Okay. This is how I understand this will be implemented by trolling Mod MMG's clan chat, and maybe the forums but I can't cite if so. Let's say my current RS name is Rex. They will allow me to change my display name. So I change Rex to Trex. People in-game will now see me as Trex. Also the highscores will see me now as Trex. But I will still have to log in as Rex. Rex is my account name, Trex is my display name. I doubt once I change my name to Trex, anyone can take Rex since it's still my account name. So impersonation is not a problem.

A scimitar is actually Arabian or something and oriental weapons are made with about a thousand times the quality, a katana is actually made from the highest quality steel smelted in two different ways and folded over a houndred times, a katana is like a long thin slightly bent razor while a scimitar is thin at the bottom and thicker at the top with a more noticable curve and the sharpness of a normal sword. Arabia is in the middle east, which is what he's suggesting.. at least he's saying middle east but then describing jungles. Please don't keep bumping this thread. #-o

The argument that it shouldn't be released because it would be more expensive than a shield with better stats could be applied to all dragon armour already.

Haha, is it that noticeable? Yeah I did it yesterday. Now that I'm playing in HD more often, I felt it needed a makeover.

Basically.. always use shortbow. It's faster and nobody uses longbow for a reason. Longbows do not higher damage, but they allow you to shoot from farther away.

[hide=16 August 2009.][/hide] Crafted more nature runes today. My method is running to Zamorak Mage, having him teleport me to the abyss, and then teleport back to Edgeville using my amulet of glory. It's not the fastest method, but I have not learned the mystery of summoning spirit graahks yet. During one trip I had my first encounter with a revenent. It was a werewolf, and luckily it was alone and not in a pack. When it first attacked me I panicked and didn't react. But eventually I threw my Varrock teleport tab to the ground and left the vile creature to find another victim.

Great guide. I think I found a typo though in the food section when you talk about wine. It reads, "Same as lobster, except it reduces range.." when it reduces attack as you know. ;)

I'm a Jagex fanboy who thinks they can do no wrong. I agree with their policy of blaming the players instead of the game, so, in a petty move that does nothing but lower people's opinion of me, I've changed his post announcing it has been "Fixed." Fixed. I can't take a joke, or accept a difference of opinion so I flamed the guy instead of letting it go. Fixed. Seriously? Quoted for truth!

[hide=August 15 2009.][/hide] Today I continued crafting air runes and gained the ability to craft four mind runes out of one essence. After a while, I decided I'd like a change of scenery and used my amulet of glory to teleport to Edgeville to begin crafting body runes. Before I headed to the altar with my essence, I decided to sell my 2,215 coifs lying in my bank to the Edgeville general store for a sum of 45,210 gp. After crafting body runes for a while I gained the ability to make five air runes out of one essence.. and to craft natures! I was very excited to finally craft nature runes, so instead of mining some pure essence, I decided to just use the stock I had in my bank until it ran out. First I had to meet the Zamorak mage and help him learn about the infinite supply of essence that he was not aware of. After that, he allowed me into the abyss. I fought the monsters inside the abyss until I got a large pouch. With these new pouches I can now carry 35 essence per trip. Overall, I feel today was a very successful day and I now look foward to crafting more nature runes!

have you finished the quest shilo village? No. I'm guessing that's a problem.. I'm now using the abyss to craft natures.
