Skill speculations
If I understand the topic here, it's not about whether or not skills should go beyond 99 but more of filling in the gaps we already have with more things to do and resources to work with. In my mind that should happen before anyone even thinks about upping the level cap. Skills like Farming pretty much grind to a halt in the mid 80s, this is of course excluding Daemonheim exclusive skilling. Keeping with the original topic regarding new resources and features to fill in the gaps for various skills I did a bit of brainstorming and made a list. To be honest I made this list in a notebook about 2 years ago and never got around to doing anything with it. Anyways...
Many food items would have added effects outside of pure healing. Bacon Beef jerky (stackable, max stack of 10) Dragon jerky (stackable, max stack of 10) Dragon steak Lumbridge gumbo Maple beef jerky (stackable, max stack of 10) Magic beef jerky (stackable, max stack of 10) Maple dragon jerky (stackable, max stack of 10) Magic dragon jerky (stackable, max stack of 10) Lobster tail Sausage Shark steak Scallops Steak Salad Regal salad Feast (Salad, Steak, Bread, and Wine) Kingly Feast (Shark steak, Dragon steak, Regal salad, Bread, and Wine)
Smoker box (can smoke jerky) Large smoker box (can smoke sausage and larger amounts of jerky) Normal, Maple, and Magic logs have added uses for cooking Fireworks
Lemon trees Lime trees Pomegranate trees Grapes Kharid peppers Jugug Gourds (Gourd can be used as a waterskin or jug of water, and holds twice as much) Eggplants Garlic Peanuts Golden apple trees Mango trees Pear trees Waterleaf cacti (unlimited water source in the desert) Elderwood trees Dragonwood trees Spiritleaf Gourds (Gourd can be used as a vial, potions can be combined into 5 doses) Ability to create Jugug patches in the Feldip Hills Ability to create Waterleaf patches in the Kharidian desert Ability to create Spiritleaf patches in Isafdar Ability to create Dragonwood patches in the Wilderness Ability to create golden apple patches in the Fremennik Province
Elderwood trees Warpvine (various magical properties, good for enhancing staves) Dragonwood trees
Elderwood shortbows Elderwood longbows Dragonwood shortbows Dragonwood longbows
Scallops Whatever levels seem best for them works. Something like this would fill in a lot of gaps and add a good deal of variety to a number of worn out skills.

Icedemon?
I believe that would be this guy. Most likely the updated To'Kash the Bloodchiller, as others have said. I must say the new demons look rather nice and I can't wait to see Har'Lakk the Riftsplitter, in all his riftsplitting glory.

They are one-off rewards, so you can only get them once. They'll be instanced. Imagine how many people it would piss off if: "You've reached 20 Dungeoneering. You have one time access to the dungeon north of Varrok." *Player enters dungeon* "Sorry [bleep]. All the rune rocks are depleted." Hate to break it to you but they will NOT be instanced. Vuvuzelas in runescape ?
While annoying, it still gave me a good laugh or two. According to Mod Mark it will be gone with the next update so get your fill!

Scroll of augury, low blow to mage?
The knowledge base is wrong when describing Augury. It does NOT boost magical defence by 25%. In game the prayer states it will boost magical accuracy by 20% and Defence (as in the skill, just like Piety) by 25%. It is essentially the magic version of Piety, hardly a low blow at all.

Magic spells do not have the same max as they used to. Fire surge may have maxed 28 in the past but its max was actually around 28.31 which rounded down to 28. Now the base max of fire surge is 283.1, rounded down to 283 while the .1 still factors in to damage bonuses. The KB may say it maxes 280 but it's wrong, try it out yourself. I first noticed this with fire bolt on irons. I hit above what my max would have been in the old system with my boosts so I decided to max with just the base damage and sure enough i hit a few tiny points of damage higher. Fire Surge max on Ice Strykewyrms: 283.1 * 1.15 * 1.15 * 1.21 * 2 + 80 = ~986.057 or simply 986 due to rounding to whole damage

My max so far on Ice Strykewyrms. It's even higher than it would have been in the old hp system thanks to damage not being rounded down, allowing some extra damage from the boosts! Damage boosts: Fire cape (+80) + Hexcrest (+15%) + Wolpertinger scrolls (+21%) + Staff of Light (+15%) + Fire Surge (2x)

Am I the only one who thinks Stryke is the possible name for the fairy general? As in Fairy Stryke, a slight play on "Air Strike". Perhaps we need to coordinate 3 attacks against the Godfather (Worship, or else...) and his two henchmen? [hide=Fairy general and Godfather] [/hide] Three "Strykes" and they're (the Godfather and his two henchmen) out of Zanaris? Three also fitting it being the 3rd and final quest in the series.

**New Quest - Rune Mechanics**
[hide=Penance Trident] The ones who couldn't turn their area sounds off? <_< What did they think they'd solve by adding this? Is this even a mage staff anymore? http://forum.tip.it/public/style_emoticons/dark_skin/rolleyes.gif Well, it's better than Dragon Spear but gives magic offense too. Maybe people can use magic to lower Corps defense now? lol... I don't know what they solved, but it has fancy bonuses in random places. And I can hit 20+ with it without the special now. The whole set rivals full rune with d scim with barrows gloves and climbing boots. Pretty good for free stuff. (Free in that it's a reward for playing a minigame I used to play just for fun.) [/hide]With the master trident they made it a hybrid melee and magic weapon. Speed of a whip with decent stats, especially stab, for a couple hours of playing what I find to be a very fun minigame. A trident without melee would just be silly, giving it magic bonuses just sweetens the deal although it would be nice if it had a +10% damage bonus. Maybe add +10% if you reach level 5 in each role or something?

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Anyone know the current going price on 3rd age mage hat and amulet? I've been trying to complete my set and can't seem to find a price on them.
