They hurt skillers, and/or people who like to skill for money. Actually, they help skillers by providing cheap raw materials. People who skill for money (EG: cutting yews) are utilizing low profit and low experience methods that are pointless to use anyway, so the absence of bots isn't going to change that. Real moneymaking usually means sacrificing experience. Essentially you're saying that bots hurt people who are already hurting themselves. Exactly. And the same applies for melee. You can get 10k melee experience an hour bosshunting in a team for lots of cash, or get next to no money at armoured zombies or dharoking skelemonkies for little to no effort. Slayer is a happy medium, which is why I love it.

Get 123 combat and he'll forgive you. :P I'm lvl 134 combat and they still auto attack me when I'm doing the uri emote clue in the center of the haunted woods. <_< Really annoying cause you can't do an emote while being attacked. Ye they usually should give you the task if you just unlocked the abiltiy to kill those beasts. Gzz btw, i'm only 590k removed from ice strykes. I didn't have to unlock them, since I have a fire cape :thumbsup: Guess I just got luck of the draw, hope that luck extends to a sol or two :thumbup:

I would strongly advise doing super defs, contrary to what people in this thread say. The great thing about super defs is that the finished products are so cheap. This means that when you buy all of the whiteberries/unf pots, they are all there. You can physically see them banked, and this is a fantastic feeling when you see your desired level banked, as opposed to other pots where you have to sell back the products to get the cash to buy more ingredients. This also means you're less at the market's mercy like with pots such as sara brews. Super defs will sell. It will just take a bit, but since they're so cheap, you can afford having a bit of money missing for a little while. Mind you, when i got 85-91 herby on super defs, they were being merched and sold for instant max :thumbsup:

Well your guess is better than mine, so I guess i'll hold off on the onyxes and maybe try to snipe a set of robes (or at least the hood and robe bottoms, as I heard they're easy to snipe) Sucks about the divine man, guess it's either back to corping or GWD to work your way up through the smaller rares for you :sad:

So you're saying the street price has dropped slightly lower than the ge price, and onyxes won't ever have any high street value again? Because I could just buy one, and if they do rebound, I can trade it for a set of battle robes, which I really could use...

Is this onyx crash just due to the impending tt update, or was this coming for a long time? If it's just due to the update I might buy 3 or 4 gems and wait for the rebound. Should I do this?

Do what I do, every time you finish a task where you got an effigy, solve it down to gorged. This way you're only doing one or two at a time, and you're not scrambling to finish them all at once. :) Yeah, I have been doing this, 6 out of the 8 effigies there are gorged. However, 3 of them are 97 rc, and 2 of them are 97 farming :wall: . The last one is 97 smith which, thankfully, I can do myself when the time comes...

WEEK 1 This is my loot tab from 90-92 (well, 200k off 92) slayer. I have managed to get this in a little over a week, after nearly 2 months of barely slaying (or even playing rs) and I have saved up absolutely EVERYTHING including rare drops, common drops, and treasure trail rewards. I have no idea how much it is worth, nor do I care as I am not going to even touch it until I am 98 slayer. In regards to the effigies - I have no idea if I'm lucky or not to have gotten 8 in this period of time, all I DO know is that, at this rate, I will be getting 98-99 slayer completely through dragonkin lamps - which would take having 26 gorged effigies banked and a LOT of scrambling on the forums, cc's, and w117 Daemonheim... I should also max melees in the next week with 99 Def, if i keep slaying at the rate I have been :thumbup: EDIT: The charms have not all been from 90-92, they have been from about 81-92, I just keep my crims and blues in my slayer tab. A large proportion of the blues has also been from td's. I don't know when I'll use them, maybe when the next double exp weekened comes.

This is so simple I'm amazed no one has brought it up earlier. We do not need to know about years and years of history, all of this boils down to one fact. Hilter, and the entire Nazi party, is more commonly known by the average person than Stalin. Due to this, his name will be used as an insult by little kiddies a lot more than Stalin, mostly because little kiddies don't do history and probably don't even know who Stalin is. While it is true that Stalin did awful things, his name is not as commonly used as an insult. So, there is no real need for it to be censored. As for your remark about communism - it's a political stance, and while the Russians used it for evil purposes, there are still "neo-communist" countries such as China who are not using the communism model for such evil purposes. Hence it shoud not be banned.
