You say anyone can take your turn? Okay try this one on... Only hint you get is that it's at least 15+ years old. And... [hide=Blast from the past, and page 30 of this thread] I know, that was posted several pages back (page 30) but that's Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, I have it and beat it. Apogee ftw? [/hide]
  2. I just did my 2 trees today, nurtured both. First one was an Oak, ended up giving 43xp per stage I nurtured. Second was a Yew and I was getting 172.5xp per stage nurtured. Hope that helps and very nice work on the locations. =D>

Just subscribed to several of them to help get you that much closer the the achievement! My Spore name is ZalokPrime and I make some RuneScape themed creations if you ever wanted to make an Epic Abyssal Demon or hunt down Dust Devils. :D I've also made some spice plants, had one on the MPN (Most Popular New) list so feel free to subscribe and comment. : Oh, and about Galactic Adventures, I heard it got pushed to May 20th which sucks, was really looking forward to a March release. If you haven't seen any of the vids for it there are some on the Spore site. They are actually giving us the planet dev tool they used to design the planets. Planets, 60 new plants, custom multi-act missions, and a whole new sub-level for the Space Stage (the Captain) sounds like a bunch of awesome to me. I'd gladly help and I'd like to point out the hound and wraith vehicle I made have nothing to do with RuneScape so they are slightly out of place there. Also, thanks for the comment on my Dust Devil! I commented on your Yt-MejKot and rated it  [hide=Psst...]You might want to check out my RuneScape Slayer Monsters sporecast, have a Turoth on there since early creature creator back in June, I think you will like what you see.[/hide]
  4. I've noticed a few things about the Evil Tree D&D: After a tree dies another will grow after a random amount of time, could be a matter of minutes or hours. This D&D was made so it couldn't and shouldn't be mass hunted like the stars, giving more people a chance to stumble across them and get a decent reward and not be choked out by the masses. There are 26 locations where the trees can sprout (your guide says 25) and most are in densely wooded areas or near roads and towns. Thankfully the hints from the spirit trees are far from vague like the hints with penguins or stars. "Draynor" is much easier to find than "Somewhere in RuneScape." The evil tree saplings grow on their own, making the whole farming part completely pointless. By the time you get to some they are already grown. ANY form of interaction with or regarding the evil tree will count as one of your two trees for the day. (I simply took a spirit tree teleport and that counted as a tree -.- ) * You may interact with 2 more trees again after 12:00 AM GMT. For the first day Jagex was actually forcing the trees to spawn at set times so they could run a steady event. That event is over so don't expect constant respawns anymore. ** * Jagex is looking into this so that only actual farming or chopping/burning of the tree will count, rather than just a teleport or being in the area of a dead one. ** They are going to implement a rough time estimate of when one will sprout, but don't expect it to be entirely accurate. Overall I must say I love the new Evil Trees and the rewards are actually pretty decent for the higher leveled ones if you manage to get more than 20% reward. I was just a bit bummed when the clue I got from an Evil Magic was level 1.
  5. theyre not going to let you keep? Oh no, I'll still have them but they will go from something only a few people had and were near impossible to get again to something anyone who gets a mime twice can get. They will always be special to me but not to the rest of RS anymore.
  6. Figured I'd post one of my "special" items before it becomes possible to get again with the random event changes. How I got double mime was shortly after costume rooms came out. If you stored a full set and had the random again you would get more clothes. Roughly a week later they removed the ability to get doubles but left any doubles in the game. I guess if you were fast and happened to know just when a mime was going to come for you you could have gotten double but really, what are the odds of that? Next week I must say goodbye to my special doubles.
  7. Never underestimate how stupid people can get. :wall: I recall seeing a post by Mod Ash stating that like axes, all headless pickaxe handles would vanish, heads would grow handles, and all broken axes would be repaired for free. It was also mentioned they would have all GE offers on broken and headless pickaxes and axes aborted and any completed ones would give the repaired pickaxe/axe rather than a broken version. Also, they would remember to hit the bank notes the first time around. Sadly, I cannot find that post by Mod Ash again, I think it fell off page 50 already. As for the people that thinks they will be a new rare, let them think that, sell your broken stuff and laugh when they lose their money come next week. They have been warned.
  8. Don't the Soul Wars games start at the same time on all worlds? Well they SHOULD start at the same time and they would if every world always had enough players for each and every game. However, this is not the case and when the game doesn't have enough players the start timer gets paused which lead to games starting at different times. People abuse this by just joining games that are almost over, win or lose they get more zeal an hour than someone actually playing full games. A simple fix for it would be that you cannot join a game after logging in, you must wait for a new game to start before you can play. That would stop anyone hopping to join the almost over games although it might be annoying for people that just logged on to play and missed the game by a few minutes. This way it would force any would be hoppers to play full 20 minute games. As for the rewards I feel like they are fine, the HP might be a bit much but the rest isn't exactly amazing. You don't win every game, the XP scales with your level, and sure it might be amazing to see all that XP gain at once but imagine how much time it took to get all that zeal. I can get over 1m attack xp in a day at dust devils if I no life it (and I only did it once, going for 99 attack). Personally I'm no fan of XP from safe minigames but as long as it's not a better rate than the norm I have no problems.
  9. Oh I will get the Kurask, just 65 zeal to go. Then I get to camp for a Cockatrice Head again (5th one) and get that one. I do plan to post the Kurask on that thread when I get it, don't you worry! :
  10. I find it pretty darn fun although there are the obvious balance issues when you get teams together. Jagex said they are looking into the balance issue in this weeks FAQ though so hopefully Soul Wars will end up being a commonly used minigame and not a ghost town just used for a bank with no randoms. BTW, all those pets cost me 130 Zeal.
  11. Been at Soul Wars for a while now... Still have these heads left That's 1 Basilisk, 2 Kurask, and 1 Abyssal Demon :
  12. I know you asked low detail but I hope this HD shot works for the guide. Baby Basilisk and the inventory icon...
  13. *Points to sig* I happen to love Defence and always train it given the chance. It may be completely pointless other than ranks but I can't seem to help myself. Def noob is a compliment to me. : Ahh but to each his own I guess. *heads back to get more Defence XP* 46,367,847 Defence XP at the time of posting. Rank 280 Not a point of XP from PC, bandits, spiders, or any form of "AFK" XP and proud of it. :D
  14. I think this month looks like it will be a rather nice one. Soul Wars looks like it will be a fun alternative to doing slayer task but not completely devalue any work doing the actual tasks. The price checker will certainly be used a lot, no doubt about that. Not sure what exactly the quest list will bring but hey customization generally is a good thing. The Great Random Reform has me excited and a bit saddened at the same time, guess I'll have to grab a picture of my double mime boots before the change. : The new D&D with the evil tree looks suspiciously like something I suggested a while ago on the RSOF so I'm looking forward to seeing how they did this one. Farming, woodcutting, and firemaking... sounds good to me for something twice a day. I try to look at the BTS in a positive light, nothing is ever as bad as people think. ;) Oh, and I personally love the maze random except when I'm in combat. It's always so generous when it comes to rewards. 500 chaos, 200+ deaths, several K feathers, mithril ores, coal, and more, always welcome additions to my bank.
  15. Why do you care? -.- Probably because Red Jude was one of the biggest abusers of the bug and gained nearly 2m slayer xp from it. On a positive note, Red Jude is banned, again! \

You character meets face to face with Icthlarin and you (player) sees that in a cutscene. Yea, our characters have seen Guthix, been freed from the Devourer by Icthlarin, take slayer tasks from the Devourer, and if you really think about it the 3 audience members in the mime event look a lot like Saradomin, Guthix (in some kind of nature/moss form), and Zamorak. Zamorak and Saradomin statues are also on the login page and look a lot like the two characters in the mime random. Just a thought. Anyways back on topic, has anyone thought maybe WGS was originally going to be longer and be THE quest but Jagex decided to release half of it with a cliffhanger ending and making it possibly the biggest hint for the big quest? A lot of questions went unanswered and it seemed to end abruptly. Leads me to believe part 2 of WGS will be the big quest, the gathering of the Mahjarrat and Lucien's rise to power and we must stop it and we may even have help from other Mahjarrat since we have befriended some (any Zaros follower and Hazeel if you chose that path). I mean why after so long did they just now let us get our Hazeel's mark back?
  17. Indeed, now jagex needs to put zombie ourgs at jiggig Well the Ourg bones we know and love are ancestral and wrapped in linens and such. Unless we go and give Graardor some big last rights Bandos burial or something then it really is silly to expect him to drop his bones all wrapped in fancy ceremonial cloth. However, there was one Ourg that we kill that drops Ourg bones, but he was dead before we killed him so he doesn't really count as his body was already prepared and buried. That Ourg's name is... Slash Bash! Anyone remember how absolutely MASSIVE that guy was? I know, I know, it says he is a zogre, but what are zogres but just zombified orges and seeing as Fayrg, Raurg, and Ourg bones are all found there it should be safe to say a zogre can be one of those as well. Makes you wonder where the Fayrgs and Raurgs are... :ohnoes: And a bit off topic but this was my first post and hopefully not my last! :D
