People who are older are generally smarter, right? Well, it dosent mean people who are older are ALWAYS smarter, the same applys for maturity in my opinion.

I thought max hit was 100% effected by ranged strength, AKA the arrow. Well, i might be wrong, either way I doubt dark bow will ever be weaker or less accurate than another lower level bow.

People in general, when hidden by anonymity are alot more stupid and immature than they would be in real life, this applies to all age groups. Its the same concept as how most drivers are alot more aggressive on the road than they would be outside a car, they have there 4 walls around them, it gives them a sense of power, and they know there is going to be little retaliation if they hold down the horn for 10 minutes. Unfortunately, this game being on the internet. People feel they can act however they want without any repercussions.

I won't deny that, but practically, in pvp worlds, you will be much more effective with high strength, medium attack, and low defence, than the other way around. Simply because, all though you may be uber win ownage in a long extended battle to the end, you won't end up with many kills once people realize you have high defense and will just run/tele while spamming DEFENCE NOOB 50 times.

Dark bow CAN'T hit lower than conventional range weapons (bow+longbow) Assuming they use the same arrows and no spec, IT HITS EXACTLY the same damage because uses the same conventional method of damage calculation, because damage has nothing to do with the bow, and everything to do with the arrows, (and the spec), the only difference is dark bow has higher accuracy, and is much slower. It hits the same as lower level ranged weapons, and is MORE accurate.

Strength wins, defence loses, at least in PVP worlds. At least with strength you win SOME fights, with defence you just tank all fights and people run away before you do anything.

I didn't know you could hit with attack and still have the hit rounded down because of low str -.-. But ok, yea zeros with mage are probably the same concept. Anyway compfreak, my previous post simply states that even if there were 2 ways of missing with mage and 1 way of missing with melee (i was clearly uninformed) mage is still more accurate.

Even so, its still more accurate than melee. Lets make a class that has 7 ways of splashing, if they are all 1% its still more accurate than other methods of attack.

I think its a valid rant. Rants forum : vent your in game frustrations. If his frustration is his dark bow isn't good enough for him, its valid enough.

Allrite, lets add 43 prayer, 35 hp and 80 magic, for 50 combat. Still highly improbable and stupid.

You already have a main don't you? Why kill your pure when you can just go on your main.

The question was why do you NEED good terrain, not whether it helps or not. =S.

Also, accuracy has NOTHING, to do with how high you hit, it only changes how often you hit. So a willow shortbow, if it hits with mith arrows, will have the same damage potential as a magic longbow, of course the longbow will hit more.

Its not REQUIRED. Especially if spells are half as accurate as you say. =S

Because the weapon is so slow, you wince at every zero...
