The way the RuneSpan is designed *encourages* movement, be it to find better nodes or, if you'd like, to find the Wizard. Always pursue nodes, and only give in to Hounds / Wraiths when you're short on essence or there truly is no node in the vicinity.

Hard? No. Taxing and boring, definitely. I'd really just advise you to either do some bolts while you wait around for the produce to be harvested, or to just afk and get half the produce per hour (Energising Pauline + Collecting and depositing stacks of produce)

Glacors at your Magic level wouldn't be a very good option...Still feasible, but without Fire Surge, your kph can drop drastically. I think I saw Quyneax mention that Fire Surge max was 280, as opposed to Blast's 200. Escalate that to Glacor's weakness, and you see you'll get roughly 30% less kph without Surge. I've just recently done Waterfiends for some Charms, and I didn't find them all that tiring, so I'd also go with that. On Lob spots, you'll have to fend off crashers every now and then, and it requires a whole lot of attention. WFs can be a bit more relaxed, plus, it's only another good incentive to get Goliaths. As Cow said, with at least an Iron Titan, you can also try out CT Waterfiends. Don't forget to Bork daily, even more so if you have Varrock Elite done. Use a RoW. Make good use of Familiarisation weekly. Just as a little sidenote, I'm not sure on how feasible TDs are for charms, but if you like them, you can look into it. Cannoning Wallasalkis is around 30 blues / hour last I heard, too, and cannoning Kalphites at the DNE cave oughta be around that as well.

Magnificent article by Ts, as almost always. Completely agree with everything, and it's an interesting point of view on the IVP censored thing. Now I'm a bit optimistic that it is, in fact, hurting them. As far as I know, they've never touched anything with a community as big or as assertive as RuneScape's, so, if we're lucky, we may come out winning where MapleStory lost. Fingers crossed.

Artisan's Workshop is indeed good xp, but it comes at a cost. Attending to Grimy's Spreadsheet... From my own experience, I've always done Adamantite items, and so have my friends, but you can certainly switch it up a bit to get comfortable on gp/xp cost or xp/h. From your xp to 81, you need 1 284 866 xp To 82, 1 513 135 Taking Addy Ingots III to make burial armour with Suak, and following his commands, you're looking at 17,35 gp/xp, which would work out at just under 22.3m to hit 81, or 26.3m for 82, at a pace of around 200k xp/h The Addy Ingots IV do seem faster and two thirds of the cost, but they can only be used in making ceremonial swords, which take a really, really long time to perfect and be able to make 100% almost constantly, so I wouldn't recommend it. These do not include any of the boosts towards xp earned in there that you can buy from the shop, which are 2%, 4% and 5%, nor the moderate xp you get from fixing pipes. You should gather your points and buy those xp bonuses along with the faster pipe repair ability as soon as possible. (Personally, I'd get 4% first, then pipe, then the 5%, then it's free for all on the rest) If you haven't yet, Tip.it's AShop's guide could serve you well to get to know the mechanics to the minigame.

Pardon my ignorance, but why are Arcanes selling so high o.O? Did the effects Mod Chris L mention been introduced to the Beta, and are they ossum, or wut? And if anyone can actually shed some light on those same effects, I haven't noticed anything different, but I may be blind.

I understand most of them died out after the rush for getting Hybrid gloves and stuff, but I actually would want some tokens, and wouldn't mind the gloves myself. Is my best bet actually playing it on themed worlds, or are there any organized Fcs / Ccs I'm unaware of? If I was to play regularly, my combat stats are fairly high, so I don't see myself losing a whole lot, but I'd still rather the tie thingy :P
