People have comboed magic for a while, such as ice blitz, shadow barrage, etc. Its only not many people know about miasmic barrage because well, no one really uses miasmic barrage.

Or just give blood runes to free players, they did it before with addy arrows, they can do it with blood runes.

Using different armor is hybriding, so why can't a mage use a dark bow (lovely weapons) to hybrid if a meleer can use dragonhide?

Its not going to be significant, and as far as im concerned it makes alot of people happy, for very little pain for paying members.

Personally, i think its Range>Mage>Melee Rangers beat mages in DPS, and arent that easy to farcast if they have good armor + dark bow or long range attack. Oh yea, forgot miasmic spells. Personally, i think 99 mage or 99 range should = 99 attack and str in terms of combat levels, and give them a slight buff. At the moment, melee uses more combat levels than range and mage ???

I'd say the opposite. If there's anything I'd like it's armour with defence boosts. Snipers rip through my measly rune kiteshield's and rune full helm's defence bonus. So I get hit a lot and my spells are innacurate. 10% spells would be great. I'm not sure crafting runes would help but then again, I have next to no experience RCing. About the golden age, we're trying to make it be balanced at all levels. That means at no levels should it 'dominate' and no levels should it be destroyed. Mages arent made for tanking (even though they can) they freeze/snare and then run away.

So people don't buy hammers for 1 gp at the store, and sell them at GE for inconceivably insane profits for very little work? :thumbdown:

Prayer, basically what you said, or what about praying? Ranging, yea... what you said, but this one dosent need changing. Fletching, basically what you said, but this one dosent need changing. Thieving, pickpocket someone, anything better than what it is now. Smithing, what you said, but this one dosent need changing. Herblore, maybe you could mix a potion in a really fancy way? =D. Farmings pro enuth already. Woodcutting could be made better i guess. Anyway, its not worth trying to justify the effort, even if it is bad already.

I'm p2p, get lost. And other than that, it dosent stop the fact that, in disagreeing with us, he is also disagreeing which jagex, who clearly think its a good idea, and if they wan't to do it, why challenge the decision. If you don't like it, make a rant on it, or stop paying for member, though i doubt you will do that because giving a few f2pers forums isn't going to make you stop being member.

Who cares about emote, everyone dose it for the cape. Then again, theres only 1 emote that needs serious changing, thieving cape.

A few hundred f2p players on the forums won't increase server costs that much. I mean its a forum, and for that matter completely bare with no sigs, avatars etc, its hardly going to be majorly affected. Also, the point stands that jagex thinks this is a good idea, so they have probably factored in additional costs and realized it would probably be better for the game.

Unless you can prove that giving f2p forums will cause a substantial loss in profits, there is really no disadvantage to it.
