  1. There are 3 trees and 3 people, if they all cut one tree each, they all have to sit around waiting for respawn when they all get cut down at the same time. If they all cut the same tree, the trees generally respawn fast enough to cut down on waiting time.
  2. Rofl, i truely envy the ability to completely ignore the previous posts, the opening post, and the whole purpose of the forum while ranting about magical accessories from final fantasy or something.
  3. No, im saying that an already inferior way of making money should not be further devalued by the vast abundance of bots. Why isnt there a reason? Some of these skills are simply more relaxing than doing things like monster hunting, some people cannot monster hunt as effectively for reasons of there own (like having 1 defence :D), or skilling might simply be the best way of making money for them while also getting decent XP. And why wouldnt it matter? If its such a bad money maker isnt it a slight indication that it should be improved somewhat, by either new updates, and/or the removal of bots? Bots hurt the people who like skilling for money. Cutting yews is not me "hurting myself", its me getting money in a relatively relaxing way while also training magic at the same time, and yes i do believe i should get a bit more money for skilling, especially given how much the profit for monster hunting has shot up. Not to mention that yews actually are one of the primary ways to make money in f2p.
  4. Just find some people your level. It shouldnt be overly hard. You can always just ask your targs or something, after the fight of course  I used to be in a team with ~10 people within 1-2 levels of me, too bad they all quit and/or are way too high leveled now.
  5. Who doesn't know what a prestige run is? It's pretty self explanatory.... No it isnt. Are you doing 5:5? Is it small? Are you doing complexity 1? Is it floor 17-25 or is a f1-10? Just "prestige run" says nothing.
  6. And we are back to the old question, why should an already bad way of making money, be made EVEN WORSE. Hurting people who like skilling for money, believe me, these people exist.
  7. Xp is more than a post count. XP is how much fun i have. Trust me when i say il have more fun with 94 mage and ancients than i would with 67 mage and crap all.
  8. They hurt skillers, and/or people who like to skill for money. I dont have an opinion on the rest of your post, or ive already mentioned it in previous posts so its irrelevant in my case, i for one dont see the problem with that.
  9. Exactly, why does it need to be even worse?
  10. Thats a very simplistic point of view. Just because i dont enjoy quests as much as others, does not mean i'm wasting my time and not enjoying the game. Have you ever tought that the quest rewards are what will make me enjoy the game in other areas? For example, i never had particularly much fun doing desert treasure, what WAS fun was busting millions ice bursting in castle wars.
  11. Yes, but if you can hit, then hitting higher is better than hitting lower.
  12. Because if you can consistently hit the monster, theres no point having an attack bonus.
  13. Yea, cutting trees individually wastes EVERYONES time. Cut the same tree.
  14. Trees almost definately dissapear faster with more cutters.
  15. Despite good quests, and i did genuinely have fun with monkey madness, you can never shake the feeling that theres 1000 more saviors of the world running around doing the same thing. Rewards on the other hand, are awesome. You can bring them to PVP, castle wars, or soul wars, and start kicking face with them :D If i wanted truely immersive quests with a good storyline, i would be playing a single player game right now (like oblivion!), anyway.
  16. If EA/activision got a hold of this game, we would be playing runescape VIII modern knighthood 2 And every year a new one would come out, with a new cost involved.
  17. So, you dont see them as a problem because monster hunting should be better than skilling? Yes, they are a problem. Just because your not effected by it doesnt mean you should not care and consider it not to be a problem, thats an incredibly selfish outlook on botters. Let me tell you something, bots or not, skilling will NEVER be better than monster hunting. But bots need to be removed so that skilling is actually a viable way of getting money. While i acknowledge that monster hunters should get more money than skillers, simply because it is generally harder and there is more risk involved. It should not be as disproportionate as it is now. Where monster hunters can get millions from a single lucky drop, while skillers are stuck at a subpar 100k an hour.
  18. Yes, it might be inviting insanity to actually try and have a logical conversation.
  19. More elitism ????
  20. So, why are you opposed to bots being removed (and by extention), the cost of raw materials rising?
  21. I fully agree that high levels should get more money. I dont agree that bots should drive the prices of raw materials down to the point where skilling is crap house money.
  22. No, they need a balanced triangle. At anything past level 30, mage is useless for anything but teleblock, that is inbalanced.
  23. I never said you shouldnt make good cash, merely that skilling needs an improvement. ~150k an hour is simply not comparable to how much you can get hunting monsters. Infact im a pure, and i still make much more money hunting dragons than i do skilling. And a lot of this is because of bots, if they were removed, the prices of raw materials would rise, meaning skilling would make better money. We all know it still wouldnt be comparable to monster hunting, but at least its an improvement on the current (crap), rates. Isnt it a bit selfish to want bots to stay just so you can hunt monsters easier?
  24. No, the OP wasent complaining about anything. Infact he said a 138 is almost certainly more knowledgable than a level 50. While true, combined with the generally idiotic nature of said OP, as well as the elitism so rampant in his posts, doesnt really give him much credibility.
