that no one here acknowledges that there are crossovers in these self-imposed categories. High leveled people who like to take things efficiently are not all self-absorbed, narcassistic megalomaniacs, and, by the same token, low leveled players who play the game for fun are not all ignorant, poor, inefficient and stupid. Because that's what this boils down to - it's basically a vocal minority of high leveled, efficient players supporting the stereotype by acting like complete elitist assclowns, as well as a vocal minority of lower leveled, inefficient players who really are morons and behave as such, which supports THAT stereotype. For example, I have been playing semi-efficiently for 7 years. I'm not gonna lie, I started out really slow (like most new players do,) but I like to think that, for the first 5 years of playing, even though I didn't have enough time to play I was still making the most efficient moves FOR MY LEVEL, and I KNEW what would make me money even if I couldn't do it. I was not a low leveled moron like the stereotype. By the same token, I've been playing VERY efficiently over the last year (i'll probably round out the year having gotten 9 or 10 99's this year,) yet I've never alienated lower leveled inefficient players, always telling them valuable things like to START SLAYER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO YOU DON'T END UP WASTING COMBAT EXP IF YOU WANT TO GET 99, and to FARM HERBS ON THE SIDE, even though I still don't really do that myself (hypocracy, thy name is Chicken.) But I am DAMN SURE polite about it. So I am not an impersonal, rude, high leveled elitist who is unwilling to give help (at least I like to think,) like THAT stereotype either The fact of the matter is, no matter how rich or poor, efficient or inefficient, high leveled or low leveled a person is, a JERK will ALWAYS be a JERK. Let's just drop the pessimism and stop trying to categorize these jerks, because it just causes more trouble than it's worth. IMO, [/thread]

Funny story to tell with it too. I wuz using mah wc brawls and I got to 76 ep so I wuz like "Oh, let's go pk a bit." So I go to w18 and get a target almost immediately when I log on. This guy's ags'ing, and he keeps calling me a prod all the time, and spending most of his time slagging me off, even though I'd said NOTHING to inflame him. So near the end of our fight, I veng, he hits 530 on me with his ags with a PROD SPEC, I veng back 400, and hit him with a 380 NON SPEC korasi's hit for the kill. Everyone around us laughed when he died, and then they were like OMFG when I showed them the sword. NOW IM CLOSER TO A SPECTRAL YO!

Day 17 (27/11/10) Did a couple more arma solo trips today, which were decent, lasting 12 kills each. I really need a spectral to get a couple more kills added to that though, as at the moment (because Kree's common drops, on large, suck,) i'm only breaking even if I don't get an arma item. I want to at least be profiting something like 100k a trip, otherwise it's a bit moot. However, I'm thinking i'll get a chestplate soon, then a hilt. Would be nice PLEASE?!?!?! That's my life in a nutshell, I won't bore you with the details...[/hide] Stats as of Start of Blog Current Stats Past Runescape "Achievements" Again, I don't really want to bore people with "what I've done," but I have 7 99's as of posting, (Strengh, Smithing, Attack, HP, Defence, Slayer and Summoning,) as well as turmoil and overloads (95 Prayer and 92 Herblore). I'll get around to posting some pictures over the next few days.... Current Runescape Goals!!! 1. 99 Range. Yeah, for a LOOOONG time i've been getting around to doing this. So far i've only trained it through random sessions of chinning, and range-slaying when I can, but I'm really committed to slaying by Range to 99 now, because I REALLY need to Max Combats. So, I guess I can say my first little goal is 99 Range through Range Slaying. Current Level: 94. 2. 99 Mage. Another "Miscellaneous" combat skill like Mage, which I never got around to training wholeheartedly, mostly I've obtained the levels I've gotten through random spells, use of Magic Brawlers, and a large amount through maging Ice Strykewyrm tasks. I will be getting 99 mostly through continuing to mage Ice Strykewyrm tasks (they give sooo much Mage exp...) and maybe a bit of DKS when I feel up to it, since I do need money. Current Level: 96 3. 99 Prayer. My final real "hurdle" for Max Combat, I need about another 100m GP for it. I plan to raise the money by initially Range and Mage Slaying for 99 Range and Mage (as stated above,) and then using the money I make from this to buy gear to Arma for a while (Mainly because I've never been to Arma, and I think I could bear camping there for a while to make the money I need.) Current Level: 95 4. A 200M Bank back. Yeah, being poor sucks. I used to have a 100M Bank nearly a year ago. Then I blew it all on 99 Smith. Then I built up another 120m. Then I blew most of THAT on 85 Herblore. Then I built up another 200M, and blew all of that on 92 Herblore and 96 Summoning, and most recently, I had a 150m bank, and blew it all on 95 Prayer... So I really want to get a 200M bank back PERMANENTLY, and then use any money I make on top of that on skills. So after I buy 99 Prayer, that'll be the end of spending on skills for me, while I get some of my GEAR back. I'll mostly be doing so through Arma and TD'S with a steel titan. Maybe some Corp too. Approximate Current Wealth: 20M. 5. All Skills 80+. As you can see, most of my non-combats suck ass. So, I'm going to get 80+ all non-combats after maxing combat and building my bank back up. Simple as that. Current non combats 80+: 4/17 (Cooking, Slayer (technically non-combat as it doesnt effect my combat level,) Herblore, and Smithing) 6. 99 Dungeoneering. Dungeoneering being an "endgame" skill, and not fully released when it was first introduced meant I was hesitant to train it. But once I get all my skills 80+ and max my combat, I think I will be ready to get 99 Dungeoneering, and maybe even beyond... :lol: Current (embarrasing) level: 36 In Closing So there you have it. I'm pretty sure that the rates of each armadyl armour piece is like 1:200 per piece, and the rate of a hilt is somewhere around 1:300 So the odds of getting any item at all is around 1 in 80, so im well ahead of the curve. Now, to go dry for 100 kills :(!

MY SOLO ARMA SET-UP Gear: Risk: Invent: BoB Invent: This really speaks for itself. Just a couple of notes: Swap out the Ring/Ammy/Helmet/Shield/Crossbow for a Archer(i)/Fury/Verac's Helm/Spectral/Chaotic Crossbow for better results, but a far higher risk (which my current bank will not allow.) I DO want a spectral next though, as I can use it without affecting my current risk. Also, a lot of people laugh at the ranging ammy, HOWEVER, I think the ammy of ranging, for ARMA ONLY, is only slightly worse than a fury, and far better than a glory, for a far lesser risk. You trade off 3 defence in melee/range and 3 prayer bonus for 7 extra mage defence, and 5 more range attack, which is far more useful as you (should) be taking most of your damage from mage, and I usually have 2 or 3 doses of super prayer left over at the end of my trips anyway, so I don't need that pray bonus. The lone ext ranging pot in the invent is for kc. Also, I find it useful if your overload drops mid Kree for some reason, and you dont want to overload up mid kill, risking getting killed. I get about an average of about 12 kills a trip with this invent/setup, ranging from 10-16 but I think I could get more if I timed my brews better...

Yeah, my next 2 skill goals are 99 Prayer and 99 Herblore (maybe :P) So I'm armaing for prayer definitely as a first priority, now i've bought most of my solo gear. I find I prefer to solo because it's more engaging and you get effigies/elites. I like solo'ing or Coinshare, however, I am not good at solo'ing things..and apparently since I don't have Turmoil/Ely/AGS/Claws/Rapier I suck balls. Arma is actually one of the best to solo, since there isnt really any major attack (e.g. Graar's spec, Kri'll's spec that hit's through prayer, Zil's melee attacks that hit as fast as knives,) that affects you that much. All you do is pray range, sip 2 doses of brews every 15 seconds (if you need,) and shoot away. Make sure you have distance from Kree though, because if you have to spam eat, he likes to come up and melee you while you're not attacking him. I'll post my set-up/invent for you, and you only need curses enabled, overloads, and seers elite done to have my set-up. I usually get 10-13 kills a solo trip, and risk about 5-6m. But also, did the elite that I got from my last Arma solo trip. Elite #1 (for purposes of this blog) Nearly a 4m clue. Nice little money maker these elites are ;)
