The way I see it there are 3 options: 1. Rollback. Sure, a lot of people are gonna be pissed off, but it would fix all of the problems. It would still cause a huge backlash however. 2. Do nothing. This would cause the economy to plunge into chaos. I don't think that would be wise either 3. QUICKLY CHANGE IT BACK NOW. Either change the price back to what it was, or make the boots untradeable. Sure, there would still be a little bit of damage caused by the people who alched 1k of the boots or so, but it would not cause the backlash that a rollback would, and it would not [bleep] up the economy. In any case, they'd better make a decision soon. Every second they wait is a second that ruins the economy. EDIT: Didn't realise you could sell 100 at a time to the shop :/. This rollback is going to happen

If you're in a non multi-combat zone, the person who gets the kills isn't the person who has the highest combats, it's the person that is the fastest at clicking. It's just that most low-mid level players are young, immature imbeciles capable of nothing more than a wave of spam and insults, so they're easy to beat in a click-off. People get so defensive about this high-low dichotomy. Just click and kill - if you're happy with the rate at which you're getting kills, stay in the world, if you're not, due to another player, flame and spam and scream and censor evade until you've been muted more times than Pamela Anderson has had plastic surgery I mean hop.

I care as much about bots as I care about all of the people bragging about their skill capes - not in the slightest. I have never been accused of botting (ever), and i've played for a good part of 6 years. Even still, I wouldn't care, as I know i'm not botting, and I don't need to prove this to some stranger over the internet of which there is a 99% chance that their age exceeds their IQ. People need to start caring less about what other people are doing, and more about what they are doing. Sure, Runescape is a community, but unlike real-life you can take the good parts, and simply omit the bad parts by using the little ignore button.

If one's own personal enjoyment is more important then someone else's enjoyment, more specifically how it affects another, then shouldn't scamming be legal under the same rationale? This is a silly thing to do. When on a clue, you have very little "valuable" items on you, well, generally. If you wait until you get to a "safezone" before opening the clue, you can get killed a long the way. Because the clue/casket is worthless, you will lose it. However if you open it first, and get something worth value, and then you die, you'll keep that item which from the clue which you would have lost otherwise thats why you take 6 things when doing wildy coordinate clues. spade, clue, watch, sextant, map, crappy weapon with which to 1v1 the zammy mage. when you dig, you kill mage, dig again, get casket. drop the spade and your crappy weapon and turn on protect item. then run to wherever, and if you may die, you keep EVERYTHING. even less is needed to plain old map clues. just spade and the clue. dig, clue turns into casket. you can die and keep everything, even without the protect item prayer. if you opened the casket and say got like 5 rune things (1 of them bolts and another a decent pile of sweets) and you die, youll keep 3 rune things, and lose those other ones. now, we cant see meam's setup, but if he was wearing, say, black d-hide, then he'd lose the mlb, bolts, and lobbies. he'd keep the pick and the helm. of course, the helm will protect over anything, but say he didnt get the helm and got a robin hood hat. he'd lose that before any of the armor he's wearing. plus, it's not like the casket will go anywhere if you dont open it until you reach a safe area. Or you could just wear a forinthry brace, take a decent amount of food, and have an Angel of Death grave if you die...

Yeah, when I duo we alt tank, so I guess that gives us each time for pony specs to recharge and takes the heat off of us. Guess i'll use an obby shield, and maybe buy a dfs when i get my first drop.

I wouldn't quite mind shorter trips however, as the killcount for bandos is ridiculously easy to get, and from my past experience duoing, a rune defender seriously increases the speed of the kills themselves, and hence graar is alive for a shorter amount of time and you take less damage and can kill steelwill (the real pain in the [wagon] when bandossing) a lot quicker Guess I could try both, and see how each of them goes, I don't have enough to afford a DFS atm, so I'd probably use an obby shield.

Hey, I'm just posting right now seeking some help for solo bandos. I have 88 herby atm, but have 91 banked, and should be able to stew to overloads in a few short hours. My other combat stats are 99 attack, 99 strength, 92 defence, 89 summoning, 75 prayer, 98 hp, 87 magic and 87 ranged I'm just looking for some pro bandos hunters to okay my equipment set-up, and suggest for me a good inventory to maximise efficiency. GEAR: The gear I am proposing to take will be of medium risk, as it is my first time ever soloing bandos (I do however have quite a bit of experience FFA duoing) HELM: Torag's Helm BODY: Zamorak D'Hide LEGS: V Skirt NECK: Amulet of Fury GLOVES: Barrows RFD Gloves CAPE: Unsure about this one, not sure whether a trimmed skill-cape or a god cape would be better (I do not have a SW cape yet, and am not really willing to risk my fire cape as it would be annoying to lose) BOOTS: D Boots SHIELD: Obby Shield WEAPON: Abyssal Whip SPEC WEAPON: Dragon Claws RING: Also unsure about this one, would a ROL be better, or does a warrior ring provide so much more effectiveness that it would be worth risking ~3m if i died? INVENTORY: I only have a vague idea about this, but I'd imagine i'd need to bring a tort with pony pouch + scrolls in my invent when I use the supplies in my tort (plus an extra tort pouch for timer issues), a hammer (of course), some overloads, some brews, some rests, and some spec recovers, plus some normal food if i get in trouble and don't want to spam-brew. However, I have no idea about the proportions of each item i'd need, so I would really appreciate any help if you have an invent that works for you.
