  1. Fine, I give up then.
  2. 1) Only gp is accepted, then. Once the revenue starts rising due to delay in paying back, bank starts taking some of your money and the amount keeps rising until you pay the loan. After that, you get your collateral item back. 2) This scenario will leave the loaner broke, but as the revenue rises, the payment will be taken from his cash that he gets later. 3) Answer number 1. Also, player must give a collateral item of the same value. More quest points means, that the collateral item can be worth more or less than the actual loan. 4) That godsword is still a good weapon to get money with. Player can easily kill bosses or slay for money. Because, as I said before, these bank loans should only be intended for money making purposes. Like in real life. 5) answer number 1 again.
  3. Oh come on! If someone can get 93 slayer, surely it cant be such a big deal to get the cape. Besides, it is the best cape there is. Why not get it anyways?
  4. You expect the money to still stay with the same guy? He'd have spent all the money, and unless there's some identification code for the money, you wouldn't be able to remove it from the game. Furthermore, how is it fair to take away say 500k from a guy who sold items to the guy who refused to pay back his loans? I don't support this idea at all. This is similar to real life bank loans. You take them to get started. After that you can manage with the money you have made. Then you can pay it back. This idea is not meant to be a quick way to get money, so you can spend them all just for the sake of getting the item. It is simply a little help to get yourself started in money making. What are you talking about? I never said that anyone else than the loan taker himself would have to pay anything. The money stays with the seller as normally. Loaner is the only one who is going to pay for his loan. You make it sound like, lets say, I buy bread from a store for 5 euros. Then when the payback date expires, the bank will take the money from the store owner. I hope you didnt mean this.
  5. If this would happen, It would need to have downsides also. Like for example, you gain defence boost at the cost of attack. Or the item forbids you to do something, while giving you some good bonuses.
  6. Okay, so collateral item seems to be only solution. If one wants to get a cash, but doesnt want to sell his item(s), He can get bank loan. After the time has passed, He must pay the loan and revenue to bank too get his item(s) back. If this loan money was used wisely, you dont need to take loans in a while. If used only for skilling without getting anything back, then you are in trouble. Much like in a real life loan situation. You dont pay back, you dont get the item(s) back and revenue starts rising. After exceeding a certain limit, bank starts to take items from your bank. The money you pay to the bank disappears from the game.
  7. Underwater combat armour for the next quest, plox. :ohnoes: Damn you Jaspa, i was drinking coffee as i watched that video.
  8. I like this idea. If you are lower level, you couldnt loan millions, as lower leveled probably wouldnt need that much. or then just give an item as a guarantee for the loan.
  9. First players would receive a warning. if they dont pay the loan back, banks would take the money from their banks in cash or items. Then they can blame only themselves. Or they could even take furniture out of their house or stuff from their costume room. If this would happen, the bank should take more revenue as the loan was delayed. For this reason, the max amount of loan should not be dozens of millions.
  10. Use tinderbox -> logs Ta-dah, fire. No xp needed, right? How about lighting light sources, burning evil trees, making pyre fires, lighting beacons in an cold places, an adze that makes the logs you chop burn? In what skill would you put these? If player doesnt know how to cut a tree, then how does he know how to set it on fire, as different types of wood are harder to set on fire than others? It is simply easier to make a skill for it. Even if players would question it, it makes more sense.
  11. I`d say woodcutting, as nowadays, you dont even need to bank anymore. And woodcutting has too many bots too.
  12. Hey there, not long ago I read the Bank interest topic, and it gave me and idea of Bank loans. What if you could loan money from banks and pay them back as large sums quickly or in smaller sums slower? This could be really useful if you need money for certain money making method or supplies/armour/other stuff in general fast. You could choose how much you pay back, lets say, in a week. Maybe in smaller sums that takes longer or pay all/large sums, which obviously pays the loan quicker. If this is going to work, it must have some downsides also. Quick money is not cheap. You must pay revenue for your loans. The amout of revenues in percents depends on the amount of money you loaned. Larger sums have bigger revenue, as much money usually means, that whatever you`re going to spend them, will yield even more money. I havent decided yet what should be the max loan you could get. I`ll get to that later. Tell us your opinions for this and remember to add reasons for them.
  13. If you really want to help someone, dont try to forcibly offer to help. You will make yourself look like an elitist, as they will probably understand your saying as: "I am better than you so you need my help now." Real way of helping someone is to help when they ask for it. I assisted one guy to do the whole dig site quest and even thought it took me an hour to assist him, as he was rather stupid, I kept myself generally helpful and nice. In the end, he was very grateful and called me a nice person, which are few in Runescape. I got a good feeling and he got a good feeling. Everyone won in the end and lived happily for the rest of their lives. Or atleast almost.
  14. Im glad I buyed my fury the day before it turned to 2,7m tokkul. Made a nice profit of 6m there.
  15. If firemaking wouldnt exist, wouldnt players ask Jagex to make them able to light logs? Firemaking is a small skill, yes, but wouldnt players question it if the benefits of firemaking were in some other skill?
  16. What is the armour that first comes in mind as f2p when you think of members? I think you know. Im just saying that dragon is the most well known member armour to everyone. And it is mostly used as a sign of wealth, or lower level players.
  17. If you had asked me that question I would have first been like this  and then like this :? Maybe he took that question as offence.

Well i can admit that the first time he hit me, i accidentally pressed wrong prayer and quickly changed. But the second time i pressed it just as the attack animation was about to stop.
  19. LOL! I love when people forget the obvious things like that. I remeber people thought you could train a pure summoning account with Tears of Guthix (half a cookie to whoever finds the logical flaw in this one). People also forget that summoning familiars give combat xp when you fight with them, so even if you did get to 99 with lamps/penguins, it won't stay "purely pure" for long. tears of guthix only gives xp in your lowest skill, so after one time, sum isn't your lowest skill. :P you owe me a cookie. However, I know i saw a lvl 3 skiller with like 75 slayer on the highscores. Cant remember his name tho. Off topic, but where does tears of guthix place the xp if all of the skills are on the same xp and level?

    nvm
  21. As stated many times, you can attack multiple npc from safe spot even in 1vs1 area with magic, ranged, hell even melee is able to do that as long as you dont get hit.
  22. Only if the item can be upgraded with only 1 gem at a time and it has downsides also.
  23. Jagex has explicitly stated that such drops are unaffected by it. So, to unfairly generalize from this: Several people here didn't read the article properly. Or possibly at all. So: The RoW essentially increases the odds of you getting gem and key half drops. And a couple other things, too. The RoW is good if you don't need an attack/strength/whatever boost. You will get more key halves this way. Only slightly, though. Uncut diamonds (16k), Loop half (21k), Tooth Half (66k), and Shield half (66k) are all semi-valuable items with increased droprates. D spear and D med might be, too. ...Great saradomin, those have dropped in price. It isn't useless. Nor, really, very useful. It slightly increases the chance of mediocre to decent rare drops. An extra 60k occasionally, but otherwise not much. what about chicken meat from chicken and cow meat from cow ? =P 1. They are 100% drop. 2. They are "monster" exclusive drops.

Just hang in there. You`ll get a wonderful feeling when you finish it.
