That's unfair to assume that everyone that uses a skill cape at ice wyrms is stupid. I mean, I have a fire cape, but even if I didn't, i'd still have the common sense to use ahrims, a mages/unholy book and infinity boots, because that's just the basics of maging. Just because people like to wear their skill capes doesn't make them generally an idiot, it just makes them proud.

RS wiki still says that monster kills on a PvP world have better drops more often, with absolutely no proof.

One thing's for sure, when the market gets flooded again, they will crash HARD. Since most people have actually made a fair few ovls by now, there will be MUCH less demand for them.

Yeah, I recently had a 3 SOL task as well. Pity they're only 4.1m, I can't see them crashing much further, as they require 8 more slayer levels than whips, as well as for you to be on task to get them... Unspam: Speaking of luck, had this a few weeks ago, off an 185 task :shades: Yet you need 90 slayer for Dark Bows, look at how they went down. But Dark bows are nearly useless, they're just for show/fun. Whips were generally considered the overall best weapon in the game before Dungeoneering was released, and SoL is a mage's whip. Beat me to it, and whips have essentially been replaced by cr/cls/c maul (although not fully yet, considering how hard they are to get,) yet they still maintain a reasonable price. The RS economy is strange sometimes..

If you have void... 1. Get a D Claws Lend. 2. Bring Void + Claws + Whip and Defender. 3. Go on the forums and get into a Bandos team. 4. Pray Range and Piety when Graar is up, using your claw specs every second kill. And that's really all there is to it.

Actually, once you get super high levels and stuff (like ovls, turm and yak,) when you bosshunt, you can afford to (and should) take spec restore pots both in groups and DEFINITELY soloing for GWD. TDs is sorta less important, especially with a steel titan.

Clue Scroll Equipment is another good one to put in your "junk" tab, so you're not scrambling around getting tt items all the time. You know, emote clue stuff

These are all prestigious skills that you have not considered, that are all considered great achievements. The reason why cooking/fletching/firemaking/wc/basic combat skiills aren't respected as much is because they are easier, plain and simple Just because you are defensive of first 99s doesn't mean you can make sweeping generalizations that make you look like a [bleep]. All you need is a mage bonus below -65 and you'll never hit. So Get: Full Rune, with a granite helm Any Vambraces. And you should be fine :thumbup: You can also add snakeskin boots, just to be safe.

I see in your sig that you have 92 herby. Since torstols are buying now, have you considered selling everything and buying just exts/ovls gear? EDIT: Oh, grenwall spikes may be hard to get... EDIT2: Also, if you train without ovls, you may have to train past 99 to get some more if you ran out...just a thought.

Well logically, you'd want to make the ones worth the MOST exp first. However, complicating the matter is the fact that to make your exts, you first have to make supers, which are a lot less exp than the other potions listed. So I would personally go spec restores, then brews, then supers/exts, then finally the pray pots.

A couple of other great options are gargoyles and ice strykewyrms - they are about 20 blues per hour (plus or minus a few) and are slayer tasks, so have great other benefits. Short of that, I'd tend to say TDs would be the best option. I went in a trio today, and got 45 blues and 30 crims in a little over an hour. Granted I have decent lap having missed a spec and arc at Corp, but it should still work for you. Plus you get great money/effigies if soloing down there :)
